Overall, slightly disappointing. My wife had the 3 course Christmas menu. It was good. My Beef Bourguignon was distinctly average. The "steak" was dry and crusty. I suggest symptomatic of being kept warm for a considerable time. It was served without any vegetables? To charge £3.35 extra for a portion of peas I thought unreasonable.

As always the food, staff and atmosphere at your Bournemouth restaurant were excellent. We will be back for more.

Party of 8, table was ready. Serving staff were friendly and efficient. Impressed that the food came quickly and was delicious. The fixed menus are good value considering the quality of the food. We had a great experience. Even though it’s a chain, they work hard to make it feel as if it’s not.

We held a birthday party for 21 quests with a variety of dietary needs. The staff were friendly and efficient and even helped to delay the service when some guests arrived late. Particular attention was made to ensuring that children's meals were brought out first without us having to ask. Also anyone with specific dietary requirements was discreetly catered for with drawing any attention to them and everyone received the correct meals in a quick and efficient manner. I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant for group bookings.

Always excellent service with good choice of menus. I really wish that I could be served with a reasonable sized cup of coffee - or even a top-up - especially given the comprehensive nature of the breakfast.

On arrival we were greeted and quickly seated. The waiter was pleasant and helpful in explaining the various menu options. We ordered wine which arrived promptly. The wine was medium priced and of good quality. The starters arrived French Onion Soup and Hot Beetroot Salad both very good. Main Courses Rib Eye Steak and Medallions of Pork Filet we’re both very enjoyable and nicely cooked. Desserts, Chocolate Mousse and Creme Brûlée were also very satisfactory. The only negative was having to wait a long time to pay the bill despite requesting it twice. Eventually got up and asked again which was then presented. Bit annoying! Despite this a pleasant dining experience.

Great food and service. Moules and frites a must along with a bread basket.

Very good value for money despite the 12.5 % service charge.

Excellent, relaxing supper for four. We all chose different items from the various menus and everyone was delighted with their choice. An ideal start to our evening to see the Christmas lights in the Lower Gardens.

Me and girlfriend went on Saturday. The mushroom risotto was perfect and Creme brûlée was not too sweet. Great restaurant and. Great value for money.
