Restaurant cool and airy not crowded and food up to Cote quality Pleasant Sunday lunch Duck looked particularly good and pork belly hit the mark as expected

A Brilliant meal, fantastic service by the very friendly staff , we had a lovely time - thank you very much for a great evening.

Food was amazing as always. Service was a bit slow but didn't ruin our evening. Great value for money and will be returning for sure.

our frequent breakfast place. food as usual never dissapoint us. service is ok, quite hard to flag down a waiter/waitress, only 2 person serving the restaurant when we are are there, otherwise would have given rating of 5.

restaurant was super busy. we booked for 8.30pm and only got our table near 9pm. kids were agitated as there were so hungry. would have at least expected the staff to provide complimentary dinner for the 2 kids first but unfortunately not. restaurant is very noisy makng conversations very difficult.

had dinner for 2 adults and 2 children. adults food are fine but children portion is very small. had both tolddlers and only 2 piece of small goujons and chips. would have rated 5 if children portion were a big reasonable.

We arrived for lunch to be told there was no gas so no food could be cooked, so we had to go elsewhere. I was told the restaurant had tried to contact me to let me know but I had no missed calls, texts or emails from them.

Had a lovely relaxed meal in Blackheath, sitting by the window. The onion soup, chicken salad and especially the creme caramel were really good. Will be coming again.

Pre 7pm menu offers excellent value for money. We have been to Cote loads of times now and the food is consistently very good - especially the chocolate mouse!

We booked a table late on Sunday evening and used the advantage of the complimentary bottle of wine when subscribing to the news letter. Restaurant was empty. Manager and waitress were helpful. We have ordered starters and mains. All greens on starters and mains seemed to be what was left over and could be a little bit more fresh. We have ordered pork belly and you were sold out. Salad initially came in without avocado, which was brought to us separately when asked. All in all it was a good meal, however we had better when ordered the same. Wine was really good quality.

Friendly and helpful staff, lovely food, and a great location. Always a pleasure to find a new Cote worth revisiting, convenient for a day out in Greenwich and Blackheath.

Lovely lunch as always our favourite in the village. Consistently good food & service at a fair price unlike many of the over priced chains that come and go. Sea bass was a generous portion of perfectly cooked fish my Escalope de Veau was delightful the watercress salad with it was a superb side. Pain Perdu just sweet enough the Chocolate Fondant perfect. Highly recommended

As ever the food was fine and service friendly and mostly prompt. We had asked to be at the top of the restaurant where the noise levels are bearable, unlike downstairs, and this worked well. Thanks to all.

Gave it 1 because there is no 0. Served 2 cold breakfasts in a space of 20 minutes, totally indifferent staff, won’t be going back.

We had 4 different breakfasts - veggie, French, crepes and full English and enjoyed them all. As parts of their formule they were really good value. Cote is consistent and absolutely does what it sets out to, and Blackheath is our favourite. A really good place for our family brunch.

Cote is always a good experience. Despite it being v busy, the meal was relaxed and the tables are still not rammed next to each other like some other restaurants. The food is always to a v high standard.

It was extremely noisy. Last time it was relatively quiet and we could talk. Today I left with a sore throat and my ears ringing. I was also a little disappointed with the pear salad. I love this dish but I am more familiar with it with half a pear poached in white wine with blue cheese and walnuts. I could hardly find the pear in all the lettuce! However, on the positive side the price is very reasonable and the service was good,

We had a great lunch on Friday 6th May from the set menu. Excellent food and service and incredible value. Will be returning for sure.

Very good service lovely enviroment and service, food was really nice and the resturant waiters and waitress were really helpful and very good at there job.

Wonderful - great food & service. We went there with several generations of the family for my birthday lunch recently and it was really delicious.

Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. Sat outside (under heat lamps!) as it was a lovely evening. We enjoyed a free bottle of wine having signed up to the Cote newsletters. The food is tasty and the portion size is generous. I had the prawn gratin to start followed by the belly pork - both were very good. My friend had the steak tartare followed by a steak which she raved about. The service was slightly slower than expected but this is not a negative - my friend and I had lots of catching up so we were not in a hurry. This was my second visit and will definitely go back.

Very good experience Food was tasty and delivered very professionally. We booked a 7.30pm slot on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was full, the restaurant appears to be very popular.

Very good. Good that as other chains struggle, Cote is keeping up the standard. We were surprised that the April cote offer e mail had not arrived by 7 April.

Breakfast is normally good but not today. Cold poached eggs are unpleasant and I thought that avocado on toast should be prepared and seasoned properly. Instead I was simply given a small plate with half an avocado on it.

Great food, atmosphere and service. Thoroughly recommended. Gluten free options available and clearly kept separate and flagged.

Booked the table for 7:30pm, but arrived 5 minutes early and were still seated straight away. It was my husband’s birthday and we’d booked the table with the inclusion of a free kir royale, which arrived before we’d ordered. Food was good and really tasty. I ordered from the gluten free menu and everything was flagged as such and kept separate from the ordinary food. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit with a lovely friendly waitress. They even served my husband’s Cointreau with a strawberry and a candle and sang happy birthday to him.

Food was lovely as usual however we were seated at back of restaurant and the service was much slower than usual- slightly disappointed about this as not up to usual standards.

We go to cote as often as possible. The staff in Blackheath are very friendly and helpful. As always the meal was excellent we had a very pleasant experience.

Excellent food and service! Always a good meal at Cote. We even got a free delicious dessert for my daughter as it was her birthday!

Lunchtimes can be quite busy so allow plenty of time. Food is of good quality with plenty of choices even on the set lunchtime specials.

We went here to celebrate our anniversary, staff very attentive made our night very special couldn't do enough for us. Food is high standard and very tasty

Had to set menu as we were dining early and it was brilliant value! Restaurant a bit noisy but hey it was a Friday night so that has to be expected.

Great, reasonably priced menu and wine list. Monthly specials menu also available. We were too late for the lunchtime/early evening set menu, which we have had before and is very good value. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Lovely food and great service. We always like to pop here as it’s consistently a good experience. The chicken liver parfait is my absolute fave!

Decent food, but waiting staff were so-so. There were several items off the menu (busy weekend) but the waitress didn't volunteer which items were off.

Lovely lunch with very good service. It was a shame that they didn't have our first choice of wine but the alternative was fine. To have side dishes in place of puddings was a positive.

I cannot eat dairy or wheat - so the menu was a little restricted but still plenty of choice. Only thing on the dessert menu I could eat was lemon sorbet, so I decided to pass on dessert. What everyone else had looked delicious!

Excellent food & service and at a very reasonable price ,have visited this restaurant several times & cannot fault it always very good .staff are excellent

Really good experience — the steak was cooked perfectly, the duck confit rich and flavourful without being fatty or greasy. The fish parmentier was cold but our waitress sorted it quickly and without question (and was very kindly knocked off the bill without us asking). Everyone was helpful and the food was prompt and well made.
