Côte Bournemouth

Returned for a pre-Christmas lunch. Two of us ate from the festive menu and one from the a la carte. Started with expresso martinis & garlic bread, followed by prawn cocktail which came with an unexpected avocado puree (! 🤔 ) and one beetroot salad. After this we had the Breton fish stew, turkey and pork belly all amazing dishes, with a bottle of red. This was followed by mont blanc desserts and a bottle of bubbles. The staff were efficient, discret & knowledgeable, better service here than in the Oxford restaurant. We will return

Returned for a birthday meal. Sat outside on the terrace outside in brilliant sunshine. As ways the food was lovely but beware of avocado turning up in dishes unexpectedly. We will return

Four of us enjoyed another lovely evening in Cote Bournemouth. We had great service and great food. We had to order from the gluten free menu which was done without any fuss.

Lovely choice of food especially for those who need Gluten Free food, feel very safe here with their knowledge of Allergies.

Our only complaint was the air conditioning made it quite chilly. I understand that extra ventilation is required due to covid, but it was a bit excessive. Food, wine & service were excellent. You can always rely on Cote for a lovely evening.

Whilst the food was pleasant, the welcome and attention was not a patch on our local cote in Lewes

First time dining out since lockdown release and was so looking forward to trying the set-menu which looks very tempting. Unfortunately, forgot the set-menu is only available during the week and this was a Saturday. Overall enjoyed the meal, though the chicken was quite dry, everything else was fine.

Lovely breakfast, came for my girlfriends birthday. Staff were friendly and attentive and gave us both a birthday drink on them!

Very nice lunch on Xmas eve. Husband & son chose from the festive menu I chose from a la carte all the dishes were delicious & well presented. The waiting staff were charming excellent service without being over attentive. Cote Bournemouth team you should be very proud of the service you give we will definitely be back....tiers permitting!!

Lovely breakfast as always, you go that extra mile every time Having recently undergone cataract surgery, bright light is a problem but helpful manager managed to find me an alternative shady table - well done! My only observation is that I wish you could serve coffee in a pot or similar - one single cup does not last through a substantial breakfast. We were so disappointed to have our Boxing Day lunch cancelled due to the restrictions - please hurry back!!

Today, 23rd December 2020 my Mother & I & my two daughters ages 21 & 18 visited Cotes Brasserie Bournemouth. We chose the Christmas Lunch Menu with wine Pairing. We also ordered the Espresso Martinis. The choice of food is vast. We chose 2 x French Onion Soup and 2 x Gravadlax as starters, 3 steaks & frites with a side of green beans, and 1 x chicken wrapped in Bacon, for Dessert we chose 2 x Chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream, 1 salted caramel cheesecake and 1 Buche Noel. The food quality, presentation and service & ambiance is first class. Highly recommended. Thank you for a most enjoyable experience. Mrs Dawn Maughan.

We came on 21/12/2020 and had dinner. The servers were attentive, helpful and they were very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious and there was a great range of options. We had a lovely evening and would definitely return.

Staff seemed unaware that there was a Festive menu! Eventually it arrived (with food stuck on it - eeek!) Food was usual high standard but main course wasn’t hot enough and neither was the coffee. Not quite the lovely experience I’ve always enjoyed at Bournemouth Cote.... and I’ve been a regular and loyal customer from the very first day it opened. Maybe back to normal next time?

Always perfectly cooked food with professional courteous and friendly service. The atmosphere is calm ambient and you can enjoy conversation whilst good tasteful music in the background is complimenting the atmosphere. One of only a handful of top restaurants in the area and top of our list for dining out . Never lets us down.
