Côte Bristol Clifton Village

As usual, our experience was first class. Good to see that Eva has returned from maternity leave [ just waiting for two others to return as well]. The duck was superb as was the ice cream that followed. Complimentary cocktails were the icing in the cake. Thanks to all for service, quality and atmosphere........ just great!

Our main course was served whilst we were still busily eating our starters. Staff tried to move our plates away to make room for the mains. We had not been lingering over the starters. The steak frites we had ordered was very tough and chewy. Would not visit again. Bill arrived with a 12% tip already added.

This restaurant is always my favourite, good service ,great staff and best of all great food in not too larger portions so can always eat three courses. Would strongly recommend but judging by the amount of customers they have each time we go no recommendation really needed

Always a great vibe at Cote Clifton. Serving staff are friendly, helpful & efficient. Quality of food is always outstanding and we have never been disappointed....hence our frequent visits with friends & family.

Great service and delicious food (I had the veal, and another guest strongly recommended the steak au poivre)- went for a meal to celebrate my university graduation, the restaurant was perfect with a relaxed take on a formal occasion.a relaxed atmosphere but equally appropriate for a formal occasion.

Always good, reliable food and service. Busy restaurant with good atmosphere, friendly staff. Can be a little noisy at times so prefer to sit on the higher levels.

We arrived 1/2 hour early and Cote was very busy but we were immediately welcomed and shown to our (reserved) table. Great atmosphere as it was University Graduation week in Bristol and families were celebrating. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and the food was a triumph. We both had plaice on a bed of basil mash with silver skin onion, wilted gem & peas for our main; Superb! Already planning a return visit.

It was a great way to celebrate the start of a colleague's maternity leave! Great service and a great choice of food and setting for us, close to work but far enough away.

Good meal with delicious sea bass and risotto dishes. Nice atmosphere for relaxing Sunday lunch in a buzzy restaurant and lovely friendly staff as always.

Not up to usual Cote standards. The mushrooms on brioche were ok but the cod was dry and the omelette was over cooked. The service was good.

Consistently good food and service. Menu varied and suitable for diners like me with food intolerances. Pleasant atmosphere, although can be noisy depending on where you are sitting.

Visited with my husband, sister & two close friends to celebrate my birthday. We had a lovely lunch. One of our favourite places to eat. Food and service is consistently good. The set lunches are excellent value.

Good atmosphere,helpful staff on a hot early evening with everybody enjoying the experience made for a very pleasant occasion.Good menu with plenty of choice and drinks served well.

Food was lovely, service was also great. The menu is on the pricey side but what do you expect when eating in Clifton. Facilities lovely.

This was probably my sixth visit: this Cote is consistently good with delicious food and cheerful, efficent service, even when the restaurant is packed at lunchtime.

We had a very friendly welcome and shown our table. We asked for water as it was a very warm evening. Unfortunately 1of our jugs of water was not very cold. We were also disappointed that the house bottle of rose wine was not available. However our chosen meals were all delicious and good value for money.

As always, quality of service plus friendliness and helpfulness of servers and staff all excellent. Food good too, but can only give a 5 this visit, due to the tuna steak on my Salad Nicoise being very thin and overcooked. Should be quickly seared both sides and pink in the middle - it wasn't! Disappointing

The good was fantastic but was held back by sub par service. On a Monday night in a near empty restaraunt you shouldn't be waiting 25 minutes for a starter.

The restaurant was busy and the service was extremely slow. We waited 35 minutes for our starters. By the time we came to puddings there were few people remaining but we were seemingly forgotten and had to attract the waitress's attention to come to take our order. My dauphinoise potatoes were dry. no doubt because this was the end of the lunch service and they had been prepared some hours before. Some offer should have been made to compensate us but this didn't happen.

Really good food, all fresh and a good choic of options on the menu. It’s definitely worth booking though as this one gets very busy.

Lovely warm friendly welcome on arrival at 6 30 pm on a Sunday evening Restaurant fairly busy but service excellent.Nice touches of complimentary water and beautifully laundered white napkins. Food was excellent beautifully cooked there were seven of us five adults and two children each of the adults having a different meal Chicken salad, goat cheese salad, veal escalope,fish parmentier and steak frites all delicious. Can’t wait to return!

We have been regular visitors to Cote Clifton since it opened and it never disappoints. The food is always delicious, beautifully presented and served by helpful, charming staff. Add to that the amazing value for money, especially the set menus, and they are hard to beat locally.

excellent breakfast as always! Good friendly service, hot plates,chilled champagne . Reasonably priced menu, plenty of choice, something for everyone. Not hurried off our table when finished eating.

Prebooked but on arrival had to wait for table to be cleaned and made ready. No chicken available. Duck quite tough. On reflection my score of 3 seems rather generous.

Thank you an excellent evening at cote Clifton. My only tiny tiny request would be for a little bit of chocolate with the lovely coffee? I don’t usually have desert as the portions are so generous, but would enjoy a ‘little something’ sweet with coffee. Some restaurants offer coffee and small desert portion as an option. Service and food excellent.

Cote is Always good value, has a varied menu with friendly and helpful staff. I have been to Cote on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed.

Visited with family to celebrate my birthday. Great food and excellent service as always. We enjoyed the new prestige menu, which was very good value for money.

Excellent from start to finish, great unhurried service and delicious food. Saturday evening and pretty busy but our food arrived promptly and it was well presented, we devoured everything!

Wide selection of food available to suit every taste across three different menus. First class service from the waiting staff. Everyone was really friendly. Excellent value.

Cote at Clifton Village is a hugely popular venue. It was busy, buzzing and the staff so attentive and helpful. Great atmosphere, although you had to speak loudly to be heard. Definitely visit again.

Cote Clifton will never cease to amaze me no matter how busy they are all the staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is always to their high standards
