Really great quality food. We both had something different on all courses and enjoyed them all. One poor thing was the 12.5 percent tip added onto bill automatically which some people would be scared to challenge. I always tip but will take off in principle next time if it is added when bill presented

Our first chair to this friendly and lively venue . Both the food and service were of a high sdandard abd we will certainly be returning !!!!

Great food and nice atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The only thing that spoiled the evening was the 3 instances of a fire alarm going off in the kitchen - nobodies fault but just enough to stop me awarding top marks for the evening.

Good food and great service. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and we had a very enjoyable evening. The food was hot and delicious and thankfully not massive portions. Thank you.

First time visiting, service was good and food outstanding was really impressed and will be returning. Staff went the extra mile to help us celebrate a birthday - left extremely happy!

The restaurant has a good ambience but the service was rushed, our main course came before we had even finished our starters, we were still eating it. When we asked them to slow down we didn’t get served at all and then our waiter put his jacket on and went home! The restaurant was open late and other people were still dining but several of the waiting staff put jackets on in the restaurant and left - surely they should do that out of view - which made us feel we were intruding on their time and should leave.

Went with my family for quick early bird dinner menu. All three courses were tasty and service good. Have been before so I knew what to expect. Hopefully the menu will change as so far it's always been the same. Variety is the spice of life.

Certainly the new kid on the block, as far a Bournemouth is concerned. However, pretty true to the French Bistro style of dining. Casual, with quality provincial cooking. Friendly and relaxed service. Shall certainly visit again.

Excellent, friendly service. Great mid week set lunch menu in pleasant setting. Egg florentine starter was delicious followed by Bretagne chicken salad. Hope to be back very soon.

Centrally located in the heart of the town. Good choice of menu and prices and friendly staff. Not sure about service charges being added to bill.

I am finding this restaurant one of the best in Bournemouth for its food quality, its ambiance and the friendliness of the staff. we will continue to return there as long as it maintains this high standard and look forward to many more really enjoyable meals.

Really friendly staff. Very good food and not too expensive, given the high quality and lovely ambiance. The house red wine was excellent and didn't cost the earth. We normally use the Cote in Chichester so it was really nice to find that the high standards are maintained across the group.

Our visit was spoiled for one of our group by too many bones in the fish pie! I don’t think it is sufficient to say that this comes from the main kitchen in London and that you have no control over it.

First time to Bournemouth branch having used various London branches of the chain. Great to find the standards are equally good - good menu, good chef and all the staff.

Good wide choice of dishes on the menu, very enjoyable food and good, friendly, efficient service. What more could one wish for? Will come back.

Staff and food excellent as all Cote restaurants are,keep up the good work. My first visit to Bournemouth,very impressed ideal site for Cote in centre of town.

Five of us ate pre theatre. The choice of dishes was very good and the service was excellent - efficient without being intrusive, The bill was very good value. We ordered deserts and when we said we were short of time, the waiter ensured that we were served really quickly which got us out on time. Cote is an excellent addition to Bournemouth Town centre, it is just a shame that there are not more restaurants of this type in the centre.

The restaurant was clean and tidy. The staff pleasant, helpful and attentive but not too obtrusive. It was quiet as it was a Monday evening. The food was lovely and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the restaurant.

As always, & we are frequent visitors to your branches in Hampstead & Salisbury, the food, service & ambiance was excellent. It was interesting to note that the cuisine & its quality was identical to the other restaurants & we are looking forward to a return visit.

Excellent service. Well presented food. Lovely clean toilets! Well spaced tables. We enjoyed our overall experience there for breakfast and we will be going again for the £11.99 early evening meal.

Love your Salisbury branch, always consistent. Been to the Bournemouth branch twice. The first time Sun 12th the service was slow, and had to chase for butter etc. The second time the Thursday of that week, the service was very slow. My friend wanted a stater as a main, on your set lunch menu, which was agreed. When it came it was a small starter, so she explained again to the waiter, and then ordered a portion of fries, as he seemed unprepared to do anything. I think it is a cheek to charge for the fries, when the courses consisted of a small starter and dessert. To be honest I live in Bournemouth and it has put me off returning.

Not the cheapest of establishments with extreamly pleasant surroundings, staff are attentive without being overly visible but excellent choice, food and service will always be a regular restaurant for us

Lovely evening for my birthday, food excellent, staff very attentive, the offer before 7pm is a bonus, highly recommend, looking forward to the Xmas menu

All good. It was Saturday night and it did feel a bit rushed but food was excellent steak cooked to perfection fish was Good too

Lovely waitress and good food but really appalling service / arrived at 19:30 and left at 23:00 this was due to excessive gaps awaiting each course despite complaining that we seemed to have been forgotten We planned to enjoy the Christmas market in Bournemouth after our meal but totally missed this It’s a shame that nobody seems to take overall responsibility for the orchestration of proceedings as the food is excellent but the staff are either overstretched or useless

Nice meal, good steak but not outstanding, very friendly service that starts at the door when you come in. Good restaurant for a good meal for a reasonable price. French restaurant so ONLY French wines.

My husband and I visited Côte for the 2nd time as had such a great time last week. We needed a quick turn around as had theatre tickets. Prompt professional service and great food! Thanks again Côte. You’re getting to be one of our new favourite places to eat out in Bournemouth! 👍💕

I visited Cote at lunch time with a group of female friends. We were all impressed with the great menu choices, the decor, the excellent service and the food was delicious too. To top it all the bill was very Reasonable - we are planning to make return visits soon! Many Thanks to all at Cote.

Delightful service and very good food. New resturant well up to Cote standards and in convenient position in Bournemouth. Staff very helpful and well friendly.

What a wonderful evening! The food was incredibly delicious, the wine magnificent and the staff were attentive and polite. The decor is stylish and romantic, but not exclusive or pretentious. All in all a perfect evening!

The menu was varied, service friendly and efficient but not overpowering and great value for money! Would definitely recommend and will be returning again soon.

Great location. Staff were very attentive. we had the early bird menu -2 courses for £11.50 and thought the selection and presentation was good. My only criticism would be the price of the wine- £7.50 for a 250ml glass was too expensive in my opinion.

Good seat by the window. Quick service upon entering. Waiter was excellent and very attentive. Food very nice from the set price menu. Overall very good thank you.

Great food and very helpful staff nice atmosphere . Good selection on menu but some of the mains they had ran out of at 8pm but we choose something else as tgere was panty oif choice.

This restaurant never fails to deliver. The food, service and venue are all difficult to fault. The November specials menu isn't quite to my taste as October, but the boudin noir was amazing. I could've eaten it multiple times. I really must visit for breakfast someday. I'm sure it will be perfect.

A lovely, light restaurant with very helpful and accommodating staff. Food was delicious with a good choice available. The children’s menu also had a good selection. Will definitely return!

Lovely breakfast with a good choice from the menu. Opt for a table upstairs as much quieter than ground level. Staff attentive and good to identify cheaper option of breakfast with coffee and juice.

It was nice enough, flavours were great but some of it wasn’t really warm enough. Portions were also quite small but a nice atmosphere and lovely staff! Would give it another go!

Great meal post graduation ceremony at the BIC! Fantastic value too - 2 or 3 course special for £11.59/£13.50 respectively. We sat upstairs in the booth really private but looked out across the restaurant with a nice terrace balcony to the left. We’d definitely go again. The Côte chain has done well with this one. The food was great. My fillet steak was cooked perfectly. The wine I had was easy drinking. Service could benefit from being a bit more personal. I understand this may just be a one off. We will be returning again. Thank you.

Great restaurant, great staff and great location, usually go to Windsor or Marlow but this location is really convenient for the weekend break away. The staff were efficient and very polite, especially the manager.

Four of us had a variety of main dishes. We skipped the starters. The verdict was very good all round. My own dish was a simple half chicken and fries. It was cooked to perfection. The welcome and service at the start were very friendly and efficient. From there on service got slower and slower. I had to wave the menu in the air to attract attention so we could order our desserts. To get the bill involved a Winner-like waving of the napkin and one of us going to ask a group of three waitresses if we could have the bill. They all vanished from sight! Eventually someone came, but what a palaver.

It was a lovely dinner. Amazing and friendly service and lovely food. If you are in Bournemouth, also for a daily trip, you should go there.

We enjoyed a lovely meal with great fish dishes selected from the a la carte menu. The service was excellent as always and at a pace that suited us.
