Very good food , very nice atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff

The food and service was excellent. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

The early evening menu was great. Just what we wanted plus a nice glass of kit. As usual the service was amazingly prompt and so polite and helpful. The full menu obviously has greater choice and we will be back to celebrate ‘occasions’

I love Pissalanderie but your version has too much anchovy

Good atmosphere by warm serving by staff and good food. Duck confi is great taste with mash room source.

Service was excellent but main course arrived before we had finished a fougass and had to be sent back. The same thing happened two weeks ago. Need to ensure people have finished starters before mains leave the kitchen

Great atmosphere, good variety on the menu, very pleasant staff and competitive prices.

We had the early bird menu 3 of us had the mussels and one of us had the French Onion soup which were all delicious. However the mains did disappoint the 2 Beef stroganoffs were tough and the meat was in chunks rather than the usual thin strips, in fact the meat did not resemble fillet steak One of the rib eyes had a large amount of fat and gristle which spoilt the enjoyment of the meal for one diner We did complain to the waiter but as he appeared to be be new and the message did not get through to your kitchen staff The 2 cream caramels were very good The 2 apple crumble pots tasted average. We have eaten here a number of times as a four and as couples before and we were disappointed on this visit and will probably not be returning soon

Excellent atmosphere, food and service... I never regret eating at this restaurant!

Food was pretty average at best. One of our party has a steak which was seriously overcooked and had to be sent back. Replacement wasn’t much better and meant they had to eat on their own. Won’t be back for a while

Really nice lunch, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially our waitress who gave us a corner table. This made it easier for me to feed my baby as it was more comfortable and private, as well as more space for the pram. The service was excellent and food delicious. It was a very pleasant experience.

Myself and my wife had a lovely meal and will definitely be back the only disappointment was we book online via January offer but didn’t receive the offer when the bill arrived. Would have mentioned it to one of the staff but only noticed once I had paid.

The staff were helpful but service was slow. Two of us had savoury pancakes, very tasty but we feel overpriced considering the contents!

The server didn’t know about the January wine deal then had to be reminded again to get it taken off the bill, no one asked if our food was ok and the service wasn’t good as we had to keep trying to get their attention especially when it came to paying the bill. We gave up waiting in the end and went to the till.

Eating at Côte Brasserie is always a very good experience and this lived up to all our expectations. It does not matter whether the restaurant is in Bristol, Chichester, Guildford or anywhere else, the service, ambiance, food and drink are first class.

As ever, Cote continue to provide top quality service, food and atmosphere. Our visit last night, with a special complimentary bottle of wine, [monthly special offer] was a wonderful experience. Thanks to Hannah and her staff. You are all wonderful...... a credit to yourselves and the company.

Overall good experience, a few niggles but these were all put right within minutes. We were a table of 8 so a lot of people to take care of, but all good.

Nice meal at good price on the special January offer

We enjoyed a very tasty meal served to us by a cheerful, helpful and caring staff. The only downside was the couple opposite. The man chose to find 2 or 3 things wrong with his food. Now their are occasions when things are not as they should be and they need to be pointed out. However this is not an invitation to be rude and somewhat verbally aggressive to members of your staff. His manner showed no respect to these people when making his complaints. I compliment these staff for maintaining their patience and dignity. Well done!

The food and wine were very good so would come again. I wasn't so keen on the 12.5% gratuity being automatically added to the bill especially as the service we received deserved no more than 10% (ie. average). I realise that it was optional and I could have changed it, but that's not the point. You are relying on customers not wanting to have to make a specific point (and fuss) about getting it changed.

Lovely food and excellent service. Very good value at lunchtime.
