The prawn starters & crepes desserts both came out tepid and apparently they are experiencing problems with a new air-conditioning system. The desserts were replaced but still not really hot enough. On the plus side the free kir royales were most welcome and the belly pork mains came up hot and very tasty.
Service and meal were good, however the desert was a little over cooked. When asked if we enjoyed the meal, I mentioned it and it was immediately refunded. We were impressed!
The food & atmosphere in Cote is lovely, I’ve been there twice now & cant fault it! The price for a 2 course lunch is good value at £11.00!
Great venue lovely staff excellent set menu definitely worth a visit this is my second time now in a week will return again shortly as I live in the area
Superb meal! I have used Cote many times before but this was my first experience at Bournemouth. I will be back!! Praline crepe desert is amazing
Great food, great staff, would happily go back time after time. Will tell all my friends and family about the place without doubt. Keep the good work up!
Very pleasant atmosphere with polite staff and good value food. Wine a bit pricey though. We chose the special menu as we believed it would be served in good time for our ballet evening.
Delicious meal and charming staff. I mentioned to our waitress that my haddock dish was rather salty. They offered to exchange it but I said it was ok, just wanted to let them know.
Central location, nice layout ( ask for table upstairs). The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable but above all the food is good and sensibly priced. Same standards apply in all their restaurant's.
Service and food both adequate but not an outstanding visit this time. Feeling underwhelmed to be honest! Also quite expensive and 12.5% gratuity added to bill.
We had a lovely meal (set menu), all guests had something different & we all thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you for the Kier Royal offer.
Excellent food and service. One of our party required a gluten free and dairy free meal and was immediately provided with a special gluten free menu. The manager personally took the order and checked with the kitchen to ensure items were also dairy free. The staff could not do enough to help. We will be back.
Excellent service from our smiling server. The food was good. the decor is just about OK - already looking a bit tatty. The ambience is quite poor. Good value.
Great location. Service was excellent and the food was of great quality. Overall great experience.
Good food but a bit busy today, Mother's Day. Wasn't to happy with the table position close to the servers desk. Looked like they had squashed a few extra tables in. Staff very polite.
Food could of been hotter, staff need to pay attention to the customers order as ordered four meals but she only took orders for two people although we were compensated for this.
Lovely food and very pleasant staff considering it’s mothers day and the restaurant is full all day. This is our 3rd visit and always happy when we’ve finished.
Brekkie menu was amazing choice . The full English was small but every mouthful had a punch of flavour . Brilliant service as usual well done we will be back
Very enjoyable and relaxing evening, nice food but sadly we were charged for our free bottle of wine however when highlighted this was quickly rectified by our waitress.
Good food and portion sizes and very nice friendly staff. I felt the restaurant had a good atmosphere and was nice and clean and welcoming - would certainly visit again.
Superb meal and the service has vastly improved- with the deal it was at a very fair price - I love this place and the delicious food
Staff terrific as always One meal, mushroom crepe, was very overdone and rather disappointing Could steaks be marked in some way to avoid confusion as steak continues to cook and so ends up more ‘done’ than desired
Went there for my daughters 21st Birthday the food and the service were both excellent. My daughters dessert had happy birthday in chocolate on the plate and the waiter brought her a complimentary Tia Maria coffee
Was offered olives and bread before our meal, received only olives. Chicken leg, and chicken fillets over cooked and dry. Apple crumble, waited to long. Asked if we could cancel, because of time, and told she would have to ask manager how long it would be.!! Very disappointed, because we have had better service at other times.
The crocque monsieur did not live up to expectations of a French Brasserie. Poor bread, not much ham, wet cheese not well filled or finished, left loads of bread.
Wonderful meal and very attentive staff as always today. As ever Gluten Free choices where many. Always enjoy the atmosphere in here too. Very friendly.
Customers who arrived after us were served before us. The pea soup starter had far too much added pepper. We object to the 'voluntary' 12.5% added service charge. This new Cote restaurant is conveniently located with nice decor.
A small hiccup receiving our Cote Reward Kir Royale but soon resolved and the drinks much appreciated. Not many fellow diners but that didn't spoil our enjoyment of our meals - I chose the chicken walnut and avo salad followed by creme caramel - both excellent as always. Good service from our Lithuanian waiter.
I probably visit this restaurant every couple of months. It is consistently excellent. The staff are friendly. The food is always good. The wait for food is just spot on.
Staff were very friendly and attentive, food was of very good quality and served promptly. Background music could have been a little louder on the first floor. Overall s very good experience.
We were welcomed when we arrived and the whole experience was a delight. Food tasty and well presented and staff exceedingly professional and friendly. Will speed the word!
Very good. Quality service throughout, very attentive staff and would definitely recommend to anyone for any occasion. Top stuff. Excellent atmosphere and very good value
We went for Valentines Day. The restaurant is new to our town but we have been to otheres before and this one compared very favourably. The set menu offered a good variety and the food was well cooked and presented. We opted for the paring menu so we had a vriety of wines with our meal. Would we go again? - Yes.
The food was good and it was apparent that fresh ingredients were used in its preparation. The experience was enhanced by the excellent service and relaxed atmosphere.
Convenient for shoppers, close to the Pavilion and Winter Gardens, this Cote maintains all of the standards of this most excellent chain of restaurants. Highly recommended
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Food really good and excellent value. I had Moules and my son had Fillet Steak, both cooked perfectly. The staff picked up on the fact that it was my sons Birthday and presented his delicious crepe with a candle. Lovely gesture without the unnecessary fuss and attention of music and sparklers, which we hate. Lovely bright but comfortable environment. Definitely, recommend this restaurant.
We enjoyed a tasty meal at the new Cote Brasserie in Bournemouth, the staff were attentive & friendly and the service efficient. Would definitely recommend and will return.
We had fabulous service from the Italian lady - sorry we don't know her name. Excellent food and service. Two comments - it would be nice to have bread with the French Onion Soup and it was disappointing that there was no greens with the Minute Steak as it says on the menu
Lovely food, good service & great ambience. I had beef bourginon. Although it was lovely I thought it was expensive particularly as you have to pay extra for sides. Also thought it could have had more meat & less salt. Same about the dessert. I had banana crepe. Lots of chocolate sauce but only 4 small slices of banana. More banana expected.
Food was EXCELLENT!! Staff were attentive and we had a fabulous evening. Must have the creme brûlée it is to die for. Will be back again soon.
I cannot praise this restaurant highly enough - food, service, decor, ambience and value for money all outstanding. Cotecare good generally but I think the Bournemouth one is actually the best, certainly of thosebranches ive been to.
Friendly and attentive service, not a wide range of dishes available (some had run out) but the dish we chose was delicious. Didn't wait long and the bill was perfectly reasonable. We are regular customers usually in Bath (but we still don't like the automatic 12% tip added to the bill).
Another excellent and delious lunch, served by friendly efficient staff....can highly recommend this new additional Bournemouth restaurant for its location ambiance and quality of food.
Great meal and good waiting staff as usual. We had the February set menu which represented excellent value for money, just love that menu changes every month.
This was my second visit to Bournemouth Cote, and service and food was excellent as always.this is always the case in all Cotes that I have visited.
Nice atmosphere and excellent service. Food not quite as good as first visit. Mussels a little over cooked, crepes (light main) had too much cheese and monkfish either undercooked or not so fresh.
As usual, the food and service were both excellent and the atmosphere was perfect. Nicely laid out with staff who cared without being too intrusive.
My request for a table downstairs in a corner (two of our party are elderly and hard of hearing) was met. The staff are always cheerful and attentive. Just a shame there was no brioche and pate - my husband’s favourite Cote first course - at start of service on a Sunday lunchtime.
For a chain restaurant, Cote is very expensive - however you forget it is a chain once you are inside as the food is incredible. Sadly on our visit they had run out of creme brûlée!
Excellent service and lovely food. Slightly pricey for quantity but just about worth it. Nice restaurant. £45 for 1starter, 2 mains and 2 glasses of wine.
