Wonderful evening with a great atmosphere. Excellent food and service. Nice to see a place so busy in early January.

Service was a little slow but understandable due to the number of diners at the time. The staff were very friendly and although our order was partly mistaken, it was soon put right in a very acceptable way without us having to point it out. Good atmosphere and a venue to return to in the near future.

We just love Cote and come as often as we can. The food is always excellent, and the service efficient and friendly. We had a particularly lovely welcome on a cold, dark and wet night and I noticed that the lady was just as nice to everyone who came through the door. it makes such a difference!!!! Top marks all round.

Our first visit this month was as special as ever other visit at this special wonderful local restaurant. Staff as fabulous as ever, not to mention superb food. With a special monthly voucher for a special price, two courses for £9-95 this was truly a BARGAIN !!! Look them up on the web. Thanks to Hannah and all staff on duty. BRILLIANT.

Staff brilliant ! Busier than expected but still fine . OBE guest food was cold but replaced swiftly and the perfect . Always a good experience overall but front of house staff exceptional !

Overall we had a very nice evening. The parsnip soup was delicious. I had the French cottage pie for after. I thought it was a bit tasteless and was disappointed with its size. it could have done with another vegetable but the price of the sides were, I thought, cost exclusive. £3.95 for a tiny bit of creamed spinach an absolute rip off as far as I am concerned

A very relaxing set lunch and the most delicious soup I've had there, parsnip, potato,leek and cream with chives.

We chose Cote as we were taking friends from Australia and we knew it would be reliably lovely. It was.

Once again, a very enjoyable meal with friendly and efficient service. The manager went out of her way to enable us to redeem our complimentary fruit cocktails which we had forgotten to 'click on' when booking our table!

Standard maintained and staff prepared to go the extra mile. A lovely start to 2020, Cote Clifton can always be relied on.

We were celebrating News Years Eve. The food as always was of a high standard and staff were helpful and friendly. it was a little lacking in atmosphere as most people left before midnight. We still had an enjoyable evening.

Lovely visit with quality food and fast service, wanted a quick meal with parents and that’s what we got. Set menu great price and generous portions. As always a great visit, could not fault.

As always a well presented tasteful meal. But the free non alcoholic cocktail was a disappointment - tasted more like a medicine for an upset stomach!

My partner and I had a great time yesterday, the food was excellent and service by our waiter was superb. He was charming and most attentive. We have eaten with you many times and never had any problems. Will definitely visit in the future.

One of our party of four had a poor meal. His fillet of beef was off and although we were offered a complimentary drink and not paying the supplement for the steak, the experience of the evening was ruined.

As always a superb meal - being New Years Eve the restaurant was full and buzzing, service was impeccable and the food delicious. Will definitely return next NYE.

Decided on a change this year from a dinner dance and decided to have a meal at Cote. Didn’t regret our decision and will do it again.

Unfortunately my friend and I were disappointed with our evening. We had to prompt for our drinks order which you kindly didn’t charge us. My ravioli was rather tough and unfortunately my friends apple tart was cold and inedible. We are regulars at cote but we would definitely have preferred your normal menu. We did not feel that it represented Cotes normal good quality food which we have always enjoyed previously.
