Excellent as always. Pork loin specially good. Also the steak was perfect

We have never had a disappointing meal at Côtes and this was no exception. In particular, I'd mention the superb Guinea Hen Ballotine that had been roasted with a pork and wild mushroom stuffing, sautéed potatoes, baby spinach, garlic, parsley, and veal jus-quite outstanding and amazing value.

Excellent, food was very good, coupled with quick, efficient service, reasonably priced and a comprehensive glutton free menu. Well done Bournemouth we will definitely be back for more family celebratory meals.

Wow, what a fantastic experience! A warm welcome, surprise complimentary Kir Royale to celebrate our daughter’s 21st birthday, wonderful service and delicious food. This is why we return to Cote time and again. We love how welcome they always make you feel and how we know food will always live up to expectations. Thank you for a memorable and happy lunch!

Not as good as usual. Main course was badly cooked, however the staff adjusted the bill...I’m happy with the outcome.

The fougasse starter was a bit hard but the lamb cutlets were excellent. As usual the service was very good and your offer of a free bottle of good wine was much appreciated.

Excellent everything (service, ambiance, value) - except you still fail vegans. Vegan starters. The frisé and pear salad was excellent as always - the dressing is light and very good. On Friday when we return will have the blood orange starter. Why no vegan soup? Friend had big bowl of lentils with red peppers (skin on - so she left them). I had a big bowl of what looked like baked beans with artichokes. Both were tasty, but needed eg a sausage with. Crazy, who can eat such a big portion of pulses! Dessert as always - only sorbet available. Boring. Why do you not say on the early evening menu ‘Any vegan/veggie item can be ordered from the A La Carte menu at the offer price. Your Head Office have previously agreed this with me, yet there is always a discussion with serving staff about this!

Great restaurant and great January offer. Fish was a little dry but I ate the lot.

We always love the menu, it's variety and taste. An added plus is its value for money which we are unable to find elsewhere! Keep it up, and we will be repeat customers always! One thing I do not understand is the review on "Noise Level". More stars mean more noisy or less stars mean more noisy! I am putting my bet on the latter.

A great atmosphere, with very friendly staff and Fantastic service. All three courses were delicious especially the mussels and beef stroganoff. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good night out, with great food.

Food and service was excellent. Unfortunately we were seated near someone conducting an interview and making work calls. Spoilt the atmosphere.

A really excellent Meal. Service impeccable ,friendly and efficient. Our first visit this year but we shall be back! Simple choices Sardine and grilled chicken breast but perfectly presented and cooked with real flavour and a delight to savour.

We had a family lunch which was very enjoyable. The staff were very nice, but the service was very slow. We waited almost an hour for our food.

Good ambience, professional accommodating staff. Food is good value, there is a wide variety of dishes to suit all tastes. Enjoyable experience always.

There appeared to be shortage of waiting staff when we visited which made service too slow. Starters were very good, main courses needed to be much hotter, apple crumble was excellent. I booked on a special offer, but the discount was not applied, and we didn’t have the time to point this out on the night. In short, overall it was not as good as usual.

Special birthday meal spoilt by the Manager before we'd even sat down. We go there regularly but won't be returning again. Other diners also said they had a bad experience also. I used to give the restaurant 6 stars but sadly not anymore

Delicious food and wine, all served at a perfect temperature. Waiter was v attentive up until the main was cleared, then the place got busy. We ordered a deal where we got a bottle of wine with an ‘a la carte order’ but the bottle was presented as a charge on the final bill, this was corrected after being pointed out (just that took quite a while to do). My partner wasn’t overly happy about being seated near the staff room, but I asked to move and that was the only other table we were offered. Finally, a family near us we’re watching various videos on their mobile phones (at the same time) at full volume, this was v annoying and I think they should have been asked to stop as it was v loud and really lowered the tone of the restaurant.

Wonderful service, beautiful food. We love to visit Cote for lunch or dinner it is always perfect!

a really lovely evening.... the third new years eve we have spent at Cote. A great atmosphere, really friendly and attentive staff and lovely food. Good menu choices and fair prices. One small observation was the starters arrived immediately after the amuse bouche, olives and bread and we had to ask for time to eat those before the starters were served. The waiter was fine about it, and took them away, but we just felt we were being rushed along faster than we could eat and enjoy the olives etc. Otherwise it was all perfect. We hope to come back again soon, not just for new years eve. A very happy new year to you all.

Excellent New Years Eve celebration meal, great food, service and ambience.

Enjoyed our meal very much we had the new year eve 3 course set menu and enjoyed our choices but when the bill came we were suprised to see that vat had then been added on separately on top of the 34.95 per head this was very misleading as we thought the price quoted on the advert was what we would be Paying.

Great food for a really good price. Just a couple of things let them down on this occasion. Firstly our waitress was rather brusque and unfriendly, literally frowning and almost barking at us when we ordered. Secondly about 10 minutes after we had ordered I was advised my starter wasn’t available. I was offered a reasonable alternative but as everyone else’s starter was on the way I didn’t really have much time to think about it. We’ve been there on a number of occasions before and would have score 10/10 for most of those visits!

Lovely food, good choice of wine. We didn't feel rushed and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
