Another great experience great food, nice wine and helpful staff
We thoroughly enjoy this restaurant hence the number of times we go there
As always at the restaurant the food was very good and the staff were friendly and provided a very good service. Another enjoyable meal out.
Very good. Everything was very tasty. Perfect customer service. Restaurant is localized in very nice area. Menu included information about extra charge for service. We will recommend this restaurant to our friends.
Lovely meal and good service as always and great value for money. We just keep going back as Côte is always consistently good. Highly recommended.
Four of us had different meals and they were first class. Well cooked ans presented Will come again Also the pricing and wine was very good. Thank you
Service good despite being a busy Sunday lunchtime. I had the belly port and my wife had a lamb shank, both cooked to perfection. would recommend
I ordered a lime and soda but with just a little lime. I was very impressed with how the waitress provided my drink by putting some lime in a little jug so I could mix the drink to my own liking.
Excellent dinner at Cote in Clifton Village. Two of us had the mouth watering tender lamb shanks, and a third person had the grilled chicken. Also delicious. We all had the apple tart in flaky pastry for desert - it had that authentic French flavour beautifully complimented by ice cream. Very good service, highly recommended.
The food was good, although 1 of our diners felt it was not hot enough. We had requested a quiet table, but it was actually very noisy.
Always a delight to eat at Cote Brasserie in Clifton Village. The service was both swift and friendly, the Manageress kindly checked on us and the picpol de pinet was cold and gorgeous!
Had a lovely meal, food and service good. My husband said that he felt cold where he was sitting, which was hard to understand as the place was full and I (with my back against the wall) was fine. At the end we realised that perhaps it had been the air conditioning unit in the ceiling which had caused the cold air flow. (A minor gripe, though, as the overall experience was very good.)
It was my daughter’s 16th birthday and a special family occasion. Cote had seen my note on the booking email and said happy birthday to my daughter which she loved. The food was delicious and service excellent. For her dessert they put a candle in her tarte au citron and wrote Happy Birthday in chocolate on the plate! An excellent evening thank you!
Quick service, lovely food and friendly staff! I would definitely recommend this restaurant I have visited both the Clifton and Cabot restaurants. I have never been disappointed. Overall really good experience l.
Great restaurant in a great little part of Bristol. Been there a few times and it does not disappoint. Service is excellent as is the food (pork belly is wonderful). The place also has a good atmosphere too. I recommend it.
Easy to book our table online , lots to choose from and lovely friendly service.. my only suggestion would be to maybe keep a draught beer...
Great atmosphere, delicious food and fantastic service. What more could you ask for? Thank you Côte 😊...we will definitely be returning for another French feast!
Very nice meal and excellent service. Would have got full stars but beans were almost raw! They were warm but had only looked at a frying pan and not steamed.
Although extremely busy due to Christmas parties our service was excellent, food was served promptly and was good. Menu choice was varied with good two course specials.
Great food; great service. My steak was a bit undercooked and they quickly gave it another go and comped me a glass of wine in the process, so who can complain?
Excellent Christmas menu and reliable service as usual . Busy evening but we were attended to and didn’t have to wait long between the courses .
Good meal but I object to having 12.5% added to the bill regardless of how the service has been. Leaves a bad taste after a good meal.
Good service and freshly cooked food Although extremely busy. Very good good and an excellent well priced wine list. A good atmosphere and comfortably arranged tables
despite being very busy the staff were attentive, and we had no long gaps between courses. Food excellent as usual. Noisy of course, but we had been put as far as possible from the office parties - which was appreciated as we are all over 60s!
3rd visit. Excellent service and food, despite it being the Xmas period. Staff professional and friendly. The fish pie was especially good. Would definately recommend.
Thoroughly enjoyed another great meal at Cote Clifton. Steak frite was excellent as were the moulds and the dark chocolate pot was the perfect finish to the dinner
Great service and food as always. This place never fails to impress me.
Despite the lack of Christmas decorations, we had a lovely evening! Our waiter was attentive, our table well located, the food tasty and quickly prepared. Just what we hoped for!
Excellent service, excellent food, extensive wine choice - never disappoints. We have eaten at Clifton Cote many times. We will return very soon . .
Booked at the last minute and arrived to find it absolutely rammed so we were a little anxious . But we were served quickly and the staff gave you no idea that they were so busy. The food was delicious and piping hot. We will definitely come back .
We arrived 10 minutes early so we were happy to wait whilst the table was vacated by the previous party. As there's no bar or other waiting area, we had to hang around by the entrance. It didn't bother us, but I think it might have been a little uncomfortable for people at tables in that area. In the event, the manager found us another table (as the booked party was over 15 minutes late) so we were only there for 5 minutes. Our waitress was friendly and delivered the whole delicious meal very efficiently.
Always good food and service. One of our favourite places to eat. Its always busy so booking essential. rib eye steak on this occasion was fat and gristly, otherwise a 6.
Excellent food, attentive service - would make an ideal venue to host a party especially in the upper level - Cote should promote themselves more aggressively as it has much to offer
Excellent food, value for money and fantastic service from the staff. The wine choices are very good and not over the top mark ups on them
Excellent staff and service. Food always delicious and good value for money. The restaurant offers a warm and relaxing ambiance and we always look forward to our next visit.
The staff were friendly and food really lovely. I know it is a bit cold at the moment but it was way too hot in the restaurant. The waiter was helpful in suggesting he would turn it off.
This restaurant’s service is second to none. It is situated near two prestigious high end restaurants in Clifton who should send their staff to the Cote training school - well done.
myself and my girlfriend visited cote on saturday 24th nov. we were warmly greeted and shown to our table straight away , we were actually given a choice of three even though it was busy.the service, drinks and food were excellent.our waitress justina was really friendly and made our visit even more special. i would definitely recommend this restaurant and will visit again.
This is a remarkably consistent, good value place, always perfect for special celebrations, "buzzy" - with great service and choice of food. We were taking friends as a pre-Christmas treat, and they loved the atmosphere, the rib-eye steak and the really nice staff.
Really very pleasant. Attentive service, and the Breton Chicken was perfectly cooked - tender and moist with a rich flavoursome sauce. The Pain Perdu was a little disappointing - somewhat lacking a distinctive flavour. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.
Excellent staff and service . Set menus give good value for money. We enjoyed the food and ambiance of the restaurant and look forward to visiting again shortly
Easy, elegant, French brasserie atmosphere, spacious and comfortable.Delicious food and wine and charming staff. We will be back. How to improve?Maybe a bit larger portions of vegetables but we really liked the evening.
Excellent as always. This restaurant is one of my favourite places to eat. Consistently good food and value. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for breakfast, lunch or dinner in Clifton
Excellent menu! Superb staff! Delicious food! Took two starving students and they ate everything! Certainly We will return! Extensive wine list with reasonable prices. Thank you!
Good service, tasty food and friendly helpful staff. I have nothing negative to say. I would recommend Cote Clifton to any one. Will be back again soon.
Great food, great venue, good parking and great service. Our waitress didn’t charge us for coffe because she was late with a couple of items. Unnecessary but a nice touch.
They really know how to cater for those with intolerances. Their gluten free menu is extensive and the service is also attentive but not too crowding. We had a lovely meal. It was rather noisy so consider this when booking around lunch times.
The food was good as usual. We had the Prestige menu and the chichen was delicious. Couldn't resist the desserts either. Only down side is that it is quite noisy.
Great service and great food. Been to this restaurant several times now and has been excellent every time. Menus change regularly so always something different to try.
Extensive menu and wine list. Excellent food quality and service even though the restaurant was completely full on a Saturday evening- Clifton Cote never disappoints
