We always have a fantastic time here at Côtes Clifton Village. The food is lovely and the service is always very prompt and friendly! Thank you
Set mail starter could be better. One of the main fish course is slightly over cook. Should have a six out of six. Hopefully will be better next time we visit.
French-style brasserie with pleasing range of fixed price and à la carte menus. Relaxed and comfortable atmosphere with friendly, efficient service. Good food, attractively presented and great value for money! You can always count on Cote!
Good food and delightful staff equals a good place to eat. What more can I say? I did not require twenty five words to say it was good.
Enjoyed the meal on a warm spring evening. We weren't rushed so it was nice to have time to chat. When we arrived we were offered a table right next to the door, we asked to move, which was fine, but the air con was a bit drafty and cold to start with.
Everything from quality of food and value for money, fab house wine, to perfect friendly, accommodating staff just spot on! We had a great night out!
As always, the service and food was good. The choice of the two set menus as well as the "a la carte" means it works for all occasions.
Another fantastic meal, superb tuna nicoise and a lovely duck in cherry sauce were just 2 of the highlight dishes. We love the ambiance and in paticular the outstanding service from the waiting team. We are looking forward to our next visit.
Delicious food and great service. Thank you for the Complimentary Brithday Kir Royale! We also got our preferred Table in the window. Thank you- we will definitely be back.
Nice food. 3 course menu was great value for money! Only negative is the acoustics (sound absorption) is terrible so really hard to have a conversation, but don’t let that put you off
very attentive waiter; excellent food. Only gave 5 rather than 6 as we ordered bread to nibble which didn't arrive but we were charged for it. We pointed it out and it was remedied but I felt given the service charge it should not have happened. A very enjoyable evening. many thanks Cote Clifton we will visit again
Food good, service good, but a very large group of young women made the restaurant very noisy. Wine list was rather limited so only bought wine by glass.
The food was yummy and the service was very attentive. My family and I have all agreed we would visit again! Some very happy customers.
Good choice of food and good attentive service, an extensive choice of menu with friendly staff, an enjoyable evening and overall good value for money.
great value set menu, free bottle of wine :), great waiter service. The only issue was noise levels but it was a Friday night and busy.
We had an excellent table in a quiet position, as requested. The service was very attentive. I had cod as a main course and found it rather dry. This is a reliably good restaurant but better quality ingredients are needed. The menu needs to be more imaginative. The cod goujons I had last week were very bad. They seemed to contain little or no fish. One feels this restaurant is being run by accountants. It is in a good position, has a good atmosphere but the food, especially the main courses, is mediocre.
Lovely setting and location but limited parking which is metered til 9pm. Friendly, efficient service. Had a slight issue with duck overcooked but managers as dealt with that.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to cote. Food and service was of its usual excellent level. We look forward to visiting this wonderful restaurant again.
good service food a little lacking in the taste we has set meal and it seemed you still charged for veg etc to complete the meal. Otherwise it was ok .
We chose Cote as a convivial setting for a reunion of old friends who had converged on Bristol as geographically central to us all. The three of us had a thoroughly enjoyable evening: great atmosphere, delicious food and excellent value.
Great service, great food , happy atmosphere - took elderly parents and they were made very welcome , there were young families too - something for everyone
We really enjoyed our evening there. We had great prompt service, and all 6 of us really enjoyed each of the dishes we ordered. There was also a good childrens' menu. We will return.
Some good new additions to the set menu. Had a most enjoyable evening, great atmosphere and delicious food, amazingly good value & attentive service as usual
Starter of mushroom feuillete was delicious but very few mushrooms provided. Rather felt they had almost run out and shared one helping of mushrooms between the 3 diners who had ordered. All the other food was excellent as was the wine. Service competent but one or two not happy faces! Restaurant busy as usual. I do recommend but, as before, do not like the automatic addition of 12.5@ service. It will be removed if requested.
Best place in Clifton for an easy comfortable place to eat.
Brilliant as ever. Everyone enjoyed it. Can't0 wait to go back.
We all had a lovely meal. Shame it can be bit noisy at times.
lovely food and staff were very attentive. food is always reliable.
Helpful staff and good atmosphere, though rather noisy at lunchtime. Good to have a choice of two set menus; food was very good. Would come again
Booked this for a friends birthday. Very satisfied with everything. Great food!
Great location in heart of Clifton Village. Varied menu to suit all tastes and budget
Excellent as always. Good food and great service and not too expensive
A really enjoyable evening. Great food and attentive service. And very reasonably priced
Lovely place right in the heart of Clifton Village. Good selection on the menu
Not as good as the one in Bath. Too cold to be comfortable. Wine was a bit expensive. food was reasonable but not exceptional and service the same
A nice location in Clifton Village. Good choice of menu as a variety of specials. Service was good and food enjoyable. Parking is the only downside
Friendly service and staff are good with children. Sunday lunch menu good, although limited. Spacious interior. Parking difficult. Cote chain consistently good value for money.
Always good quality and good service. It is evident that prices are staying more or less the same however quantities are reducing. I did think the crab mayonnaise at £8.50 for a starter was on the pricey side - it tasted good but was small and not very inspirational in its presentation.
Usual excellent food, service and atmosphere for a family get together. We have consistantly had excellent experiences across different restaurants in the group. Waitress was great and ensured we all enjoyed.
Great atmosphere, lovely food and reasonably priced. We were a table of 4 and we all really enjoyed our visit. We would definitely visit again
As always a good atmosphere with well presented tasty food from a varied menu. Staff are always friendly attentive and efficient and this visit was no exception.
As usual all your staff were welcoming, very friendly and efficient, and the food was up to its normal standard - hence your records will show our regular visits, the frequency of which I hope will continue.
Hate their policy of adding 12.5% tip to the bill as the default. But for this, I would frequent more often, rate much higher, and happily recommend to others.
Cites was very pleasant the food, service and atmosphere were all great. The only thing that was disappointing was the first meal One of our party ordered was sold out ☹️
This is my favourite restaurant in Clifton. The food is always amazing and reasonably priced and the service is impeccable. I would highly recommend a visit here
Always consistently great service and great food. A warm welcome at the door and attentive staff , who are efficient and friendly. One of the best restaurants in Bristol.
Excellent food and very attentive service by staff. A lively atmosphere in the restaurant making for a most enjoyable evening for our group celebrating someone's birthday.
Although it was very busy the service and food were good today. Our waiter was good humoured and attentive and the meal was well-paced. Not always the case on a bank holiday.
Five of us enjoyed an excellent supper (two chicken, two ribeye, one lamb chops). All dishes were delicious, and the chocolate fondant, bread and butter pudding, lemon tart and coupe noire were all excellent.
Lovely reception and my parents were given a complimentary drink as it was their 55th wedding anniversary. The food arrived very efficiently and was nicely presented
