Good food and good service. Shame to be sat upstairs and next to a noisy table especially when tables were free downstairs but was told they were booked (we booked back ibefore Christmas).

The only downside was the bottle of wine was charged for, when it was booked on a deal that made it free. The waitress sorted it out so all was good!

Super staff and a proper restaurant with first class food. We always choose Cote in the various towns we visit when on rugby trips.

I was really impressed tonight by the standard of food and service. The monthly special of lamb loin chops was superb. The prawn gratinée and the tarte au pomme was delicious. Best meal I have had here

Great menu. Great service. It always annoys me the automatic 12.5% service charge. Service should be subjective. Pay 2% or 20%. It all depends on the quality of service. Embarrassing when settling the bill to question the service the young person who has delivered and giving the credit card machine. But tips should be discretionary, not compulsory. Puts us off. Are you making the statement that they are not worth 12.5%? Awkward.

Been to this restaurant many times and whilst today’s experience was pleasant, it wasn’t great, unlike previous occasions. Ribeye steak cooked medium was more like well done. Fries covered in lots of salt, not necessary and customer should be able to add their own salt to UNSALTED fries as they wish. Crepe was hard and dry at the edges, probably been in freezer much too long Creme caramel nothing like as good as previous visits. All small things, but put together, they left us slightly disappointed. Free bottle of wine as part of January offer was very nice, thank you.

As always, delicious food from the Prestige menu, and great value for money.

All very nice only thing was the bill should have been as your promotion 2 courses for £9.95 we were charged the £11.50 as usual.Not to worry only a few pounds extra.

We had a lovely evening. We were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. The staff were so pleasant during our experience to this restaurant. Our meal was delicious and tasty and excellent value. I highly recommend anyone to dine here. We will be returning.

We have dined at Cote Brasserie on quite a few occasions and have never had reason to be disappointed. The food is always consistently good, and value for money, which is why we choose to dine there. The staff are attentive but not overly and there is a good atmosphere.

Restaurant lovely. Starter poor, did not eat. (Mussels) Main lovely. ( salmon ) Dessert ok. (choc mousse) Coffee very good. Service ok. Would have been nice to be offered bread without having to pay, extra, especially with moules, and for waiters to spot starter not eaten at time rather than at time of clearing, as could have taken an alternative. Also prefer to decide tip rather than have it decided and added on the bill. Would still have tipped on this occasion, but feel it should be up to guest. Thank you.
