Excellent food and Service for a party of 16 different meals.

Good food in a nice environment. Set menus are excellent value.

Fantastic food and staff! We each had 3 courses and everyone especially enjoyed the pavlova dessert.

As a fairly frequent diner at this venue, this occasion fell below the high standards we have come to expect at Cote. The initial drinks were somewhat slow to arrive, water flasks were slow to be replaced (we had to ask), there appeared to be no non-alcoholic alrernative to the promotional drinks you have been offering in recent months, and we waited ages to be able to order our food (only after asking 3-4 different members of staff within a short space of time) after initially asking for a little bit more tme, once. We understand the waiter, who was very pleasant, if has to be said, was still in training, so somewhat understandable, but the service experience wasn't that we have come to expect.

Cote is always our "go to" place for a night out. Excellent food and great staff! I can highly recommend the fillet steak and peppercorn sauce - always cooked to perfection. They are also very accommodating for children...willing to bring main out their mains with your starters etc. Our son - actually - looks forward to visiting. They accommodate his tastes: calamari with a side of fries! Highly recommend.

Good food and wine, the service was ok but could be more attentive and timely. The section of the restaurant we were in was far too hot.

Great breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Staff were very good particularly with the helping the kids with their menu choices. The only downside is the automatic adding of 12.5% to the bill. I don't object to tipping but I want the choice of what to add NOT the choice of whether to take it off.

The foods always a reason standard. The restaurant was far too hot and I came out with my jeans sticking to my legs. Service is always adequate but never goes that one step above but it’s always busy so that’s expected. I’m not the biggest fan of the way you put the tip on the bill and say it’s up to the customer to take it off if they don’t want to pay as I feel it puts me in an awkward situation.

Fabulous evening. The food was excellent, service top notch all in all just about perfect.

I like the way Cote offers a monthly menu, so there is some variation from the set menu for regular guests.

Just as a Brasserie should be, muted conversation but staff busy & helpful & atmosphere welcoming.

Very much regret that we had booked for my wife's birthday treat as she loves Lobster and you had advertised it as a special this month we arrived and were not told until we had ordered a bottle of white wine that Lobster was off tonight. Very disappointed, although the alternative Duck we chose was good. Service apart was also good.

We were a party of 4. Our food was delicious. My partner and I shared a Chateaubriand, which was really well cooked. We all had the creme caramel, which we agree is the best in Bristol. Great staff and service. Good atmosphere.

Absolutely enjoyed my experience here as the food and service was second to none. I requested a cushion and It was there ready for me when I arrived, the food made us make yummy noises with every mouthful and although we are not usually tempted by a desert, this very nearly changed due to the tempting sweeties on offer. I would highly recommend a visit.

A great evening made all the better by a lovely waitress who made us all feel welcome and looked after us very well in deed. Our 16 month old granddaughter took a real shine to her!

Brilliant as usual. Star missing? Well, air con not effective on a very hot day. Service was excellent from all staff. Prompt attention on arrival and two of them checked all was okay during the meal. Food and drink delivered in good time. The property, as usual, was very clean and neat. Very good menu options. Booking a table is so, so easy. Great food at any time of day!

Great food and staff, atmosphere good too. Only disappointment was the chantilly cream on the desert had gone off, so 3 members of our table of 5 left with bad tastes in their mouths...

We’ve never had a bad meal at Clifton Cote - food and service is consistently excellent.

One small thing, I asked for french mustard which was just like English, too strong/tart, not typically french mustard, other than that, excellent.

We were very surprised at the misleading pricing on the menu for the Chateaubriand steak in the June specials. We ordered it thinking it was £19.95 for two because the menu said it was for two to share. It was only after we got the bill that we noticed the small 'per person' next to the price. We were extremely unhappy to have spent double what we expected and it has tainted the way we view Cote.

We had the best evening ever at Cote, Clifton, the staff were so friendly and the food was delicious! Despite being busy our food and drinks were served promptly, which was amazing!

Lovely, helpful staff. One meal was not as good as we thought it should have been. The staff were wonderful and didn’t charge us for it.?

We had a very enjoyable lunch and the service was good

The reason I am not giving 6 stars as we felt that we were being rushed. We had our bread and dips and haven’t even finished it and the waitress brought our main course out which had to be left at the side while we finished the bread. Then I was just finishing my main course and the waiter came over and ask if we were finished advise only just. They did apologise when I mentioned this when paying the bill and overall the food was excellent.
