Lovely meal with excellent service, the cheeseboard was excellent as was the whole experience, staff were very helpful and efficient, the service was prompt. The food was reasonably priced but the drinks were a bit on the expensive side, but an excellent evening.
Good food, excellent service and very reasonable prices. One of the best mid-priced restaurants in Bournemouth. We sre regular customers here, Dorchester and Bath and all are equally good.
Lovely food and good service.good value.would go again and recommend to friends. A good place to eat before show at Pavillion. A good, central location.! Thank you
Such Beautiful food and extremely friendly staff. Made our evening just perfect, will be eating here again for sure! Couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommend
We had an offer for negroni cocktail which proved very difficult to obtain . So after much discussion they said I had to book again on line but it still appeared on the bill. Unfortunately the crepe dessert was. very disappointing was was not edible
Lovely dinner wonderful food and service my favourite restaurant for lunch or dinner. The staff and manager are always welcoming Great choice on the menu for starters and main courses maybe the dessert could be updated Love the choice of wines and always have a Kir Royal to start with
Love this chain of restaurants, in each I've eaten in, always had high standards and great service and the food is always so tasty !. Unfortunately this evening there were a couple of things off the menu, one of which I'd ordered - had to change my choice, these things happen, but still enjoyed my meal. Timings are perfect for a very enjoyable evening out.
We really enjoyed our long lunch. Lovely food and wine and great service. It was an Early 50th Birthday meal with friends. Hope to go again soon.
The food and service was great. The only disappointment is adding the optional 12.5% staff tip to the bill. This should be left the customers discretion! Thank you and we will return.
Amazing !! 9 of us booked for the early evening menu, superb. Lovely food and service
Very lovely and polite service from Kevin1. Great atmosphere and delicious food
An exceptional lunch - thank you. The roast duck was so special followed by Taste Aux Mirabelles. Just perfect! Thank you to the manager who always makes us feel very welcome.
Superb meal from start to end. Greeted at the door by the manager, shown to a lovely table. Great friendly staff, very good (without being invasive) service. Food very good - French onion soup excellent, haddock special for Good Friday was superb. Frites were a few minutes late and the manager removed them from the bill without use asking, very good service. Would return without hesitation.
The service was excellent ,so were the mussels and seafood linguine.
Wonderful mothers day meal the French onion soup was the best we have had outside of Paris. We will be back for lunch in the near future.
First visit to the Bournemouth Cote. Excellent location but the ambience slightly lacking - seated in the bar area by the entrance. However, great food and good service. The crab mayonnaise is always a delight - my partner said the French Onion soup was good but would have liked a soup and not a huge (almost table!) spoon. Duck was perfect and the right shade of pink, but the steak was a little tough. Minted peas were cold, but were removed from the bill. Overall a great meal and will definitely return. Kir Royale delicious...!
Wonderful food, lovely atmosphere. Great staff. Will be back again
Charming staff & tasty food. What’s not to like? Had calamari then ribeye steak. Great value 2 course menu. Warm relaxed atmosphere. Coffee was good too.
The service is always excellent and it was particularly good this evening. The food is always delicious and good value for money! We all had a fabulous evening. Thank you
Generally good atmosphere, service and starters. Two of our diners enjoyed their main courses but unfortunately the mussels were over cooked and rubbery and the poussin special was bland in taste. We also ordered a rose but it wasn’t chilled enough and when we asked for a colder one we were told they were from the fridge so they would all be at that temperature so we went for a red instead. It’s a shame because I think this bournemouth branch is especially atmospheric but this time it wasn’t up to scratch.
Lovely restaurant, good value for money, food was delicious, service friendly, nice atmosphere.
Another excellent experience at Cote Bournemouth. We had complimentary St German gin and tonics which were exceptionally good. Our food was well cooked and the service was professional and efficient. Well done Cote.
Very attentive service, going to small details without being too posh boring kind of thing enough for people to realise that is the right place for a good dinner. This is the the 8th time that we had a meal and lunch or dinner was always perfect not boring not intrusive not "small minded" Keep up the good work
THE MANAGEMENT WAS AWFUL! did not try and accommodate us even thought I was pregnant. I asked if we were able to move to another table due to the booth being cramped for 6 people. The manager said Was not able to to do this cause they were fully booked, but the said table remained free until we left. I wonder if this manger would have done the same to a white Caucasian woman? Ruined our brunch.
Great food, service and excellent value for money. Well done all
Truly lovely meal. Friendly and professional service. Thank you for a lovely evening
A table upstairs by the window - a friendly and attentive waiter and great food. We chose the two course early dinner and what value! I especially enjoyed the baked chicken with fennel in a provencal dressing. Delicious. Sadly no room for the creme caramel.
We had a weekend in Bournemouth and decided to end it at Cote on Sunday evening. This is a really nice restaurant. Tables are NOT crammed in and its light & spacious. The staff are really attentive & the food was tasty & well presented. We had a lovely evening to end our weekend away.
Amazing service, excellent food and brilliant ambience. Would thoroughly recommend. Nothing too much trouble for all the staff with our age ranges from 9 - 83. This restaurant is not too he missed on your trip to Bournemouth.
Some staff were very good - both of our waiters. 'Manager' not marvellous. Bill was incorrect, overcharged but quickly amended. Muzak ok at first but should have been adjusted to a lower level later when there were fewer diners.
My meal for my girlfriend's 22nd birthday was unreal and couldn't have asked for somewhere better to go. Thank you for your hospitality. Look forward to coming back.
Although the food was absolutely delicious, my wife found cling film stuck to the pate on her starter which we had a chuckle about. But as the meal proceeded I had the duck main which I was absolutely enjoying but to my disgust I found a huge dark hair in my cherry sauce. Although the waiting staff reacted quickly and apologiesd I didn't want a replacement main. It was mother's day & the main thing is my my mum had a lovely time with her family. We have been to cote about 6 times now & it's always been good value for money & good quality food, so this one off experience will not deter us. By the way we did get a small discount.
Last minute decision so lucky to get a table....we saw people being turned away. My partner chose two of the specials for May and was very pleased with the scallops to start and lamb chops to follow (not sure about the Roquefort butter with the chops) and I had calamari to start followed by baked salmon on ratatouille - absolutely delicious. A bottle of wine, great service from the maitre D and a lovely Brazilian waitress. Perfect.
As usual very good food and excellent service and to top it all a free cocktail was included. My wife really enjoyed the boeuf bourgignon and I had the roasted haddock which was very tasty. We will certainly be going again.
Our waiter (should have got his name) was excellent - one of the best we've had in a long time. Food and coffees were also very good.
Lovely restaurant in the centre of Bournemouth with both A la Carte and two reasonably priced lunchtime menus. Food is excellent. Service is excellent. This has become one of our favourite places for meeting friends.
We all really enjoyed are food which was all cooked very well apart from the pork which was over cooked . But all in all we all enjoyed the afternoon and will definitely be coming back .
Fantastic food and great atmosphere. Thourghly enjoyable evening with great service. Good value too.
The food and service were first class but the prices are astronomical, especially for the wine. The cheapest special menu is the best option price-wise for food although the choices are somewhat limited and the portions small. We had the next one up but my friend found there were insufficient vegetables with her salmon.
Fantastic visit and made a birthday very special, the service was fantastic and the food a delight. Would highly recommend to all and this isn't to be missed
Visited on Sunday for breakfast and had the Set Menu option, which was very good value. The drinks and food arrived quickly, was hot and very tasty. Staff were friendly and efficient. Left full and happy. Would like to return for lunch or dinner.
Venue, staff , company and menu choice was pleasant. Thank you. Great for a Plat vite (or a la carte) pre theatre. Will return for a complete evening experience.
We have visited Côte Brasserie regularly during a 6 month period while my husband has been in and out of Bournemouth hospital. On every occasion the food and choice of food has been consistently stunning. Well presented and always tasty. Would totally recommend eating here.
Mixed review...The butternut squash and crispy sage risotto tasted wonderful but was ruined by the fact that it had been microwaved to within an inch of its life and was therefore completely dry. The waitress was fierce and a little intimidating and I certainly didn't feel like challenging her. She needs to be more sincere and smile. She spoilt our lunch. The Confit of Duck was excellent but February's special side dish of potatoes was underwhelming. We will be back as Cote is one of our favourite lunch spots but will hope for a more friendly waitress.
You really can't find fault with anything at Cote. The service is fantastic, the food beyond excellent, the atmosphere wonderful. I will be going back again tomorrow!
A truly exceptional in every way, both the food and service were outstanding. This was our first visit, though for sure will not be our last!
A thoroughly enjoyable experiece. The staff from geeting to bill payment were well trained and attentive. Food, and wine selection were excellent. We had the set menu, which was really good value with more than generous portion sizes. I couldn't finish mine and was asked twice, with genuine concern, if everything was OK. We happily paid the inclusive service charge (which we checked actually goes to the staff) and a little extra. Would recommend without hesitation and visit again
Made a booking by phone & pleasant table was reserved for my wife & I. Amicable staff, good Informed service. Clean & Well kept. Menu satisfying but drinks a tad expensive. We have enjoyed our experience with cote many times before ,& shall do so again
Great as usual. Consistently good for quality and price. Service is exceptional.
Lovely food for a reasonable price, would expect to pay a lot more. Great attentive service and accommodating, would definitely recommend
