Always a very nice experience at Cote Bristol. Friendly staff, lovely food and efficient service. Only disappointment was the Mirabelle Tart - soggy pastry and fridge cold.

Lovely setting. We had 3 courses, calamari was lovely but too much garlic. Pudding was amazing.. but the service was so slow!! Plus it was so loud

Really enjoyed the food on the set menus. A surprisingly busy Wednesday evening seemed to impact on service; had to wait too long to get the bill at the end of the meal. Also a bit noisy.

We always enjoy dining/lunching at Cote. We have been going there since they first opened and have spent many happy times on our own, or with family and friends. We also as a rule go there just before we go away or like on this occasion just after we have returned. The staff are always so welcoming and work tirelessly to make any occasion a happy and pleasant experience. We are so lucky to have them on our doorstep. The food is always very enjoyable and if something is not quite right it is dealt with straightway. I hope they get rewarded well!!

Service efficient and quick. Food interesting and tasty. Noise levels a little high for conversation.

We had lovely soups to start with but the mains were tasteless and the apple crumbles were nearly cold. So as a whole we were disappointed. But the front staffs were very friendly. No wonder why they'ere not as busy as before.

A lovely evening, with excellent food, attentive service and a pleasant, almost French atmosphere. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were treated very well, and indeed the last thing said to us as we left was “ We hope you enjoyed your wedding anniversary.” We will definitely be coming again.

The food & service were very good. Pity that despite requesting a more intimate table weeks ago for our celebratory lunch, a large group with young children arrived shortly after us so noise levels were very high & it was almost impossible to hold a proper conversation.

A brilliant meal & brilliant afternoon. I had a wonderful afternoon with 16 friends & I have to say the food & service were perfect. All of meals arrived at the same time & I can not thank the staff enough for their friendly service. This is a great venue for friends or family.

I use the Cote restaurants quite often, Chiswick, St Albans, Windsor, Harpenden etc. Unfortunately on Sunday the pleasant waiter for our table was learning the ropes and he had no mentor as that person had gone home sick!!! The management did not think to replace the mentor and I think I'm right in say that the whole experience was not up to standard. My guests, 3 adults, left while I paid the bill. I had a reduction, but the management was poor, my name is Gill not Joe!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent service, friendly staff, comprehensive menu - all together an excellent evening. I have been on a Saturday a number of times and it is very busy and can be a bit noisy. This latest visit was earlier in the week and exceedingly good!

lovely as always! However.... I have a complaint which I have made before about Cote Brasserie - the staff make constant attempts to “ up- sell” ie: asking us if we would like bread, olives, coffee, etc etc, more drinks, etc. If we wanted them, we would ask for them. I really don’t like attempts to push us to order/ buy more things to eat and drink and it has a negative effect, not a positive one. The food is very good though, and my daughter always feels safe eating gluten free at Cote.

Lots of great choices from the a la carte and special menu. Wonderful service from all staff. Quality of food is the best.

Enjoyed the cocktail and the food was good. A good portion of haddock on a nice base - though too many potatoes for me. Brioche and butter pudding with ice cream was delicious. Staff were charming as usual. Just the right level of attentiveness

Nicely balanced set menu with good quality ingredients at an excellent price.

Great setting, good menu choice. Staff friendly. We ordered calamari to share and when it was on the table, we asked if calamari was dairy free and told yes. Waitress then returned to say she wasn’t sure so don’t eat it. Our guest who is lactose intolerant had already eaten a piece as we were initially told it was dairy free. We would have expected staff to check first if any uncertainty.

The usual great food which is consistent across the chain but the staff in this branch are particularly friendly and welcoming, a really nice evening.

Great communication when organising and booking our table. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. We all had a fab night for my 40th birthday.

We very much enjoyed our visit and meals. I expected nothing less although it was my first visit to Cote Clifton. I do, however, have a wealth of experience of the chain in London and the one in Brighton. As yet I have never been disappointed.

Had to attract attention to be greeted and seated aft err standing in the entrance for ages! Mocha Coffee sent back because it was not hot - replacement was a Latte! Finally got Mocha - still not very hot! No water offered - had to ask Vegetarian sausages Excessively flavoured with herbs. Overall disappointing and not worth the money

Excellent meal with a lovely buzz in the atmosphere. The crab mayonnaise was the highlight. Pleased at how considerate the staff were with my Mum's garlic allergy as she does get embarrassed talking about it. Would come again!

Lovely evening. Delicious food and great service. Very relaxing environment.

We were welcomed warmly and the woman that served us was really friendly and professional. The food initially came very quickly, but was a little slow with clearing after our starters. That being said the overall experience was great. We discussed the fact that the service and friendliness of the staff was much better than the London Cotes we’ve been to. The London teams could learn something from the cities outside London.
