Very good evening, helped by new additions to drinks and food all of which were very good. The service as usual was exceptional as was the atmosphere which is always very positive.

Nice but the restaurant was soo hot! Too hot! A few tables asked for the air con to be on but nothing was done. Usually breakfast is lovely but I had croque monsieur which was very sloppy and presented very bland on a small plate with no garnish

A really nice brunch for a large group. Nothing was a hassle, even when we had an extra 5 people join us. Lovely food (veggie breakfast was very tasty!)

I asked to sit downstairs and they made us go upstairs even though there were spaces, I’m Heavily pregnant! We were very squashed in, tables too close, my partner had to sit to the side as couldn’t get in with the table behind. French onion soup lovely however 2x big clumps of cheese on top was too big, couldn’t eat as melted in to one lump, grated would of been so much better do I could actually eat it, left on the side as could cut it up.

An absolutely fantastic meal for my partners birthday. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The food was exceptional, the fillet steak is highly recommended along with the chicken liver pate and calamari. Will be recommending to all our family and friends.

We had the early evening dinner prior to going to the theatre. Service was perfect, very attentive staff, food delicious and great value, I would definitely recommend to friends and family and will be returning.

Cote is a great brand with an excellent reputation so on the few occasions it slips it’s a disappointment- on Tuesday night our steaks contained more fat that we’d expect, but that apart the meal, service etc was first class.

Staff are always fantastic. Cote’s service is unparalleled here. Efficient, smiling, happy, speak well about the company. Food always excellent with seasonally changing menus, set menus good value, clean ‘facilities’. No surprise the restaurant is always busy. Why no 6th star? I was a disappointed vegan. The vegan puy lentil main I looked forward to was not available. The alternatives were the usual risotto (boring, something I rustle up at home when the fridge is empty. I intensly dislike those ubiquitous wild mushrooms, and anyway needs skill to prepare), or a dish with vegan cheese - sorry not a fan of vegan cheese. Suggest looking to eg Ottolenghi for inspiration! How about using ‘innovative’ spices. eg Cardamon, Ras El Hanout, even curry powder. ? I did enjoy the flatbread (listed in the nibbles section for some reason?) If I had known it was so generous, I would have had the tomatoes as a starter followed by the flatbread! The chef did his best to accommodate me with my request for a plate of vegetables for which I’m grateful, as they were busy. but frustratingly the spinach and potatoes I would have liked aren’t ‘vegan’. And the only vegan dessert is always sorbet! Time to move with the times and promote an exciting vegan menu. Even carnivores are tempted by good vegan food now!

Steak a little cool, and over cooked. Not normal quality.

It was my 50th with all the family, the waiting staff were all very helpful, asking us when we would be ready for the next course. I had been once before and the service is excellent. Although i found the set menu portions a bit small, a sharing dish of mixed vegtables put in middle of table would have made the meal complete.

Staff are professional and friendly, willing to acommodate the needs of their customers first and foremost. The choice on the menu would suit most needs well cooked and presented at reasonable prices.

A birthday celebration with a complimentary Kir Royale on arrival for myself and friends. An enjoyable evening with good food and good service.

We ate here twice in the 4 days we were in Bournemouth, being coeliac I know I can always trust Cote and the food and service here was really good!

This was another great experience at Cote but a couple of things were not quite right (in my view). The good first - lovely Calamari and Lamb rump for one and tasty rabbit terrine and chicken salad for another. But the side of golden beetroot for my salad was covered in chopped raw garlic and killed the taste of the beets. And our bottle of white wine came to the table barely cool even though our friendly waitress brought an ice bucket, it took ages to chill.

Had a great 70th Birthday celebration brunch for my wife with 16 family members including 5 grandchildren. Lovely food and good service, very good value. Followed by walk along the prom at Bournemouth.
