Good food cooked well , great atmosphere & the staff always makes you feel welcome

This is our favourite restaurant. We often visit for breakfast or dinner. Food is always fresh and beautiful and the specials change regularly so there’s always something new to try. It would be full marks from us but for two things... Firstly, they add a 12.5% gratuity to your bill. It says “optional” but obviously it’s far too embarrassing to ask for it to be removed. As a rule, we do tip generously when we eat out but we believe in doing so for exceptional service and therein lies the other problem.... The service is often lacking. They are great at taking your food order and getting your food to you quickly. However, if you want an extra drink or you want to pay the bill you literally have to get up and find someone yourself. We often have to go to the bar to ask. Leave the tip to the customer’s discretion please Cote. It will make your staff more attentive. Last night we paid a £12.50 gratuity for waiting half an hour for our bill and ordering our own drinks at the bar :(

Food was really good, portion size just right for us , enjoyed without being bloated but at the same time satisfied 😀. We had three courses and all very tasty, so well done ! There aren't many places this happens for the money. So good value ! Service was good and the professionalism of staff was also good. The only weakness from my point of view was the selection of beers, not many, I would liked to have seen an ale but I appreciate it is a French restaurant. Also I did not see any non alcoholic beer options. Cheers Jeremy

Wonderful service our waiter went out of his way to make us feel special on such a magical day. Without him I wouldn’t be with the love of my life, I owe him everything. The food was perfect although I’m so upset those nasty parsnips that I don’t even like, but tried because they were there splashed on my white all saints too because they were in the bowl with so much oil. Not so fun times, but atmosphere and service perfecto. Thank you, but please clean my top. Love you Adham

We had our meal, just two people, they automatically added 12% service charge £10.00 to the bill, however there was no way for me to change the amount, it should be up to the customer to decide what tip to give, depending on the service given.

Obviously, a very busy day today, but the food and service was excellent - as always.

It was a really nice lunch for Valentines Day, we both had set menus.

Didn’t like the menu options. Too restricting and tables were too close as well!

First time trying the breakfast at Cote I’d heard it was very good and it didn’t disappoint. Good quality sausage and bacon, decent bread for the toast, a bit of marmalade would have finished it off nicely.

As always we had a great evening here. The food was beautifully presented and extremely good. The waiters and waitresses excellent, very smart, friendly, fun and knowledgeable. The restaurant was well maintained and well presented. All in all an excellent evening!

Again another fantastic evening we had a table for four. A great person serving our table, great food and orange martini.

The food and service were lovely as always but there were too many people with coats/cardigans on as the air con was on in Feb!

We had an amazing meal and great service ! We visit here regularly and are never disappointed - all the staff are so friendly and the quality of food and cocktails were superb !!!

Friendly staff and we had an overall lovely experience. There was 8 of us and luckily I had booked a table because upon arrival, there was a queue waiting for availability. The service was efficient and friendly. All staff members were considerate and helpful. The food and drinks came out hot and tasty. We ordered six hot breakfasts and they came out at the same time. We was impressed with the neat presentation and the quality of the produce served. We made a few changes to a few of the breakfasts and they were all met without any issues. Our children (2) was provided with colouring packs to keep them occupied and an high chair was provided as soon as it became available. Overall, we had a very positive experience and we will definitely be returning in the near future for more delicious food. Also, their apple tart and ice cream is the best I have ever had!

The wife and I nearly always have a lovely meal at Cote Bluewater. The meals are very good nearly all of the time and the staff are wonderful.

Once again a wonderful evening. Took advantage of the free bottle of wine offer and we had the Merlot and it was very good. We are on post Christmas diets so had the seasonal cod and it was beautiful. Staff wonderful as per usual.

I received the email regarding an offer for 2 courses for £9-95 until the end of January, however the offer was£11-95. So a little misleading.

the pulled pork starter was cold in a pot and tasteless. . and the haddock was okay but without the tartar sauce would be bland.... I'm not impressed at all . it's my first and last time ....
