Excellent service for breakfast, my waitress was fantastic and the food was incredible- highly recommended this place. The Formule is great value and the French toast was delicious

A nice meal, and friendly, obliging service. This is one of the Côtes I frequent most often and it’s usually good but this has been the best yet!

First visit to this branch of Cote for some time. Both the service and food were at their usual high standard, excellent bottle of house wine.

Food was excellent, but service was very slow as they were busy. So our 2hr table slot ended up being 3 hrs ! That being said, we would go there again.

Always a good experience at Cote Blackheath, friendly staff and efficient service. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant and any others in the Cote group especially Chislehurst, St Martins Lane, Tavistock Street and Chichester

As usual the food quality was exceptional, and the service was excellent yet informal. The early evening menu was an added bonus with a good selection that was very well priced! We have been a customer for many years now and will gladly continue to do so.

It's always a great evening when we go to Cote and the staff are all so friendly and welcoming. The food is always excellent too.

Enjoy the meal, food and drinks. The service and restaurant was great afternoon for us girls. Especially with the bubbles flowing all afternoon. I would recommend the place.

Nice meal and good service. My friends and I were, however, annoyed by the noise levels of those customers with young children. There were times when you couldn't hear yourself speak and the whole place sounded like a kindergarten. In fact I was tempted at one point to go over to one of the tables on which there was a particularly belligerent child and ask if the salt pot had a secret microphone inside it as their ghastly kid could be heard the length and breadth of the building. If parents must bring their children then I think the restaurant management should kindly remind them to keep their children under control. When that couple finally left the restaurant some of the other customers applauded! Sorry to sound like a miserable old curmudgeon, but I pay my bill like everyone else and therefore am entitled to some peace and quiet when I eat out.

Another most enjoyable visit to Cote Blackheath.Very good management,friendly service,good value cuisine ,pleasant ambience .Will most certainly return and highly recommend.In a very competitive market the group deserve to do well and they appear to have the right balance.

Food wasn’t hot enough but overal experience was good. Felt the waiter needed to pay attention to what was ordered, didn’t understand one drink request and bought ice when it was clearly stated it was required.

No one appeared to be in charge .. took ages for our order to be taken .. had to get up and ask someone. Food not great .. sausages burnt and also black pudding and also not hot enough. Usually very good so perhaps this was a bad day. Also air conditioning not very well regulated... freezing if you were under the vents!

Always good but really excellent this time. Service was professional and efficient. Food was great, in particular the calamari and desserts. I highly recommend this branch of Cote!

Even though you got my name wrong they were very accommodating. The staff were very friendly and could not fault the service or the food. Good summer menu.

Lively, friendly restaurant. Food is good value and usually consistent. However my steak was so tough I had to send it back. They were apologetic but took too long to replace it. All other meals great though.

Had Sunday lunch with a colleague on a beautiful sunny day and the venue, food, atmosphere and excellent service didn't disappoint. We received great recommendation for the food and wine and couldn't have been happier. I have been there before and will definitely be back again.

Food good as always, but service not so good despite the restaurant being almost empty. Didn’t expect long waits when plenty of staff around and didn’t listen to special requests.

Service was slow - but it was clearly a busy time. In booking, I secured a voucher for a free bottle of rose. Very nice thought - except that the server then came back to say it wasn't available with your budget lunch-and-early evening menu. So I scrapped the wine. and some of our party of seven had the lunch-and-early evening, some went a la carte. Better not to offer treats if they come with conditions!

Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. But the food arrived far too quick, which made us think it was already cooked before we’d asked for it. That said, it was still very nice.

The service was good, food delicious and atmosphere lively. Only reason not a 6 is that the mains took quite a while. But would definitely go back!

Great food - don’t usually think about checking months special dishes but did today and we both chose from there and we thoroughly enjoyed our choices. Will have to check that next time too

Really like Cotes and especially the one at Blackheath so booked to go here for Father’s Day. Unfortunately on this occasion it was a disappointment. There were four of us. For the starter, my dad’s didn’t arrive with ours. The waitress kindly said that she would take it off the bill though. Then for the mains my dad and partner ordered steak. My dad’s steak came out late again. It was then full of gristle so he had to send it back and order something else. Again he had to eat on his own on Father’s Day which felt a bit naff. Then as my boyfriend was eating his steak that was gristle too! The restaurant were very nice and gave us 50% off of the bill which we were grateful for but we would have preferred a nice meal and a full bill really. I don’t think we would hurry back now.

Lovely food and staff but can get very loud. Soft furnishings would help this. This aside we also have a nice meal at cote Blackheath.

Food was nice (2nd time around, long story!) however service was non existent so much so that I could have easily & was tempted to walk out without even paying! Expensive for a chain when lots of other options for this price range or slightly more where you get much better service.

Another lovely experience at Cote. The complementary bottle of rose wine was room temperature and ended up on the Bill. The tomato starter was chilled but really should have been room temperature to bring out the the flavour of the tomato. Great concept wrongly executed. Many thanks for a delightful fish dish and superb white chocolate mousse.

we had diner on Saturday evening, our table was for 7 people. Our meal and service was excellent. I have been to Cte Brassiere on several occasions and will continue to do so.

We had the usual excellent meal we expect at Cote with quiet unobtrusive service. The group seems to be maintaining a very good standard at a difficult time for restaurants.

Took my mum for lunch today. Had 3 course set menu. Food was seasonal, fresh and tasty. Service was timely and considerate. Thank you for a nice time.

Had very late breakfast (more like brunch) at our usual favourite place. The service was very dissappointing. No plunger available for me to order my usual cafe tier. We ordered full english breakfast and 3 extra sausages for the kids. All the sausage were overcooked, very dried n half in size. Suspect it might be leftover as we ordered breakfast at 12.30noon. It wasn't a busy time but staff were chatting away and lack of attentiveness. Took us a while to flag down someone.

Great breakfast and good service. Our usual weekend hunt for breakfast and Cote never fails to deliver. The only reason i have not given 5 is the quantity of food. Full enhlish breakfast comes with only 1 sausage, thought it could be more for the price paid.

Welcoming, polite staff, great service and excellent English breakfast served exactly the way I like it, thank you. Our Polish waiter was also exceptionally helpful.

Wonderful waitress, great food and kind gestures shown towards my Mum (whose birthday it was) in the shape of Kir Royal and a lit candle on her dessert. Will be heading back again very soon.
