overcooked steak - never been disappointed at Cote before but was this time

Excellent food and very good service on a bust day.

The food and service at Cote are always excellent. However, the absence of soft furnishings and bare hardwood floors means that noise levels are high and detract from the overall experience.

Always enjoy our visits and our food. Didn't seem the usual number of staff for a very full restaurant this time so service was a bit slower than usual but they were doing their best to cope.

Unusually slow service for a Cote. Major problem - one dish, when delivered to the table was inedible - a savoury ristotto, for some reason, sweet in flavour, as if sugar, rather than Parmesan, had been added during cooking. Dish replaced, but no apology or explanation offered and no awareness on the part of one sarcastic young man that these were necessary. To be fair, bill discounted, but staff attitude tarnished the experience.

My favourite restaurant ever have been known to go twice in one day.

Enjoyed our evening, restaurant was very busy which made a good atmosphere but it was very noise and we had to talk in raised voices .

The food was good although the goats cheese salad was uninspired. The atmosphere was lively and the service very good - friendly and attentive. A little expensive for what you received.

Excellent meal as usual. Service was a little slow but made up for with a very nice waiter. Very very busy and as a result noise levels were rather high making conversation difficult. Would always recommend.

We ate from the set menu. The food was prepared well and well presented, the wine list was varied with a good selection both white and reds.
