Côte Bournemouth

Lovely service, nice location but sadly terrible food. I am not sure what the French would make of this restaurant but I suspect it wouldn't be favourable. A chocolate fondant shouldn't take 30 seconds and be so clearly straight from the microwave. Really disappointed and wont return!

Loved it all the food was lovely and our waitress and staff were all well trained well mannered and polite. Would definitely go back again

This was our first visit to the Bournemouth restaurant but have previously enjoyed meals in St Albans. My wife had the Hake Piperade with Cornish New Potatoes and I had the Butterfly Breast of Chicken with creamy mushroom sauce. We then both had the Praline Crepe with caramelised banana slices and chantilly cream - delicious. Cote Brasserie is located in the old Austin Reed store on the corner of Westover Road and is on two storeys. The restaurant is light and airy and the food is very good with matching customer service. Highly recommended.

I invited 2 guests. We were 4 guests. We ordered from the prestige menu. 3 ordered Rib eye steak medium rare. I particularly said I wanted mine pink! Steaks were alli medium/well done .i sent mine back. The others ate theirs, but Icould not be bothered to wait for another one. My second steak arrived Medium/rare, but was very thick and tough as shoe leather. They offered to make me another one , but my friends had almost finished their dinner; I was hungry and could not be bothered to wait again, so I ate some of it, but left half. My husband ordered chill with his chicken Breton. The dish arrived without chips. He had eaten half the chicken before the chips arrived. The manager offered not to charge for my small glass of house red; she should not have charged for my steak Not a successful evening, very disappointing

A great evening out. Great food & service at Cote Brasserie, Bournemouth before an evening show at the Pavilion Theatre. A real treat!

Wanted a quickish supper. Easy to book by web and requested a nice table for 4 which we got. Decent food, good choice. Overall a commendable experience.

We had a fab evening at Cotes, the meal was excellent and the service as always was fantastic. The restaurant itself has a wonderful ambience; we enjoyed it so much that we have booked again for when we are back in Bournemouth

Oh dear. everything great as usual apart from the main event which was the steak. The staff were friendly and helpful and efficient. The atmosphere was good. The reason I had booked to have a meal with my son was because of the August special the ribeye steak to share. I recognise it is a fatty cut but the fat was not rendered enough and the meat was chewy. The Manager was attentive and listened to our comments and made adjustments to the bill i.e taking off the cost of our starters but that did not make up for not having eaten a delicious meal which I expect from Cote.

Food was brilliant and reasonable portions. My partner and I ha Kronenbourg and large g & t to drink and both were served in thick glasses, in total contrast to the wine and water glasses which were part of the table arrangement!

The menu is fantastic, it is always so hard to choose! Lovely restaurant with excellent staff.

It was a very good meal and very well served. My wife loves steak but never orders it because it is never cooked to her likening. We both had the Rib Eye, mine medium/rare my wife's medium/well done, both were bang on cooked to perfection. Will return again. Slight downside, we were going to a show at 7 o/clock so booked the meal for 5.45 to give us good time to enjoy the meal with out rushing. When we got the bill it should have been the day/early evening price from 12 to 6 pm instead we were charged from 6 o/clock. Not going to complain about an extra £6 from the best restaurant in Bournemouth.

Found the atmosphere and service were both excellent, I had the lamb dish from the main menu and unfortunately my lamb was very fatty (50% at a guess). My fellow diners, one who also had the lamb, were very satisfied with their meals and overall we had a very nice evening at Cote Bournemouth.

We have used the to Cote Brasserie for a pre-theatre meal twice now and this latest time (The Mousetrap) yet again the service and meal were superb. We will be back.

It is always delicious food and it doesn‘t matter what you chose. Always a very friendly service and very nice atmosphäre We come back as often as possible.

My friends and family had a very enjoyable time last night and the food and service was excellent. Definitely our favourite restaurant in Bournemouth!

Excellent food. The staff couldn't have been more helpful especially as one of us needed gluten free. It was lovely to be somewhere with matching chairs too. My friend and I have been eating out in Bournemouth for the last 8 years we don't think we have ever had such good service. We will definitely be back. I don't think the music was needed as very busy with people but it wasn't too intrusive.

We had very delicious food, very friendly stuff and a nicke atmosphäre. We go there as often as we are in Bournemouth.

Welcoming and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere and good food. Only negative a few items missing off menu.

Slightly disappointed on this visit. Two of our party of four ordered pork tenderloin which came only warm not hot. We did not complain as we were with an elderly friend so did not want to spoil the occasion. On the whole we love Cote but if this had been our first visit it would have put us off somewhat. On the plus side I think your staff are very professional and really seem to enjoy being at work.

Friendly servers. Remembered, searched and found last bottle of wine remaining in stock, despite no longer featured on menu. Also remembered today's visit was a Birthday celebration.

Had a wonderful family reunion at Cote Bournemouth & the staff being aware of this, took extra care to make it a memorable occasion for us. All the staff never fail to impress & the food is sublime...!

Not quite on board with service here. Cote’s normal high standard was only average here. Felt my food was over cooked but because service wasn’t brill couldn’t be hassled to return. Manager sweet about food delay but was so busy wine was slopped into glasses. Given it was a Friday night with no menu deals I therefore don’t think we had value for money

Had an amazing night. Wine was great food was great. The 2nd course took quite a while to come but was absolutely lovely. My mother thought her duck was a little tough but still very tasty. The staff were all amazing and very polite. Loved the restaurant and decor. This was my first time there tonight and I would definitely come again. To top it all I got 3 mini birthday cakes.
