The service was attentive and we weren't harried, and the food was excellent. Rather a large restaurant, compared to the others we've been to in the same chain. Nearly all the tables were taken which was not bad for a Monday night. They was a good atmosphere and diners were obviously enjoying their selves. Will go again.

The restaurant was busy but, despite that, the service was fairly good. I was taking advantage of a reward and my guest was to have had a free set lunch. However, allowance was made for 2 courses only, whereas I believe it should have been for 3. We both had 3 courses.

The service was very good, the food was excellent. Unfortunately there was a big lorry parked outside the restaurant blocking light in through the front windows - there was nothing the restaurant could have down about it , just a shame.

Usual friendly greeting and recognition. Excellent glass of wine. Very good starter, but a little disappointed with the crepes, which is why I scored 5 rather than 6. But basically just what I needed and wanted.

We very much enjoyed a relaxing lunch. We started wth a delicious, moist garlic bread and the main courses of this lunchtime menu did not disappoint. The haddock and pea puree was a delightful summery dish and my friends were happy with their chicken salads. We could not resist the lovely peach crumble which was a generous portion served hot with ice cream and my chocolate lover friend really enjoyed the chocolate pot - though she could have eaten double the amount! Overall, good value, quality food and service.

Excellent service as always. Choice of menus gives wide variety to choose from especially as we visit most weeks. Also wide choice of tables; we invariably select table 60 for space and quite.

Excellent breakfast, very enjoyable, fresh tasty ingredients. Great service, with individual attention to detail. Tables are a little small that's all. But will certainly return.

Cote brassiere in Clifton is a lovely place for a mid-week Summer dinner. Their early evening menu has lots of choice and offers great value for money. The service was good from the young and attentive staff.

Made to feel welcome, pleasent and attentive staff. First class food and wine choice. The meals we chose were well prepared and full of flavour. Our individual waitress was attentive to all our needs.

Food and service excellent, as always: Cote is quite remarkably consistent. Starters and mains very well prepared and presented. Staff pleasant and efficient. Muscadet very good value. But the level of background noise is very high.

Best constantly good bistro in clifton. I have been coming from the time you opened. Extremely good value, excellent staff although I thought Claudette your past manager was the best and most friendly and cooperative. I live in Westbury Park, near Henleaze, we really could do with a Cote on this side of clifton. Big catchment area and not a good restaurant to compare. Iris North

A very good menu, as always, and well presented food. Since the new restaurant has opened at Cabot Circus, the service here has often been rather slower than the past.

The staff, as always, were courteous and attentive, and the food was excellent. My only warning is about the level of noise from neighbouring conversations on a Saturday night!

Great food and good service. A little noisy but overall we enjoyed the evening and we would go again. The prices were reasonable and fair, given the quality of the cooking.

Excellent food , service and menu choices . Wine list average in width and fairly pricey . Best to request a table " up the stairs " as opposed to the ground floor which can be cold and noisy at times .

Gluten Free. Both the main course and dessert were unmarked the ice cream came with a biscuit, both courses were returned to the kitchen. Sadly not your usual standard, especially as after previous visits I recommended you to the official coeliac organisation.

Service and food were first class. Asked if our table would be in a quieter area. Told yes at present (6.30) but will become busy. The later volume from each table made it hard to continue our conversation.

We found the restaurant somewhat disappointing compared to previous visits. It was incredibly noisy inside so very difficult to have a conversation and the portion sizes were large and none of us could manage a dessert. I am not sure we will go again.

The welcome was friendly and helpful. The food was pleasant, we had between us lamb, herbed chicken and duck. All were nicely cooked, though the potatoes with the chicken were a little soggy in places. The choice of beers was a little limited, the French cider was a little dry, having to pay extra for vegetables was not ideal, but overall the meal was good enough value.

Always great food, good choice of specials and very attentive service - our favourite place to celebrate. The atmosphere buzzed tonight / always bustling and busy so not for couples wanting a quiet, intimate night out.
