Excellent service lovely food great atmosphere, our waitress was lovely too! The only complaint I would have is I don't like the added 12.5% service charge. i would rather pay a tip of my own choosing not have this automatically added to the bill. Thanks for a great evening we will come back!

The staff at Cote Clifton were so kind and welcoming and made my daughter feel very special on her birthday meal out - from specially requested pink lemonade on arrival (along with celebration drinks for the adults!) to a beautifully presented birthday pudding which really made her evening. We tend to choose Cote for meals out because your menu caters so brilliantly for the dietary needs of my Mum who's a coeliac. As always, the food was nice but my daughter's order only came with 1.5 cod goujons which was smaller portion than usual. However she definitely filled up on ice cream after! Staff were attentive and helpful. Thank you Cote Clifton, especially Steph and Hannah Cook, for providing another lovely celebration meal for my family!

Great food even if a little over priced, too many people crammed in for turnover no atmosphere whatsoever, service very good but ruined by forcing them to tend to many tables

Busy Mother’s Day sitting however all staff welcoming and attentive. Food was great, atmospwas lovely and we did not feel rushed at any point. Well done Côte Brassiere Clifton Bristol

The food choice and quality was great. The atmosphere added to the meal, even on a Saturday night. The service was on par with this, from beginning to end.

Calamari was very crispy and felt like it had been lying around for a while Risotto vert was not great unfortunately. I could taste the basil but not a lot more. I think it needed more seasoning and or some Parmesan cheese to give some depth to it Not the best meal that I’ve eaten in your restaurants. Normally better than this

Excellent service. Delicious food and good value. We arrived 10 minutes early and were sat straight away. Our waitress was brilliant. We had food from the prestige set menu and it was excellent value; I recommend the pork belly.

Lovely meal, we didn’t feel rushed even though it was a busy Saturday lunchtime. I would definitely go again. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Food was nice waiter was a bit clueless didn’t bring olives when asked. Wrong food brought to the table for main. No salt and pepper on table. Service could have been better.

Great service and wonderful food, I had the ribeye 🥩 it was so good I’m still talking about it the next day. We had 3 courses and we all enjoyed everything we had. We will be back. Only thing I’d say is that 12.5% gratuity is automatically added to the bill, think that is a bit too much 10% would be enough and if you want to pay more then you can.

Very good food and very pleasant staff. Worth a visit. We are regular clients and really enjoy our meals there, the menu is quite varied and they normally have a special.

Good food, service and atmosphere. The staff appeared rushed at times (understaffed?) but still gave good service. Looking forward to next visit and May's menu. Perhaps more Spring vegetables?

We received a warm welcome and were seated vey quickly. Service as usual was prompt and attentive and the food was excellent. The restaurant was very busy so a little noisy but this didn't impact on a very enjoyable evening.

Very much enjoyed our meal, the service was excellent, we would have preferred a table that wasn't next to the blue dividing curtain, especially as the Restaurant was quiet when we arrived. Next time we will ask to sit somewhere less claustrophobic.

Staff protocol - their attentive and genuine warmness is tangible matched by the consistently excellent menu that has never failed to deliver for me and party of guests. As I suffer from tinnitus, the noise level for me in nay restaurant is challenging, especially with the cordial vibe Cote achieves.

This restaurant is great, the staff are fantastic with kids and always welcoming. We had the chateaubriand for the dad's for father's Day, chicken and duck dishes. All good!!

Use this restaurant regularly. Always receive great service from friendly attentive staff. Only thing I would suggest is that Cote update their dessert menu occasionally as this never seems to change

Not often necessary to book, but easy online to be certain of a table. Very wide selection on the menu of French themed favourites. Excellent service from the professional staff. Definitely returning soon!

We love Côte, Clifton! The food is consistently very good and the service spot on! The asparagus last night was fab.

Excellent brunch, good value with efficient staff. A great way to spend Sunday morning.

Had a lovely meal last night.The food quality was up to the usual standard. Our table was booked for 6.45pm on a saturday night. The service initially was very good, we got our drinks and starters quite quickly. The restaurant then began to fill up and we waited over 30 minutes for our main course and another 10 - 15 minutes for our dessert. The service is usually excellent at Cote. They obviously had a very full restaurant. It wouldn't put me off going again though, as the staff are generally very polite and friendly and the food consistently good.

Shame we couldn’t have our free Rhubarb Cocktails, but you ran out of Rhubarb! We were offered Peach Cocktails, but we had to eat from The A La Carte menu! What was that all about? Rather disappointing
