At last a good restaurant in Bournemouth, long overdue. Good food at realistic prices, freshly cooked, we would not go anywhere else, the Cote restaurants never disappoint and we have been to many all over the country.

Waiter serving us and manageress extremely on the ball. Catered wonderfully for two gluten free diners in the party. Lovely food. Great location. Many thanks.

Staff and service great as usual. A bit disappointed with the new Cote du Boeuf. It takes a while to eat and it becomes cold on the serving dish before your can finish it. Wouldn't order this again.

Our first visit to this branch. As always with Cote the service and welcome was excellent. I don't like having to say this but the food was a little disappointing. The cod was somewhat chewy and the beef could have been hotter, although it was very tender. The crepe flambe soggy in the middle, no doubt due to the fully melted ice cream and the outer was cold and crisp - probably not helped by the delay caused in three abortive attempts to set light to the alcohol. Without my asking, the restaurant deleted the charge for the crepe, as ever the efforts to please were outstanding. Perhaps the kitchen is still getting used to it's new environment. The experience in no way affects my opinion of Cote and I continue (usually) to sing it's praises.

Good ambiance and pleasant smiling service. However the food was disappointing - my pork belly was quite tough, although the glazed carrots were excellent. Wife's Cassoulet was too spicy. Deserts were terrible, apple tart and the crepe, both dry and leathery. The only upside was the free bottle of wine although this was pretty mediocre quality. May not bother with Cote again,

We had a fantastic night at this restaurant. The food was excellent, service was very speedy, waiting staff were very efficient and the prices competitive. Will certainly be back!

The restaurant is pleasant and well laid out with great service . Unfortunately I felt could have been better. It was quite basic and very simple things done badly.

Excellent mean and friendly staff. Menu is the same as elsewhere - you know what you are getting. Party of 11 with different tastes - all easily accommodated from the menu. A good addition to the Bournemouth restaurant scene.

Nice food and decent service. Our table was tuck in a corner which made it more difficult to cathc the eye of the waiting staff. Perhaps a different table would have been better. Best creme caramel I've had though!

We received a friendly welcome. The food was nicely cooked and presented. We didn’t have to ask for the complimentary wine which was offered when I booked. Overall it was good food, lovely service and great value.

Staff very friendly and obliging from the moment you enter the restaurant. Meals up to the normal Cote restaurant high standard. This particular restaurant is a little noisy due to the decor, no good for a quiet romantic evening but I was with the wife so it was fine haha.

Cote Brasserie is in my opinion, a welcome addition to the Bournemouth restaurant range. Unfortunately my last visit was disappointing. A crab starter turned out to be more of a mousse and tasted more of cucumber than crab; at something like £8.00 plus, poor value for money. Having enjoyed cod goujons on 4 previous occasions, including twice during the initial opening phase, I selected them once again. The quality of the cod gourjons on this occasion, was very poor indeed. The supervisor changed the dish immediately, but the second offering was no better than the first. I actually cut the gourjons open to demonstrate how dried up they were and devoid of fish. The supervisor informed me that the head chef was off that night but assured me he would draw the complaint to the senior catering members. On the credit side the service was once again exemplary. The supervisor took everything off the bill, including the drinks which i was prepared to pay for. I will be returning and hopefully the standard will be back to how it started during the opening period.

Good food, friendly and attentive staff. Having taken our order, we were subsequently informed that one of our mains was no longer available, but the staff handled the conversation in a professional manner and ensured our birthday meal was not spoilt.

The restaurant is very, very noisy - decor is harsh with no sound absorption. Service was attentive and very helpful. They found us a quieter table for which we were grateful. Food was ordinary. Crab starter tasted of spring onion too much. Onion soup fair but no more than that. Steaks were ok though the meat was not as tasty as it could be. Cod Goujons were not delicious - a bit dull. Overall, service 6/6, food 3/6, ambience 1/6 - the place is nice but noise level makes conversation too much like hard work.

Friendly staff gorgeous food. Tables not close to others so plenty of room. The only thing which would be ideal is a bar area so you can have a pre drink before sitting at your table.

It was a birthday meal, I called an hour before we got there to arrange a birthday plate to arrive after the meal (as a surprise),we waited and waited, it never came. The mains had to go back to the kitchen as they were cold and the fish was dry. Wasn't really happy with the table they gave us, no privacy. Expectations should be exceeded, especially for a special occasion and I left feeling really disappointed, more about the Birthday plate than anything else. Aside from these complaints the restaurant, staff and food was excellent.

My friend and I have been to your Hampstead, Sloane Square. Turnham green terrace, Oxford and now Bournemouth. We always go to Turnham Green when we are on Chiswick. What can I say. My friend has spent a lot of time in France and we thinks the food is fantastic. Very good portions and great variety. Had a lovely day to day in Bournemouth. Excellent service and lovely staff. Will always come again. Thank you all.
