Côte Blackheath

Generally, the food and service in Cote in Blackheath are both excellent. In particular, on Sunday, 27th October, late afternoon, my family of 11 went for a birthday celebration. As usual, the service was excellent, even though the restaurant was very busy. Giovanna, the manager went out of the way to ensure the meal was a success. The waiter for our table was outstanding, but I can’t remember his name, (he came from Tenerife). We were all served at the same time and the food was of the usual high standard.

Service is awful. Our waitress clearly forgot to put our order through and has had to come and take it again, an hour after first giving it to her.

Food and service good one small problem with billing but quality sorted out,will keep using Cote

We used to go to another well known French restaurant all the time and never went to Côte because we thought it’d be too pricey. We were pleasantly surprised on our first visit. It’s a lovely dining experience, the food is delicious, it has a nice ambiance, the staff are great and we’ve never had any problems with our orders. The only downside is that we didn’t start coming here sooner.

Service good.. food average.. dirty tables!? We were first service but tables covered in sticky glass marks and crumbs.

Last night a party of 21 of us had a wonderful evening. The service of our preordered meal was so delightfully completed and presented with a smile. We were looked after and allowed to enjoy ourselves in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. The whole evening was good value for money. Thank you

My friend and I have been visiting Cote in Blackheath for 5 years now, we haven't lived in the area for 3 years but we still go back because we love it there so much. The food is always perfect and the staff are always friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The last two times we have visited we were served by Ami and she was amazing! She is a true ambassador for your brand, she has great knowledge, professional service but she also adds her own personal flair to the experience which made us feel so warm and welcome. We noticed throughout our meal that other guests served by Ami seemed to be having the same experience as they all made a special effort to go over and thank her personally after the meal. Its not easy to find a restaurant where you feel the staff are generally happy to be in their role and want to give excellent customer service but Ami has genuine customer service happyness in bucket loads!

Great food friendly staff and perfect setting for a chilly Sunday evening.

Hi we have breakfast two or three times a month, I always have the vegetarian breakfast. Today was bit odd one very large mushroom then very small slice of advocado and teaspoon of spinach plus sour dough was more hole than bread. It was very busy so didn’t complain to staff. It was beautifully cooked as usual just portion control seemed to have fallen down. Boyfriend really enjoyed his French breakfast. Especially the boudin noir. Good experience as usual

We had the prawn and garlic crouton starter and my partner had half chicken with garlic butter and i had the duck. Everything was amazing! The duck was cooked perfectly and the chicken wasnt dry at all. The service was also great and everyone was really attentive, we never had to wait long for someone to attend to us. We love Cote anyway but this branch in particular stands out to me! Thanks so much!

Front of house staffs were lovely and charming. Vegetarian breakfast was nice the sausage was tasty, I wish the hollandaise sauce could be better, somehow it’s a bit bland. Also I wish they could provide alternative milk for the hot drinks.

As ever, the food was excellent and the service, for the most part, very good. However as my friend and I sought to leave the restaurant after lunch no staff were available to bring our bill. Both visible staff members were engaged in prolonged conversations with other customers, and after 10 minutes I had to interrupt one of them to request the bill. The result - a very sullen response. Not experienced this before, and as a regular customer I hope that this was a one off.

good food, reasonable service. Dont understand seating policy. Despite asking for party of 3 to sit in a window seat ended up in the middle of a very noisy restaurant while the window seats remain empty for the entire time we are in the restaurant. Not young enough for public display???

The welcome cocktail was lovely as was our waitress. However the food was mediocre- it has been better in the past.
