Excellent informal evening for a party of four. Interesting, varied menu, dishes attractively presented, and very good wine. Charming and efficient service. Fine value for money.

Lovely restaurant, staff very attentive, food well presented and good quality, even though the resturant was busy staff always around to deal with requests, will be returning.

As usual, a friendly welcome and very good food, as well as a jolly decent wine from unknown French provenance. We share the first course and then one happily our different fishy ways. The coupe noire is epic; nobody makes better chocolate sauce.

As ever Cote offered a wide choice of set menus and reasonable prices, and again as ever the excellent friendly and efficient staff made us very welcome. A most enjoyable evening.

Food was beautifuly presented and the staff were very friendly and helpful. My tuna was a little over done however still tasted nice the lamb, and fish dishes were also delicious according to my family who dined with me. Will definitely recommend

Had a fantastic breakfast this morning. The chef surpassed my expectations and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Would absolutely recommend it to family and friends.

Always great food and a vibrant atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and seem to really care that you happy with everything. Always our go to place for a family meal.

Took too long to receive our order. First course was really good when it arrived. Main course up to usual standard. Otherwise everything was OK but not anything special

My friend unfortunately had a bad meal, but the Manager was brilliant and acted professionally under the circumstances and didn’t charge us. Well done Cote, can’t understand why other establishments don’t do this when things are obviously wrong Would definitely go back because of their attitude. We do go often and this is the first time we have had a problem

Welcoming vibrant brasserie with excellent choice of French influenced prix fixe & a la carte menus. A taste of France in the heart of Bristol.

The food was excellent and the servers were friendly and efficient. There was a small problem with the bill but it was rectified as soon as we pointed it out. The restaurant was very busy as it was Saturday night but the staff worked extremely hard to make sure that everyone was happy. Well done!

We have always had an excellent meal at Clifton, the staff are amazing, so friendly and courteous. my only concern is if seated in entrance it can feel very drafty and cold in the winter!

The food was excellent. The service was good, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I use branches of Cote all over the country when travelling. It is always reliable.

Booked friday night dinner for 2. The restaurant wasn't too busy and the meal was good with the exception of the fish which was a little dry as if it had been sitting for a period after being cooked. Otherwise, atmosphere, service and other meal was perfect.

Just cannot fault the service, or food - great value for money. They replaced my fish dish tonight immediately, when they saw it was slightly over cooked. - no hesitation. so well dealt with. Thank you.

Another delicious birthday celebration meal yesterday lunchtime at what has to be a favourite restaurant in Bristol. We were welcomed like old friends, sat at our requested window table with nothing being too much trouble. Delicious, well-prepared food served to our part of 5 with fellow diners and our waiting staff joining in our rendition of "Happy Birthday to you" which accompanied desert! We'll be back. We enjoyed our food and wine and were served well. The atmosphere was convivial as always but a bit noisy due to the number of people.

Another great night out for dinner with the family at our favourite restaurant. Super food and impeccable service as usual all at a reasonable price, less than £40 per person with aperitifs, a 3 course dinner, wine and service included

Food and service was good. However 3 of us had to return soup as only warm. However did bring back 3 new bowls of hot soup

Good service, attentive and polite staff. .Good choice of food both early meals and premium meals. Relaxed setting Always receive a welcome from all staff members. A good venue for family and friends.

1. We made clear when arriving that we wanted a reasonably well lit table and blow me if they didn't turn down the lights 5 minutes after we sat down before we had even ordered our drinks. 2. The fish parmentier was very salty and served like a pub fish pie. Small dish, no accompaniment. After complaint (handled well) it was replaced by sea bass which was good but a little.overloaded by fennel root. 3. Pork belly was good

A lovely meal with friendly staff and lots of atmosphere can’t go wrong at Cote Clifton whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner it’s always a winner.

Good atmosphere. Pleasant staff. Took a bit too long in taking our order, my guests were getting restless but overall would definatley revisit when next in Bristol.

Every trip to Cote Brasserie in Clifton Village is so enjoyable - from the greeting to the waiting staff and the food itself. Great service and ambience, highly recommended.

Great lively atmosphere but not loud. Staff were welcoming and friendly and the service was efficient. The food was great apart from one haddock fish which was over cooked and therefore dry - this was quickly replaced with a delicious crab dish. I would still always recommend this restaurant.

Disappointing on this occasion. My son left hungry ….. mini starter which was certainly more and better last time. Mine not as good as last time either and the haddock was tough, we had to hack it across. We had the early bird and I honestly felt it had "slipped". Service however was excellent. Very noisy! I am bringing a party on Wed for lunch 10 of us and I hope it will be better then. Do I have rebook on line to have prosecco as an aperitif as I have already booked by phone?

As always friendly staff and good cooking. Nice ambiance and very efficient. We will continue to recommend Cote to friends as a reliable chain of restaurants

Expensive Starters and Desserts were average, the mains well cooked. The extras like sides, sauces, nibbles, and the very steep £20 cover charge seriously added up. £180 for 4 that only included 3 small glasses of Merlot is extortionate.

Food, service & ambience were extremely good. BUT noise levels were horrendous. It would be good to introduce some features to help absorb the noise.

Lovely food as usual and pleasant staff but very slow service. We were given free puddings to compensate. We’d go again but speed of service must improve!

staff were welcoming, attentive and efficient. food was flavoursome, authentic and good value. it got a little noisy with some large groups but we were able to move outside for our desserts which was quite pleasant

Wide menu selection of well planned and delivered meals. Waiting staff were pleasant and smiling, helpful and efficient. Final bill was in line with expectations. Overall, a very good experience.

Great food, really great service ,and a buzzy atmosphere. We love the Côte chain and have been to them all over the country. This one was just as good.

Very good as usual. The calamari was excellent. the pork was cooked to perfection, the Creme brûlée was scrumpy and there is always service with a smile.

Great service with a smile and the food was delicious. We all loved the choices of wine and the menu options for gluten free.Would definitely return!
