Lovely evening for a family get together. Staff really helpful and friendly. Unfortunately had to wait for quite a while for our meal.

Easy, but professional atmosphere. Food exactly what you expect, and service is delivered with a smile.

Overall, very pleasant. The food was nicely cooked and arrived in good time despite the restaurant being quite busy.

Really enjoyable breakfast, tasty and well cooked. Lovely atmosphere that wasn’t too loud. Service was exceptional. Our waitress was warm, chatty and very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

When I booked I said I was dairy free but when I asked for a coffee with dairy free milk they had to go out and buy some so a bit disappointed

It was our anniversary and the staff made it special. We had a complimentary bottle of wine which was a lovely thought. The food was great, though the chicken was a bit crispy around the edges (maybe it was meant to be like that 🤷‍♀️) the sauce was superb. Overall, a lovely evening.

Lovely food as always and charming staff....very long wait for food this evening. Unusual and made it a very long evening! Short staffed? Also incredibly noisy, i feel quite exhausted battling against the groups of people around us!

Very enjoyable lunch, considerate and helpful staff especially as one of us suffer from food allergy.

Great food but service is very slow. That’s not a huge issue as we weren’t in a rush but it affected food. Two dishes were served several minutes before the rest. We waited for ages before dessert finally came and the coffees that we had also ordered came 25 minutes after that. 3 1/2 hours in total. Great food but some tightening up of service needed.

Excellent food and drink as always. Wonderfully it was quiet - just couples dining and no noisy groups. Service was rather slow. Iwas told that this was because you were missing two member of staff.

The food was excellent, well presented and lovely selection . Did have to wait quite a while for our drinks though, hence the 5/6 star rating. Would definitely have lunch there again.

Very expensive night for two people The bill was not right and I think the waitress didn’t give us enough information about the food When ordering We did ask She said the steak would be a little while because they were busy so we ordered bread we didn’t really want Brought the wine no glasses on the table then no ice in the bucket

Hi we were celebrating my wife's birthday yesterday with my 2 sons as stated.when we arrived we were seated straight away. After 20 minutes or so we were asked for our drinks order.after that we gave our food order.i had mussels for starters which were very smelly and didn't taste great ,I pointed this out to the male waiter who took my plate to the chef who said they were fine,I have had many mussel dishes before which didn't smell or tasted as bad.the smell upset me and my wife ,soon later my wife was feeling sick and became sick in an ice bucket next to our table .we didn't manage to finish our meal.and called our lift and paid fully before leaving.Today all I can say my wife is feeling a little better but I have had an upset stomach all day.Looking back my wife's birthday was ruined and we are all very upset and we will see were we go next .

The onion in the onion soup was burnt, the mussels were very small, the tenderloin of pork hard a hard burnt exterior, the chicken was burnt on the outside. Did the chef think it was Guy Fawkes night? We've eaten better here in the past, or (on this showing) we would not have returned.

I ordered from the gluten free prestige menu, unfortunately my first two courses came out without the normal gf flag, and although the waiting staff checked with the kitchen that the meals were gf, I am currently now at home, quite poorly, stomach cramps and more, so o can only assume that there was gluten somewhere in the food, or possible cross-contamination. Such a shame

Excellent lunch, Breton Fish Stew was delicious as were the Crepe with cointeau and orange. The blood orange Martini was a very nice complimentary accompaniment. As always the service and ambience was extremely pleadant.
