Côte Bristol Clifton Village

We very much enjoyed a reunion with good friends in our local Côte restaurant in Clifton, and stayed until closing time! Great good value food and service from Côte, and fun had by all!

Lovely to enjoy the special offer of Crémant. The food was very nice and the service as good as ever, but our table was next to a very noisy party and we could not talk to our friends we were sharing the evening with.

My favourite restaurant in Clifton. Good food, excellent service and value for money but sometimes rather noisy.

We had a lovely meal, service was very good as was the food... only one thing of note... it was cold when the door opened and closed... and we were sat by the entrance way. I’m not sure how you could solve the issue, but others by the door were sat in their coats.. not the nicest way to enjoy a meal.

Excellent as always, a great restaurant in a great setting

Great service. Polite and fun staff. Excellent food. Sitting in the lower part of the restaurant and the acoustics were better. In the main restaurant the noise can be a little overwhelming at times. Highly Recommend this restaurant.

I always enjoy the food and service at Cote but am becoming more and more disillusioned with the Clifton location because of the noise levels. The venue needs some form of noise absorption material installed.

The food and service at Cote is always good and of a consistently high standard. The staff are friendly and helpful and customers are not rushed.

Usually have a great experience at Cote Bristol (Mall). This time was an exception. Terrible service, food took an hour from ordering to arrive. No bread offered, despite the wait. So we asked for bread and it took 15 mins to arrive. When food finally arrived a portion of fries was missing, only arrived when we chased. All main courses were warm rather than hot. Not good enough. We will not be returning I’m afraid.

Great food and service from the staff! Probably would have preferred a table in a quieter spot but it won’t stop me going again. We always have a lovely time whenever we go to Côte in Clifton Village.

The servers were very helpful and jolly. We were a party of 5 and without exception the meals were excellent and we all agreed that we had never had a poor meal at a Cotes.

We enjoyed a great evening at Cote Clifton. There was a really warm welcome from the staff which we appreciated. The service was excellent throughout..it was friendly, chatty and very efficient. The food was excellent..our fillet steaks were perfectly cooked and both starters and puddings were delicious. It was one of the best Cote meals we have had.

Lovely meal withfriends, we are regulars & as usual,Cote did not disappoint. It is busy & noise is the only issue,but that’s being picky.

We went here for breakfast and I couldn’t fault it! It was so tasty, with great service too!

The staff were brilliant, attentive but not too much so and the food was simply wonderful. All tastes around the table were completely satisfied.

We had a wonderful waitress who couldn’t have been more helpful and efficient and happy , don’t know her name but she comes from Latvia. Dinner was delicious

We took out our elderly parent, who struggles sometimes with noise, but the waiter/waitresses were amazing, we had a lovely evening out, could not fault the service of food. Thank you.

Have been to this restaurant a number of times and would not go back if I did not like it. Tend to go earlier in the evening to beat the rush because every time I have been there, the place gets full to capacity. It is inevitably going to a middle-class haunt (because of where the place is located) which, as a peasant and people watcher, I find very entertaining. The ambience is very nice. Creature of habit and I go for the pork belly as a main; this time it was not up to the same excellent standard as on all previous occasions but hey, it can't always be (very nice all the same). Service is absolutely great and well worth the automatic gratuity (you can opt out if you wish and if you are a cheap skate!) Cannot think of anything disparaging to say really. I will continue to patronize the place and highly recommend it.

Hard poached eggs, offered replacements but they were still not as runny as they should have been! Bacon overcooked and tough. Coffee cappucchino cups far too small therefore not milky enough to create foam and no chocolate top until asked for. My husband's americano far too strong and bitter. Waitress forgot to put an order in for another coffee for our guest. Ambience good but would not go back for breakfast again. Not memorable even though it was a celebratory occasion sadly.
