Côte Blackheath

The food was very nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. That was the first time i had every been to a cote. I will be returning very soon.

We are regular eaters at Cote, Blackheath and have always enjoyed our meal experience and the ambience of the place. Our meal last night was of good quality and exceeded our expectations. The only disappointing point to another fine evening meal was a delay in the service of our dessert, which was most unusual. When raised with a staff member the oversight was swiftly rectified and due apology made. It happens sometimes and no real harm done.

Excellent. I have tried other branches, such as Bluewater, and have always been satisfied with the food and service. Blackheath is just as good, if not better. More, it was my birthday and the staff put a surprise lit candle on my dessert. Good thing it wasn't a coffee!!! I will certainly be coming again - and recommending it to my friends. .

Waiters always attentive. Never wait long for food and it is always up to standard and tastes amazing. Always greeted with a smile and if you need something nothing is ever too much for the staff.

It was a bit dissapointed with the Menu kids, the mash potatoe was instantanic instead of home made. I wasnt expected that from Cote blackheath.

We had a great meal to celebrate our daughter's return to the UK. The waitresses were really friendly and provided an excellent service. The food was delicious, hot and well presented. It was a Wednesday evening but the restaurant had the feel of a saturday evening. I have eaten here on and off since it opened and would really recommened it.

Lovely, casual dining that manages to feel quite special. The dishes are prepared and presented well and is good quality and the price is great value. I have always had a wonderful eating experience at Côte Brasseries.

Delicious food, good service and welcoming atmosphere. My fillet steak was perfectly cooked exactly to my specification. As always the food is served very hot.

A delicious meal in beautiful surroundings with friendly service. I’m never disappointed when I visit Côte and this was no exception. Loved the swordfish special and the blood orange martinis too!

Excellent service but draughty and breakfast, although tasty was cold for all five of us. Not our usual Côte experience, so will not visit that branch again.

Lovely lunch and the waiter was attentive and entertaining. Always enjoy visits to Blackheath Cote. It can be noisy, but that’s understandable when it’s always so busy.

Great food- great service- always good and varied menu. Very efficient and excellent value for money. Pork belly was excellent, as was the fillet steak. The praline crepe and chocolate noir were delicious.

Food & waitress was good but overall service was let down as the restaurant was very busy & only 2 front of house staff were on. Therefore long wait for drinks & food.

Very busy, hard to get waiting staff attention. Missing cutlery, no offer of sauces, 2nd Mimosa didn’t arrive. Avocado under ripe ...but generally good!

Arrived a few minutes early and was seated immediately. Food was well cooked and service was excellent. A great place for a relaxing Sunday lunch- staff very friendly.

Had a lovely dinner with two teenagers Saturday night in March. Great location, very friendly waitress who interacted with everyone on the table making both teenagers feel included. Food was lovely and very timely and the wine menu was excellent. House champagne was of a good quality too. Would highly recommend and we will be back.

As usual the service and most of the food was very good. However, the Risotto was bland, stodgy and tasteless. The onion soup, calamari and pork belly were all excellent, just a shame the risotto and the noise spoiled the experience. The tables could be less close as well.

They were lovely enough to take note that it was my boyfriends birthday and surprised us both with a fondant and candle. Such a nice place would definitely recommend.

Great overall experience from booking to eating. The food and service was great, not just one of the team, everyone who served us gave the same great service. You can tell this is a well managed restaurant.

I was really surprised they were sent out - not Cote's usual standard. I have eaten this dish there a couple of times and know how good they normally are and how they should be. However, the situation was handled well and my replacement baked goat's cheese dish was delicious. We love the atmosphere and good value at Cote Blackheath and it remains on our list of local favourites.

As always a delicious meal but sad that they had run out of pork belly at 7.30. Nevertheless the fish and steak were very good. Service was as always excellent.

A pleasant meal in pleasant surroundings. The food was good with generous portions served by friendly staff. Tap water was freely available and we took the remaining wine home to finish later.

Excellent service and a good menu selection that produced a great meal. My choice of Celeriac soup followed by roast cod was delicious. Will book again

Greeted by Amy - who was very welcoming and effeicient. Large amount of menu choice, the food that we ate was good quality and well cooked, service was good and general experience was good. Perhaps invest in a pencil sharpener for the kids colouring buckets though as not one pencil cold be used! Other than that - a great meal out.

Great food and breakfast deal, but things to improve on: - If staff are on their phones it is better if they do that away from view of diners; - waiting staff could be more conversant with iPad (ours was quite uncomfortable taking our order which made things not smooth; - wrong order delivered to the table (correct order given to the kitchen) Simple things that can be rectified but otherwise a pleasant breakfast.

Great choices for breakfast and good staff. Online booking for the reservation was easy. Would recommend the blackheath restaurant for breakfast. Also appears popular with families.

Had eggs royal which was satisfactory but one of my eggs was hard and i did find the salmon to be warm. There was no pain au chocolate and our table was a little dirty.

I can do no more than repeat my 2015 TripAdvisor review; as it's still great; so here goes "We reviewed Cote in Blackheath, SE London after our first visit two years ago, and gave it 5 stars with the optimistic comment that we hoped they could keep the high standard up, given that Blackheath isn't short of competition. And wow- they have! Great staff, good service, and outstanding quality and value. We're picky about food, and can be snobby about chains (given that this is a chain restaurant) but we can't fault Cote so we keep coming back, as a duo, or with friends, who then all return themselves or with family". We have regularly eaten at this branch of Cote and had some really good meals. Last evening two main dishes were off the menu including the lamb cutlets and the fish partmentier. To be told the lamb always runs out by Sunday evening was not encouraging - if that restaurant always runs out why don't they stock more? The staff were lovely but the meal was average and we probably wont be back in a hurry. Shame as this has always been a good local place for a good meal.

Another good Cote meal - good food, solid service. One main course not available, but that can happen on a Sunday evening. Better value on the set / special menus than the a la carte

My friend and I had a really enjoyable meal. All the staff were efficient and didn't rush us despite the fact we were catching up after a long time.

As always the food and service very good. What was really nice was the staff noticed it was one of our parties birthday and provided a surprise chocolate pudding and sang Happy Birthday, a lovely gesture- thank you.
