Côte Bristol Clifton Village

Great restaurant with excellent service and the food is consistently tasty. This is one of my favourite restaurants in Bristol and it’s a clear step above other chain restaurants.

Enjoyable meal. It was busy (as Fathers Day) so a few little things not as perfect as usual - potato gratin overcooked and vegetables cool on plate -

Despite all tables being occupied, some with large parties, for a very busy Father’s Day lunch-time, we were served promptly and politely with delicious food, as always. To be highly recommended for any occasion, or none.

Efficient and friendly service. Good range of choice on menu incl specials and children's options. Quality of food very good. The only small quibble was when a request to leave an ingredient off a main course dish was forgotten.

Despite being very busy for Fathers Day, the staff were friendly courteous and efficient. The food was fine and the Sauvignon very good. A very pleasant lunch.

Fantastic lunch, particularly enjoyed the complimentary birthday celebration Kir Royals! Fish was fantastic. Great value lunch menu and consistently good food whenever you go to Cote.

Staff immediately welcomed you on arrival and tried to find a quiet spot as requested. The quality of food was excellent, the staff attentive without being overbearing and service was quick.

As always at Cote Clifton had a lovely evening. Very efficient and friendly service. Would have scored a 6 but my chicken main course was very dry.

Amazing restaurant with fabulously attentive staff. Everything perfect! The best place to eat in Clifton village. Have visited on many occasions and have never been disappointed. Service excellent as always. The food came very quickly and with a smile! Really super service. We are lucky to live so close to Cote.

Staff could be a little more attentive but the portions were a good size (smaller), the produce was great quality and the food was really good.

everything was excellent, food presentation, quality and service. a very enjoyable experience. our first visit to the Clifton Cote and we will certainly visit again at some point in the future.

The brasserie has a good ambience and we felt very comfortable here. Excellent service, extremely polite and attentive and especially ensuring our dietary restrictions were met. Food very tasty but unfortunately our one steak was slightly tough. Very impressed with the extent of the gluten-free options. One of our party asked for no butter on their veg and they immediately enquired about the possibility of lactose intolerance. We'll definitely return - the restaurant is very well run and each course arrived in a timely fashion. The taking our drinks and food orders were also done in a timely way. We really like Cote.

We had dinner there one evening this week, The service was excellent and timely, and food was excellent. Prices not too high either, especially set menu

Poor service, left alone too much. We were offered a gap between courses which we accepted and which was then ignored. Staggered by 12.5% service charge. Food was good but not good enough to return when coupled with such service.

Really nice restaurant with friendly staff. Good choice of dishes with good value specials. The food was delicious as was the wine and was not too expensive. Will definitely be returning.

The Clifton Village Cote is one of the best Cote outlets that we have visited. They serve great food, deliver good service and the decor/atmosphere is smart but relaxed.

My husband and I dined here this Friday and as usual the food was excellent, nice and hot and tasty. The staff were very efficient, polite and friendly.

Food was tasty and authentically French flavours chicken especially good and staff were really efficient and helpful especially as we had a very short ammount of time.

Flatbread camembert starter was not good but they did offer to replace it with an alternative. Main and pud ok. Had set menu and overall good value for money. More staff needed.

Went on a Friday night with a party of 7. Service was prompt and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Good variety on the menu with good prices to match. A very good evening.

We had a lovely relaxed evening at Cote. Food was delicious, lots of choice and good value. Staff were all very attentive but not intrusive. The atmosphere was happy and chatty; we will definitely come again!

Good food, went on a very busy Saturday night but services was quick. The restaurant was very loud and the meal felt rushed. Prefer Cote at quaker friars.

Good Choice and Great food, Attentive and helpful service. Nothing too much trouble for our waitress. An oasis after a hot spring day. Always a consistent place to eat.

Took 2 friends for a birthday lunch. We had an excellent meal. Nothing left on the plates! Very good service from friendly and attentive staff.

We liked the new menu. Food good as always. Delicious asparagus. Be nice if as well as free water they provided a complimentary basket of bread as they do in France

The staff were very attentive and we were seated promptly. We had the set menu before 7pm - we all enjoyed our food although the fish was a tad small. Very lovely though and great value.

Excellent meal and good service. However, you would have got a full house 5 except for a party of 12 exceedingly noisy girls. This spoiled our party of 8 (quiet friends) - very annoying. PLEASE consider putting this sort of party at the far end of the restaurant so the rest of us are not treated to whooping and shrieking. All the previous reviews I have read have said much the same - time to address your noisy tables!

Another great visit to Cote. We particularly like the new prestige menu option.

Lovely atmosphere, great staff and a great location for a family breakfast / meet up. I have knocked off 1 point as my eggs we a tiny bit cold. I think the plate hadn’t been warmed thoroughly and therefore cooled the food quickly. This didn’t ruin my meal, Howe it was a noticeable factor.

Came here for my birthday and they gave me a free pudding. Fantastic atmosphere and staff! Lovely food and reasonably priced, always a nice setting and the staff make the occasion wonderful - I'd recommend to all!

One table relocated due to the noise from a large party which arrived after we had started our meal. Not in control of waiting staff, who were good and apologised fir the noise. Food excellent

The Fougasse garlic bread had to be sent back as it was rock hard but otherwise the food was very good, as was the service. They were incredibly busy and coped well

Overall ok but drinks order was incorrect and had to ask twice for cutlery. Waiter seemed rushed. It was busy so this is understandable but would be better if waiting staff were less stretched and able to be more attentive.

Nice location and atmosphere. Definite value for money; great food. Only negative point is there wasn't a full menu choice, as 2 of the mains (including the one I wanted) wasn't available, although my second choice was just as good. Waiters were accommodating and service was timely. Overall a pleasant experience.

Another great meal at Cote, we always come away feeling that this is truly one of the best modern restaurants around. Our waitress was exceptional, attentive and charming, and the food delicious, perfectly cooked and presented and helped down with a refreshing French Sauvignon. We'll be back of course!

This is our favourite restaurant and the service and food was fantastic its good to have nothing has changed just improved, the staff make you feel you are the most important person to walk through the door, from the moment you arrived to the moment you leave, they can’t do enough for you, I’ll keep coming until I get bad service and food. I hope that will never happen
