Rather busy intially, had to ask for the coffee twice and the bill.I have visited many times and this has been the slowest service. Meal however great as always.
Lovely evening. Nice atmosphere. Waiter was very attentive and friendly. I asked for rare steak but it was more like medium, but still tasted delicious. Will be back again soon.
Great food and very, very friendly and professional staff. Extensive menu and specials are all very tempting. Veal escalope on the menu today and it was fantastic. We eat here regularly and you will not be disappointed
Great service , friendly staff and great food ...and good value for money, and finally the location is central what more food you ask for.
Excellent in every way. One small comment: my steak, ordered rare was actually medium well done. However, I was provided with coffee on the house which I thought was an adequate gesture. I was also told when I reported the error that I could return the steak if I wished, but since I was more than half way through my meal, I declined to do so. I shall certainly return, and I especially commend the serving staff.
Côte had a great set lunch menu and served all afternoon. Food was fresh & tasty. Our waiter was brilliant. Relaxed surroundings and we weren’t rushed. Would definitely recommend.
Great as always, good service and food, and nice menu choice.
Lovely dinner with my family in a nice enviroment, friendly staff and servirce but also with great wine!! A very speciall day that I want repeat.
We had a very efficient (if not rather aggressive!) waitress serving us this evening. Her manner made us feel like we were dining in a communist restaurant where we WOULD be grateful, whether we liked it or not. I had a Calimari - which was tasty, but the raw garlic in the homemade sauce to accompany it means that I’ll be warding off vampires for the next 20yrs... I won’t be ordering that again! My husband ordered the Crottin. Urgh, it tasted of mix of vomit and smelly, sweaty feet. He left most of it. We daren’t inform our waitress for fear of being led outside onto the pavement and thrashed in front of the other diners as punishment. We love Cote and regularly visit, but this experience left us feeling a bit cold and £60 lighter.
Lovely restaurant with friendly helpful staff. The booking was made for 6 couples, which included 3 birthday girls. We were given a complimentary drink, which was a great welcome. Our one complaint was that one of the birthday girls had goats cheese with roast vegetables - this was not eaten as it was not your usual standard, vegetables were too large and not cooked properly and the goats cheese was not enjoyable. I did mention to one of the waiters that we were not happy with that particular meal. Other 5 meals were delicious and up to your normal standard.
We took friends for the first time and they were delighted. Food was excellant and good choice on the menu. and service very good. Will be going again.
Lovely ambience, food was lovely and fresh. Service was spot on. Great menu choices something for everyone’s taste. Nicely presented, very clean. Would highly recommend.
A bit rushed, some dishes were dried up- left under a heat lamp? The waiter was excellent but the 12.5% service charge is a bit outrageous. It’s discretionary but it’s automatically added to the bill. We asked to have it reduced, as it was £16 for an average meal that was over in an hour!
The staff were absolutely lovely. It was our wedding anniversary and we were presented with two glasses of kir royale on arrival and a lovely dessert with happy anniversary on..It's those small touches that make a night so special. Thank you so much!!!!!
The United Kingdom is very fortunate to have this chain of restaurants. Their particular formula is just right and delivers delicious quality food at a reasonable price and by staff in a friendly professional way, something that is hard to find outside of London. I have visited many different branches and having a centralised menu, you are never disappionted. Each branch has a delightful atmosphere so congratulations must go to the policy makers and the well trained staff who deliver it. I have visited other well known chains where there is style over substance, but Cote always delivers quality and good value. Congratulations.
Lovely food. Great ambiance. Attentive waiter. Free bottle of wine. The only downside is the 12.5% gratuity, which is automatically added to the bill. However, will definitely come again. My new favourite restaurant....I love Cote brasserie.
Very Good Food was excellent and service was very good even though they were busy. We would return
This was our first visit so we qualified for a complimentary bottle of wine. Both starters were delicious and the fish parmentier main course also hit the spot. I found the swordfish sauce too salty but the actual meat excellent. The wine list needs a house wine around £ 16.00 I will return.
Food was delicious and service was quick. Food looked gorgeous as well as tasting so, and the wide range of drinks made for quite a decision!
The staff were very courteous and helpful. Dining was a pleasure. Although Mothering Sunday is a busy period the staff coped well with no apparent fluster.
My Mothers Birthday, no free drink, no mention of her birthday. Rushed service, way overpriced. Advertised at £18.95 total cost £95 including a £11 service charge!! Previous visit was excellent. Very very disappointed.
Staff were excellent. Polite, prompt and accommodating. We know chain, and meal was all good and of nice quality, although my steak was cold. House red was excellent.
items in the menu were not available which is amazing for a saturday night. why do you take the veal snitzel of the menu in the spring when it is obviously popular as it is re introduced in the autumn ? we regularly use your restaurants in London and bournemouth , your loosing a customer !!!
The food and service was excellent, will be coming back definitely and recommending the restaurant to everybody
I celebrated a birthday lunch today with two friends at Cote. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the food and friendly service were excellent as always. Thank you again, we'll be back!
As always the staff were welcoming courteous and attentive. The food choices varied, we like the set menu for its seasonally and of course value and a pleasant experience at lunch time which is what we prefer.
I think that's the best restaurant in Bournemouth! The food quality is on 5*. The prices are fab too! The staff is really friendly and helpful. After placing an order food is coming literally in 10min! Which is absolutely amazing! Ps. I couldn't believed how clean is cutlery and all glass! That's not happening in many restaurants. So as well big plus from me 😊
We enjoyed our meal at Cote Bournemouth,it was an early supper after a trip to the cinema. The food was excellent, well cooked and beautifully presented especially the sea bass fillets.
I’ve been to Côte in Bournemouth on several occasions and have not been disappointed yet. The food is always tasty and well presented and much better value than other places I have visited recently. Keep up the good work
Another lovely pre theatre meal, with an excellent french cocktail to start. The sea bass was perfectly cooked and we love the gratin potatoes and the creme caramel.
Very good food and service as always. I enjoyed my rather unusual starter of bacon and egg salad and my wife enjoyed her endive salad. Unfortunately the French cottage pie, which I would have chosen, was not available so I had the roast cod which was excellent. My wife had the chicken escalope which was very tasty.
Excellent meal as always. We dine at Cotes Brasserie regularly and have never been disappointed, the food is always of superb quality. We would highly recommend it
Hi, we had a lovely meal. We waited a while to get a drinks order and food. My steak but was medium not rare but we had waited a long time so did not complain. After also waiting a long time for server we then had about 6 people ask if we were enjoying whilst eating. so one extreme to the order. but over all a lovely meal and good value for money.
Really poor experience. I use Cote Brassiere on a regular basis and this was an appalling experience. I booked a table for 4 for a birthday treat for my husband on a Sunday evening. Most of the food we requested was not available. Our starter was of very poor quality and when we received our main meals they were cold. We sent back the 2 fish dishes and on receiving the dishes again, my dish had no potatoes. It was a fiasco from start to finish and completely ruined the treat and sadly the manager was very abrupt and not apologetic about the poor service and poor quality of food. I would not recommend this Bournemouth Cote Brassiere restaurant
Really enjoyed atmosphere and food with my girlfriends this lunchtime. We all had different meals and everyone enjoyed the food, will definitely come back again. Service was good.
I can go to any pub chain and spend a tenner and enjoy instant free wifi , I visit branches in Bristol and Bournemouth and when I point the terms of use out to my friends they are appalled , so to use the wifi it has been known a few people put in rubbish anyway .I don't see why I spend £65 with Cote and provide all my personal details so you can sell my data ? I get enough junk emails without generating more. Great food but you devalue the brand doing this. Keith Perry
Overall a very pleasant experience , a light bright and airy dining room , well spaced out , yet enough to be convivial. Prices are mid range , service excellent , although I found the helpings a little on the small side. There is a well advertised 12.5 % non obligatory service charge , which I am not a big fan of , as the great British public generally would rather shy away from the potential uncomfortable feeling that non willingness to pay can bring ,but from my experience the waiter made sure that there was no way that I could refuse , as we were well looked after . I booked on line and mentioned that we were eating out as a birthday treat . We were greeted with 5 complimentary drinks which was a nice touch.
As always, delicious food catering for the gluten free diner without problems. All diners loved their food. Thank you for informed and courteous service. Thank you. It really is a good place to eat.
We are from the early bird menu, it was great value and we thoroughly enjoyed both courses, our waitress was friendly and helpful, lovely dinner, would definitely come again.
Everything was of a very high standard. Friendly and efficient staff, high quality food and a pleasant ambience. The prices were reasonable, and the choice good.
Great food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff! Upstairs great as less noise than downstairs (two of our party of four are hearing impaired, so very convenient for us). Have been to this restaurant on several occasions, will definitely be back.
Really enjoyed our visit last night. Good food, good service and a very pleasant experience for our first visit to this particular Cote brasserie. It is good to feel the standard is maintained
Reserved window seat but MD wasn't able to accommodate as restaurant was very busy. Other couples appeared to be taken upstairs shortly afterwards! Steak tartare portion was very small unlike previous visit visits. My wife ordered parfait but this was sold out.
Enjoyed our meal. Restaurant was a bit quiet but we did eat early. I personally thought it ws a bit cold in there as well. Food very good, service great.
We had a lovely meal at Cote Brasserie last night for my Mum’s birthday. Our waiter was very kind and attentive, the food delicious as always and a nice atmosphere. We will all be back! Thank you!
A beautiful restaurant in the heart of Bournemouth. We sat in the window upstairs which had a lovely view of the edge of the park. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the wine recommendation was spot on. The food was lovely and there was no pressure to hurry at all. We would definitely return.
Delicious food. Restaurant was very busy but service was good. Lunch set menu is good value for money. Only negative: had to wait a long time to pay the bill & also to receive change back.
Excellent breakfast and the staff were very attentive and charming.
As always a wonderful visit to Cote. A warm welcome to our favourite table, superb food and wine. Lovely atmosphere. We love it! Thank you.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. would highly recommend it for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
