We had to send steaks back twice it was rough and cooked well done and then the other end rare. Disappointing as I took some friends

We had a most enjoyable lunch at Cote, Clifton yesterday. The food and service, by our young waiter, were excellent as per usual. To date we have always found Cote a reliable place to eat either lunch or dinner.

Have eaten here previously, and the food is always very good, with attentive staff. On Sat 18/8/18 we were seated next to the kitchen entrance, so a lot of 'coming and going'. The restaurant was full, so there was a high level of noise and chatter (as you would expect on a Saturday!)

Extremely quick service with a very attentive waiter. The Full French breakfast was fantastic and the offer for a 'Full Breakfast with a juice and hot drink' was absolute perfection for a Sunday morning.

Our experience was really good. Food was delicious and most of all we had terrific service. Excellent waiter - really enjoyed the ambience and surroundings

Excellent menu and quality of food served by friendly and efficient staff Will certainly revisit and recommend to friends and aquaintences. Only drawback is Clifton village parking charged up to 21.00hrs !

Our table of 4 selected from the lunchtime prix fix and enjoyed extremely well presented and prepared dishes. All was very very tasty and perfect for a lunchtime experience. Our service was also very competent. Our only reservation was that the area of the restaurant we were seated within was noisy and looked a bit tired - and whilst we had asked for a special table, we were not seated in the quieter more peaceful restaurant areas further in to the restaurant. However, I will know what to ask for on this point the next time I book..

Friday night dinner and food was served promptly. The service was good as was the atmosphere. The meal was of a high standard and the prices were of good value.

Ok. Nice to have a dressed salad but a simple tomato salad didn’t need rocket, cheese, capers and pine nuts too! Chewy but tasty steak. Lovely waiting staff. Good ambience.

A delicious gin cocktail kick started our anniversary celebration followed by wonderful Breton fish soup and beautifully cooked sea bass with artichokes - excellent service, attentive but not intruding - top marks!

Excellent value meal and friendly service. All courses were of high quality and, even though ordered from the set menu, provided a wide choice and satisfaction.

Waiting staff should know how to open and pour champagne without : 1. Spilling it and 2. Allowing it to bubble out of the top of the glass.

Fast efficient and responsive service and lovely, well-cooked food. Acoustics are quite challenging for over50s hearing, but indicative of the fun tine that everybody had.

It was a lovely, welcoming atmosphere and the waiting staff were very friendly. I have a severe nut allergy, and I found the staff to be extremely accommodating and understanding. The food was excellent, with something to suit everyone in our group of people! We will definitely come again!

Consistently good food, lunch menu always varied, I can always find several things I like on it even though I don't eat meat. A la carte menu very good too.

Consistently good food with friendly and fast service. The fixed price menu offers good value. My only criticism is that the recipe for the creme caramel, Has apparently been changed and now lacks the previous creaminess and bitterness of the caramel sauce.

Great food and service. Is very noisy if you sit on the first area by the door but better if you are on the higher levels.

Good food, the fish was perfectly cooked. Also the staff were very accommodating as we where running late, and needed to change our time of arrival.

Excellent service and food as always. I had the bread crumbed calamari followed by theslow roast belly of pork, both of which were superb. All washed down with copious amounts of fresh fileterd water and finished off with a double espresso. I absolutely adore Cote and love having business lunch there!

Another excellent meal at a very reasonable price. The stak frites can always be relied on and as usual the service was prompt, efficient and friendly.

As always, the staff were very polite and attentive. The food was lovely, although I had expected the tomatoes in the starter to be cooked. This was a minor thing and I still enjoyed the dish.

The staff were lovely but we felt abandoned as not enough staff to go round....our guests were from efficient Norway and were surprised by your lack of service. Great shame as we were mainly gluton free party and came as your gluten free offerings are so good..........more staff.

Our waiter was so helpful he really went the extra mile for us. The meal was good but service was excellent. We have been served by this waiter before and he is always consistently helpful.

A lovely welcome on arrival and a choice of seating. Staff very helpful ,knowledgable and friendly,good choice of menus two set menus one serving until 7pm the other until close of restaurant plus al a carte.Excellent choice of food on all menus,lovely quality and well presented. All in all a great experience look forward to returning soon

Efficient, friendly, good food, great for that early evening meal before theatre or show. We easily booked online with quandoo and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
