Côte Bluewater

We haven’t been since lockdown used to come here all the time and it was wonderful to be back. Staff fab all precautions taken still wonderful food. Loved it want to come back ASAP.

We've been dining at Cote for many years and it's always a treat whether for brunch, lunch or dinner and the occasional special offer of a free cocktail adds to the fun!

Great service, the food was fantastic and all of the colleagues were friendly and engaging.

Went with 4 friends to celebrate a birthday and we had a wonderful time. The staff where attentive and helpful. The food was served in good time and tasted so good. The prawns and calamari starters were so so good. Will definitely be coming back.

We live close to Bluewater and Cote was our favourite Sunday lunch high end venue. Disappointed with the limited menu now available. We were hoping for Smoked salmon and pork Belly or whole seabass as per internet menu, we ended with minute steak and chips and salad. At just over £70 we would have had better value in one of the down-market restaurants. Sadly won't be back unless things change drastically - don't mind premium prices but do expect premium product .

First foray out to eat for us since March. It was great, very relaxed, well organised, rules explained on entry and without any drama. Food was excellent as was our waiter, sorry we didn’t get his name. Thank you, COVID allowing we will be back. M&D H

We come most weeks to bluewater but this week was very disappointed. Firstly there were no ingredients for the complimentary rhubarb martini so that was not available. Upon ordering we was not told that there was no avocado ( the only reason we order vegetarian breakfast) we was not told there was no field mushrooms (one of the reasons we order french breakfast) and the English breakfast did not come with tomato as it should. If we had been told all of this when ordering we would have ordered something else. Then there was no brown sauce. One of our party had steak frites but no steak knife offered and they said it would be pink but it was not it was over cooked and dry. The ramakin bought to the table had a large chip in it on the edge which was very sharp ( i have a picture of this ). Sorry but not an enjoyable experience today so will not be rushing back.

Staff were polite and accommodating to our family. Food was wonderfully cooked and beautifully presented. Would definitely return.

Absolutely loved our socially distanced family lunch today. Nothing is too much trouble and we always choose Côte’s when we celebrate any family event.

We had lunch. Well served by friendly staff and management. Onion soup was good as were my grilled prawns. My goats cheese salad was tasty but my wife had a steak which was dry and tasteless. We doubt if it was as advertised Rib Eye. Probably cooked straight from the refrigerator rather than from room temperature.

Always enjoy the food at Cote. Well prepared and tasty. Staff are also excellent, attentive and friendly. We went very recently which meant it was quiet because of Covid. It didn't result in a lesser service. One observation: the Frites were too skinny, thin things. Maybe time for an upgrade there.

As always, excellent food and service, it was nice to be back. Tables were well separated.

Always enjoy lunch at Cote. My tuna nicoise salad was delicious unfortunately my husband's chicken Breton and fries was overcooked,dry and hard! The lady on the next table had the same meal and it looked the same, very unappertising. Disappointing but unusual so we will be back!

Booked to celebrate our wedding anniversary - what a great evening! Everything, from the food, to the service, to the atmosphere was perfect. Staff were friendly yet professional; atmosphere relaxed and unrushed; and the food was fantastic (we both had fillet steak for our main). One criticism - the yummy Rhubarb Martini needs to be served in a bigger cocktail glass!! ;-D Thank you - keep doing what you’re doing!

Really lovely meal, waiter was exceptional, really attentive, very quiet in the restaurant which was also quite lovely. In terms of covid guidelines, they all had the visors on and weren't getting close, all very well done.

Love the food, the staff are so friendly it’s great to have you back again

Pre lockdown we visited Cote Bluewater at least twice per month. This was our first visit post lockdown. I appreciate that as a business the menu was reduced for commercial reasons but unhappy to see that not only was there no specific vegetarian menu, the options on the main menu were very limited. Only goats cheese salad and goats cheese ravioli and a goats cheese starter. So ok if you love goats cheese. Can’t believe that it is too costly to provide the omelette which I know from previous dining with friends is an options which non veggies enjoy also. In addition despite there being a lot of staff we had to wait too long for our initial order to be taken. After this service was fine.

Very good food and service. Would definitely recommend and visit again.
