Had an excellent lunch. Restaurant was full with plenty of atmosphere
Excellent serve. Fantastic food. Good wine selection. Never disappoints. Cheers
Came in on Sunday 15th Dec. We were looked after well and not intrusively. Main course of Breton Chicken was superb and desserts to die for. Fantastic value for money.
Fantastic meal with great service. Loved it. The only disappointment was that they ran out of creme brûlée.
Very lively atmosphere as several Christmas parties going on but service was excellent despite being so busy. Food was lovely and good value
Great restaurant with a cosy atmosphere and very friendly staff
Had a great time and food and wine was excellent.
Amazing thank you will be back again as we usually are anyway!!!
Lovely meal super staff No waiting Freshly served Very busy with Xmas parties too
All good staff, ambience and, of course, the food. The pork tenderloin was delicious. I just wish I had room for three courses! We’ll be back again soon 🙂
As always lovely evening great helpful staff a real buzz well done
Good atmosphere. Lovely food. Overall a really nice experience! Would love to go again!
Not a great fan of where we were sat? A bit of a pinch point
Fab meal with friends ... great atmosphere! Buzzy!! Will be back 😊
We are so lucky to have this as our local spot for many different celebrations. It is always friendly and 'buzzy' with great food of a consistently high standard.
I was disappointed that the pork tenderloin was unavailable + the starter was missed from my order. Grateful that the manager offered a free dessert without asking, but overall the experience was lack- lustre.
Great experience and exceptional food and Lydia the hostess was absolutely fabulous and is a asset to your company .. will be visiting again for sure
Never had a bad meal here, good value for money. Love the lunch special!!!
Excellent food as always, convivial atmosphere and helpful and friendly staff. Thank you again!
We really like visiting Cote in Clifton but there is a slight problem on the first level with the noise level I usually, ask to not sit there but forgot yesterday
Lovely meal great service an altogether fantastic evening with friends
Beautiful food. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Couldn’t fault it. Thank you.
Lovely evening - waitress helpful and friendly, great food, restaurant appreciated the complementary kir for our wedding anniversary
Great client service. Dealing with gluten and garlic intolerance brilliant.
Delicious Christmas menu! We came for the duck confit and were not disappointed.
Good but not outstanding food. Mostly good service. A bit noisy. No WiFi signal so would be bad place to hold a business meeting or check on a babysitter!
Lovely meal thanks. Kind italian waitress and delicious food. Creme caramel was the best I've ever tasted and I'm getting on a bit...
Lovely meal. Great waiting staff, particularly the boy from Hungary
Great evening with good quality food - all of our party of 6 enjoyed it. Noise levels were high but to be expected in the festive season
The food and service were, as always, both great. It never disappoints.
Excellent food, ambience and service, l love dining at this place
Delicious food and very pleasant staff. Hard to find a quiet table for two.
Food good, given the restaurant is French based and wine is important to the French, I thought it poor when I asked the manger if she could decant the wine and she said that it was not possible, obviously your staff do not appreciate wine, a Chateau neuf du pape requires air!
Excellent food, service and company! Plenty of choice and advise when asked.
Took a long time to be seated. Kept being asked the same thing by a number of different staff. Most of the food was OK. Confit duck was raw but was removed from the bill.
Our waiter was a friendly polite chap who made the visit bearable along with the food. Although I did not enjoy my earl grey. Disappointed with the very slow service. I’d finished half my breakfast whilst waiting for a condiment. The hot drinks were not served til the end of the breakfast almost. Twice the waiter did notice and did check the delay. When We were clearly finished. no one came to ask if we needed anything more for over 10 mins. The staff were clearing tables as the rush had cleared near 1pm preparing for lunch. We had to then try and catch the attention of nearby waiting staff to ask for the bill which took its time too. When we made the reservation we had mentioned it was for a special occasion. This was not recognised. Disappointing as we had specially made the effort to go all the way over to Clifton as a treat. I would not have tipped personally but my son did as he is generous. I have patron aged both cotes and prefer the the Cabot Circus one now!
Spectacular evening. Outstanding staff, food, ambience and all round atmosphere.
Great food and excellent service, really paid attention to detail and our guest with a food intolerance really appreciated how professionally she was dealt with and with no fuss at all. Very impressed.
Cote has a good selection on the menu. It was busy when we went for lunch but service was efficient and staff were friendly.
Fabulous meal and the staff particularly Lydia were exceptional. To be honest the meal and service was better than at The Ivy Clifton last month. We will certainly book again
Thoroughly enjoyed our leisurely lunch at Cote today. We had pre-booked a table for four. A warm welcome and pleasant ambiance.
Always have a great evening at Cote. Lovely food and attentive service. Good value for money.
Service very slow and we asked for our main course several times. Not great I’m afraid
Really good food, our waitress was amazing! Thanks x e abilama
Excellent evening celebrating our mum's birthday. Great attentive and friendly service from our Italian waitress.
Having dismissed Cote Brasserie for many years as 'just another chain' I've been twice in three days, once to Exeter then to Bristol Clifton Village. On both occasions the service was exceptional. In Exeter my oldest friend (50+years) and I were out for a quick meal before a night out, food was prompt, delicious, delivered with a laugh and reasonably priced. In Bristol , my wife and I were taking our niece out for supper, we had a lovely evening, staff were exceptional. My Cassoulet was dried out and not good the other meals were excellent, rather than complain and ruin the evening I 'kept calm and carried on'. However our waitress immediately noticed and offered to replace it or give me a refund. I accepted the refund. First class. I'll be back again and again.
Nice food but far too noise. Not really able to talk and this spoilt the evening - very wary of going back
Excellent we had a round table as requested. Food and service consistently good.
A nice table, attentive staff and the usual high standard of food. What more is needed?
Excellent service from Isaac - very attentive without being overbearing. Lovely food, too.
