Relaxed atmosphere, good food, good wine and no pressure to leave. Staff were very polite and the service was good. overall good value for money.
I have visited the Blackheath restaurant on a number of occasions - always good food, good value, friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely go back.
Efficient and friendly service without being intrusive. I had crab starter followed by spinach and mushroom crepes. Ordered chips but really did not need them. Hubby had beetroot salad followed by chicken and Dd had Stak Frites. All food hot and tasty. Will definitely return.
Was slightly slower than usual (I suspect it was the Mother's Day rush) but food was ok (could of been hotter but waiter was very friendly
Excellent breakfast and good service. Great choice of dishes (variety is extensive)and very good value. Highly recommended. Always popular at the weekend so you need to book.
Great food and service as always. We had requested a table by the window which we were given. It was our wedding anniversary and a special glass of fizz was brought to our table. Staff are very welcoming.
Excellent courteous prompt service Food excellent Atmosphere great busy but efficient Definitely best cote around here would recommend Waitress very pleasant and helpful Will return soon Birthday kit royals a great treat
Lovely French food. Very busy but service was prompt. Seemed to attract a lot of families with children but all were well behaved. Took my 95 year old mother in law, who loves it there.
Excellent food, attentive service and a great ambience. Steaks were cooked to perfection, creme brulee was out of this world. Hard to find a better brasserie in the area.
Great service and great food, loved the fact you can book online. Highly recommended and would return soon. Great location over looking the Heath. Superb
Arrived a little early but were quickly seated attentive helpful staff and food as always consistent good standard that seems to follow in all the Cote restaurants we go to.
Both the food and service was good. Even though it was a busy Friday night, we didn't feel rushed. Would go to Vote Blackheath again.
I have used Cote Blackheath several times in the past and have always found that the food is always cooked to my liking and the staff are always very helpful, a very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours with friends.
This is one of my favourite resturants the food the service and the atmosphere are delightful and the view of Blackheath (ask for a window table) while eating is fantastic.
Really lovely lunch with two friends at Blackheath Cote Brasserie. I had the special and my friends chose from the al la carte menu. We had the complementary creme caramel for desert with a glass of Monbazzillac. It was delightful. I am a regular customer.
Cote Blackheath does what a good local French cafe should do. Friendly good food at affordable price. What more can you want round the corner
Heath views . Food always enjoyable . Nice wine list. Reasonably priced for the area .On-going rewards to make it worth your while going back.
Had a lovely lunch sitting by the window in the spring sunshine. Service was friendly and the food was delicious, could not ask for more.
We like the relaxed atmosphere, where you can be as slow or quick as you want to be. Food always reliable, interest, and the menu changes regularly. Friendly and efficient service. We go there regularly.
Big group for my birthday. Staff incredibly accommodating and kind, everybody's food delicious, complimentary kit royales, a special surprise for the birthday girl.....and a bill so reasonable we thought they'd made a mistake. I eat at Cote lots....it stands out a million miles from all the other chains for the sheer quality of everything, and always feels like the sort of one-off brasserie you dream of when arriving in Paris....
We went to lunch at Cote, Blackheath, to celebrate my wife's birthday and can only describe the experience as superb. Whenever we eat out, we always mark each course out of ten, and both of us agreed that it was full marks all round. Blood orange salad, frisee and lardon salad, sea bream, chicken with provencal sauce, and desserts - dark chocolate pot and chocolate mousse - were all wonderful. Service, too, was splendid. We are taking two friends to Cote this coming Saturday evening, and can't wait to return.
Lovely evening - food always good in Côte and friendly atmosphere is always welcome. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Côte restaurants- menus change with the seasons....
We all enjoyed our meal. Really lovely food but just a little noisy in the restaurant today. The service was good and food arrived promptly
Food was excellent. We had a very enjoyable and relaxed evening we stay right until closing time. The service was excellent as well. Will return.
we would both recommend the fish stew, full of all types of fish and sea food and very tasty and served with fresh crusty bread
Food is too salty They need to check this. Great location and always busy. Ask for a window table when booking so that you benefit from a heath view
the meal was excellent, especially the starters and the service very good. The only downside was that the area we were in was rather noisy for most of the time we were there.
Breakfast for 8 including two small children. Usual excellent breakfast helped by a great waitress who was very attentive. Food was delivered quickly and no problems staying as long as we wanted.
Wonderful food and atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We love this restaurant as food is consistently good and staff very friendly. Make sure you book for weekend evenings as it was very busy!
We had a voucher for an introductory offer of a bottle of wine. The waiter had to check with the Manager about this. The Manager said OK but then the waiter said two of us had to order from the main menu. There were three of us, one had three courses from the main menu and the other two had one course from the main menu and two courses from the lunch time menu but apparently that wasn't enough to get the introductory bottle of wine. We spent over £100 but weren't entitled to the introductory offer! If we had spent less and all ordered one course from the main menu we would have got it. I can't see the point in joining to get Loyalty Points or free offers if there are various seemingly pointless conditions which have to be met. The food and service were good but the performance about the introductory bottle of wine soured the whole visit.
excellent food and service as always. busy and lively too. staff attentive but discreet. great value for money at only £10 for 2 courses. excellent.
Lovely evening - went with a girlfriend for her birthday treat - service good but unobtrusive and food delicious ...would highly recommend and go again
Unfortunately they were understaffed and every table was grumbling about the service. It took 30 minutes to get a glass of water and it was an hour before we were served food. Then when I wanted something else I was told that the kitchen staff had left. The food was nice but the experience was dismal.
Great service. Good specials on menu. Steak and fish pie were good. Will be going again soon. Could do with updating the starters on the menu
The service was slow hence giving 5/6. The food was nice as expected. It's a nice warm place to have Sunday brunch with friends and family.
It was ok. Service was a bit 'matter-if-fact' and the food was acceptable but not as yummy as usual. We will return but this was not our best visit. It happens.
Very good. Great location over looking Blackheath. It is our 4th visit, so we like the restaurant. Excellent atmosphere, the restaurant was full. The food was of a good standard, not brilliant but good. My wife had the maicourse special- Swordfish which she said was very good. I had the Duck which was sound, well done-not dry. Service was good. Only minor negative was that the Kia Royale could have done with more creme de cassis. We will return for our monthly visit.
Lovely food ,friendly service and atmosphere, sensible price great deals What more could you want Try the pork belly and the lamb shanks there awesome good values
Staff here are excellent and very courteous. Nothing is too much trouble. The food was good too. We were celebrating a birthday and all were very attentive. W e shall be back.
Visitor from China came to visitor so we took him to Cote as an experience of French Cuisine. He was very impressed with the food and the service he received. He was delighted with his true Cosmopolitan experience.
The presentation of the vegetarian breakfast was excellent as were the flavours of each component. The service, as always at Cote, was of the highest standard. Cote is a welcome addition to the many restaurants in Blackheath and never disappoints or allows standards to slip.
Great..Jasmine and Christian were excellent. 4 members of staff came and sang happy birthday, which was very sweet. A lovely lunch, will go back againXx
excellent food and staff. will return very soon. excellent
Most enjoyable visit.we were shown imm to our requested table upon our arrival .very friendly service as always with Rossie .Nice ambiance .excellent choice of menu.we will return.
Service was slow and two of our trio were served with main course with the third waiting a further 8 minutes with her meal being cold on late arrival. Two sweets were ordered and only one arrived with the second arriving later when we reminded staff two were ordered.
Went there for lunch and the service was excellent. The best French onion soup going! Overall, a great experience, we will be returning again soon.
Lovely experience- good food - good service- good ambience. French Onion soup was a winner at our table. Will definitely recommend this place to others.
Nice environment and atmosphere. Staff were helpful and unobtrusive . Food was tasty but not amazing. However I would eat here again and try another dish . My partner had fish pie which she said was very tasty. I had beof bourginion. I was a little disappointed . Would have liked a richer sauce and more of it. Overall not a bad night and there was s lovely view of Blackheath common through the window
Fantastic food. Staff who attended to us were very attentive without being intrusive. I have a number of food allergies but staff were only too happy to ensure I chose the right food.Even after we ate and drank to our heart's content we were able to continue our conversation without feeling rushed. My only criticism is the location of the toilets and size of the cubicles. Due to my present mobility problems I did find it difficult using the stairs to descend to the toilets. Also I would say that either the cubicles need to be enlarged or I need to get rid of a few "spare tyres" maybe it's the latter.
I love this restaurant. The food I'd wonderful, and the staff are so friendly. I go here at least once a week I'm part of the family now. You must try it
