We found the restaurant excellent with great service and good value food. The choice of menu was fine and we found the set menus particularly good value.

Nice atmosphere, good service and excellent food. That is all I have to say - nothing more, more, more, more, more, more, more, more, more.

Great choice on the menu and all tasted fab apart from the under-done beans. But we complained and got a discount. Highlight was the praline crepe! Really busy so a bit noisy.

Good quality food, erveryone enjoyed our meal. The only black spot was thta we had to wait more time of expected between first a second course. Bregards, Alberto

Always guaranteed​ a quality meal and good service. What works well is the great variety and choice on the menus, even the early evening menu is great value.

The food was exceptional as always and the atmosphere was great. Our waitress could have been a little more smiley but the service was quick and efficient so no real complaints. I would highly recommend Cote Brasserie in Clifton to anyone.

One Rib Eye Steak cooked medium rare was too cooked (barely some pink remaining). I wasn't even sure whether it was Rib Eye as the two steaks looked very different and this one was very firm whereas the other looked normal tender red meat. I nevertheless ate it as I was visiting my nephew in UK and didn't want to cause a fuss... Next time, if and when, I will probably elect the one minute steak rather than the Rib Eye. Also, my glass of house red never got served with my steak... This was not a big problem as the sparkling water was great, but it is a shame to eat a steak in a restaurant without a glass of wine! The manager apologised and immediately said it would be on the house, but for me it was too late, so he offered me a dessert instead. This customer minded approach was very professional and appreciated. Otherwise, nice atmosphere and friendly staff... which is better than most restaurants in France!

An enjoyable evening. The food was good although my duck confit was very dry which it shouldn't have been. The reastaurant was very noisy which made it difficult to talk. Maybe it was because of where we were sitting.

Surprisingly good food and inexpensive wines. Attentive, friendly but not intrusive staff. Lively atmosphere of people enjoying themselves. Altogether a great evening, one that will hopefully be repeated in the near future.

Bristol Supper Club enjoyed an excellent evening, good food, excellent service and a 3 course meal together with wine for £20.00! The choice from the early evening meal was super and did not stint on the portions! A firm favorite of the Supper Club!

My meal ( steak) excellent as was my starter ( melon& ham) service very good. My wife's meal ( fish goujons) very mediocre and tasteless.

Enjoyed our evening at Cote, once again the staff were attentive and friendly and the food was very good. Excellent rib eye steak with bearnese sauce and crepe with orange and grand mariner to follow.

We were shown first to a table that was in a noisy area and as my sister is elderly and a bit deaf we asked t be moved to a quieter area and this was no problem. Staff vey friendly. Steak was excellent.

Good choice from the lunchtime set menu. Good Value. Good Service. Nice Location. Have eaten at Cote several times and they have maintained their high standards.

Enjoyed the early evening supper, good variety on the menu and seasonal links means this menu changes frequently. Food well cooked and presented attractively. Service was welcoming but unobtrusive,

Arrived an hour early but wasn't made to feel unwelcome. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that my water glass still had a trace of the previous uses lipstick on it. A small thing I know, but I've never experienced that at Cote before. Service lovely.

Excellent everything!!!!!!! The choice of food was huge and made it difficult to decide but my plaice was exquisite and the peach crumble was divine.

Food quality did not reflect prices charged. Very crowded not enough space for staff/customers to move between tables. Too noisy to talk without shouting. Alarm went off for extended time with only some customers being told what it was. Felt rushed through courses so that table to be re set. Staff friendly. Service charge added automatically at 12.5% and no easy way of changing when paying by card. Felt too much like a fast food chain and not a medium priced restaurant. Will not be going back.

Great service from all of the staff and delicious food. Wide election to choose from, from the main menu and the two special menus that we were offered.

The atmosphere was excellent and the service was quick and inconspicuous but the waiters were always available when required and as usual the food was of a very high quality

The meal was up to the usual quality and the staff coped efficiently with the fire alarm going off. They maintained calm and reassured all diners. The incident was rapidly resolved

Set menu was reasonably priced. Good ambience and service. Food was well cooked. Above average chain. Would prefer is service charge left to customer's discretion.

Food and service was good, we were there for a work lunch and worked very well as a relaxed but smart setting. Liked the classic menu options

Service was good and efficient with friendly staff. Food was consistent, standard Côte offering. We went on a Sunday lunchtime and they were doing a brisk trade, but there were a few tables to be had for walk-ins.

The 10 year anniversary menu was good and the service was prompt.The only downside was the champagne which was musty but which was changed quickly once this had been pointed out.

Once again we have had a great evening at cote, not without incident with a bizarrely wobbly table but it added to the fun.

To be honest after this visit this restaurant is my new favourite place in Bristol! I cannot wait to come back! Great food great service! Waht more could you want?

Good atmosphere, tables not too close together. Menu comprehensive, always a consistent standard of food and service. Cote is good value for money in Clifton.

We always enjoy Cote Brasserie - Bristol Clifton Village and our latest visit was no exception. The staff are very pleasant and the food is excellent. We have never had a bad meal there. On this occasion, our guests included my nephew, who is somewhat of an expert on wine, and he was most impressed with the house red and the Cote du Rhone we drank. It went down very well with the crispy duck which we also enjoyed very much.

Excellent evening all round. We had a wonderful meal, the service was great as was the food. Without doubt we will be going back and soon!

Good service, with an extensive menu and specials. House wine was very pleasant and food well presented. Enjoyable meal with a buzzing yet relaxed atmosphere.

Excellent food. We had the set menu which was very fairly priced and good value for money, although I felt the desserts were on the small side. The service was fast and polite as well. If you're having wine with your meal it's fairly easy to rack up a hefty bill even with the set menu so be warned!

We were a party of four and each had something different to eat.we were greeted warmly on arrival and seated promptly.Although the restaurant was busy our order was taken as soon as we had decided,the food was well presented hot and delicious.The staff were very friendly and attentive.A great evening with lovely food can't wait to go back.

Whilst the food itself was good, the fact I ordered a sirloin steak and was given a ribeye was one issue. It took 20 minutes to get the bill and pay despite numerous requests. A little more attention to detail and guests required.

Cote Brasserie in Clifton is a go-to favourite. The food and service are consistent and it is good for a quick lunch or a more leisurely meal with friends and family. The set menu is good value. We would recommend it.

Lovely restaurant, good decor, buzzy atmosphere, brilliant service and if that wasn't enough, the food was excellent. It was hard to make a choice from so many dishes on the menu. We'll definitely be going again.

Excellent menu and service, we really enjoyed our evening! This was a 50-year reunion with friends I studied with at Bristol University and our supper was an excellent start to our weekend.

Really good choice though out the menu and superb food accompanied by a good wine list. Service was at all times attentive,and staff were a pleasure :) 👍

The French breakfast is delicious and meal deal with fresh orange juice and coffee is great value. Service was a bit slow mid morning on a Sunday morning and we waited longer for our coffee than we would have liked but still a great place to eat great food.

The service was very friendly and the food was lovely. There was a great choice for different dietary needs especially gluten free. Would definitely recommend and we will be back!

A really fun evening with consistently good food and really excellent service from our delightful Italian waiter. He was brilliant. Also glad the tip now goes to all members of staff.
