Not one of the better meals I have had at Cote but the problem was the choices on the Set Lunch Menu which didn't really offer much for a dedicated meat eater. I and my friend both chose whitebait for a starter. This we followed by the Poulet Chasseur but the chicken legs were tasteless as was the potato puree. The real problem which makes us hesitate about patronising Cote is that it is so noisy that it is difficult to have a conversation even when it's not particularly full.

I judge a restaurant as being good if the cooking is better than my own. I am a very good cook. Today I dined at Cote Blackheath and the quality of the cooking was superb. The pork tenderloin was cooked to perfection. The potatoes were cooked very well. The chocolate sauce tasted of real chocolate. I have had so so meals in Cote but your chef is to be applauded. Long may he stay in Blackheath.

My fish was overcooked, but the replacement was excellent and we were not charged for the dish. The service was excellent

Food was ok have had better food at different branches. It was a shame when you were trying to have a conversation as the noise level was horrendous.

Friendly and polite staff, always willing to help no matter how small a problem. Food well presented and of good quality. One minor problem when the fire alarm went off. Staff were quick to reassure customers all was well and all settled down fit the rest of our meal. Have used a few Cotes and Blackheath is always that we would recommend. MJP.

We went for lunch and had the November set menu. It’s really good value and the portion sizes are excellent. I had the mushroom soup and the fish, followed by the usual creme caramel, the queen of puddings, just sooooo yummy. All in all excellent meal

As always excellent service. Slight problem that my partner had a mouthful of paper when eating his mushrooms but this was resolved to our satisfaction (and that’s the only reason this wasn’t 6 stars). Otherwise it’s a 6 star service every time we go. This oops was and is very rare.

Very good but not quite perfect. I ordered the roast duck. It was delicious but a bit on the chewy side. Apart from that a very enjoyable experience.

Food was delicious, but the service was extremely mixed. One waitress just dumped the plates down on the table knocking glasses out of the way willy nilly. It was good comedy value in some ways.

Generally food good standard, but prawn gratinee not like it used to be as it had hardly any gratinee on top. This was always my favourite starter but won’t be ordering it any more as I think it’s not like it used to be

Food was good but we were a bit rushed with the main course coming out before we finished our starters. It was quickly taken back to the kitchen. The cocktails are ok but better at other branches

Our favourite restaurant We go to it every week, especially the one in St Katharine’s Docks, however, this one is located in the very beautiful Blackheath Village and this gives you a different experience in a pleasant ambiance. I recommend it
