The four of us had a brilliant evening. Excellent food and service. It was lovely for me to have a dedicated vegetarian menu as opposed to the usual take it/leave it option at most restaurants. The wine we chose- a Sauvignon Blanc - was sublime. Many thanks to all the staff, we will be back.

We went to Cote Clifton for a late breakfast/brunch. A lovely experience. All staff were really helpful and friendly and the food was delicious! My husband asked for a well done fried egg with his English breakfast and I requested lightly poached eggs, as on my previous visit, the eggs had been a little too well done for my taste. All food came as requested.

Food was ok, chose the wrong starter, my fault, presentation was great but I didn’t enjoy it. Sirloin steak was just ok, I’ve had much nicer ones, seemed to have a lot of gristle. Just think I had an off night with choices, everyone else enjoyed theirs.

A lovely experience. I was a solo diner, but was offered a table for four by the window, despite being very busy. This means a lot when you are dining alone, and shows how Cote values its customers. Each member of staff who served me, from the manager (I assume) to the waiting staff, where friendly and charming. The food was fantastic, and the wines perfectly matched. Thank you, Cote; as a Mancunian abroad, I shall be returning.

Very enjoyable. The restaurant was very full and coffee and the bill took a reminder to be activated. That said the food was very good.

Picked the tuna salad, disappointed with the dish. Lots of greens lack of potatoes - normally pick from 2 course and have never been disappointed before.

The menu was very varied, surely something for everyone. The serving staff are exceptional. The food was excellent and good value.

Our waitress was very nice and helpful but vanished towards the end of our meal. We called to a couple of others to pay and were ignored. So I went to pay at the till. My salmon was forgotten so the others were eating whilst I waited. When it arrived it was so well done it was crusty . Our desserts were all good. To summarise, our experience at Cote was not as good as other occasions.

Nice atmosphere, good service. Very buzzy for a weeknight, no doubt due to excellent early dinner menu offering great value for money. We certainly didn't feel at all rushed so thank you. Will return.

Food was good and as expected - asked for a different table and was given it. Waiter helpful but missed a number of things and could have been more attentive. Plenty of other helped out.

Great atmosphere, Staff were fully conversant with all the items on the food & wine menus, their ingredients, and gluten free food. The food was served by the waiters and waitress holding the plate with a napkin before presenting to the table and the food was piping hot. The staff are all very tentative to detail, very polite and courteous. My wife and I had a most wonderful evening and we'll be returning for some more fine dining. Thank you all.

Good prawn gratin and sea bass but my partner’s crab mayonnaise and duck confit was a little bland. I will be back though!

Saturday night dinner with starter of smoked salmon and main of filet au poivre. Every bite was perfection. An excellent meal, perfectly cooked with great staff and a wonderful atmosphere.

A delicious lunch for 17 of us. So well organised.

We’ve been here a few times before and love the relaxed but professional atmosphere. Both my husband and myself enjoyed our lunch very much. The food was delicious and full of flavour, my cocktails were very good and the staff were attentive without being intrusive.

Excellent value breakfast, in very pleasant restaurant, shame baked beans isn't an option on menu.Otherwise lovely.

The food was very good but the service was unfortunately very cold. A little friendly service goes a long way. Also the menu hasn't changed for some time. Variation is much needed and we would dine with you more frequently.

Enjoyed a fabulous meal with my husband last eve .... great food and lovely buzzy atmosphere!

Normally I would give 6 stars but when I came in with 6 of my friends for breakfast on Saturday the coffees 2 of my friends had were not hot. They didn't complain. The food was not as hot as usual. One meal arrived at least 5 minutes, maybe longer, than the others. The waitress kept forgetting to bring things that we had requested. The opinion on the table was that she must have had a late night and had a hangover. The difficulty for me is that I recommended you to all my friends and I was so disappointed.

What a great meal! Stormy weather outside - but inside the restaurant was buzzing. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food was excellent - the February Specials dishes were amazing. The restaurant was full but the service was quick and helpful. We all had a great evening and we're looking forward to going to Cote again in March.

Good food at excellent prices. I’m a regular here and at the Bath branch.

Now that the baffles have been fitted the noise level has improved. There are still many noisy hen parties, but you can't do anything about that! How do we redeem or use the points that one accumulates? Cote Clifton Village is our local and it would be interesting to know!

There were 4 of us and we thought the service and the food was excellent both in terms of quality and value.
