Great service and food. For a birthday dinner. Staff were welcoming and attentive.

Great early evening meal with family (including 2 young children). Menu is varied and food was delicious and brought promptly. Waiting staff excellent and made us all feel at ease! Lovely atmosphere and decent value for money, too!

Always enjoy my time at Cote as its a good, relaxed place to enjoy the comapny of friends and share some nice tasting plates of food.

Reliable as ever. The kitchen did the scallops without lardons for my Pescetarian partner; excellent. I tried the boeuf bourguignon for a change. Very good. The February special offer of complimentary blood orange martinis were very good.. and packed a punch. A solid, safe experience (if a little noisy as is usual on a crowded evening).

Service wasn’t very good. I and a friend had Calamari they were over cooked we couldn’t eat them.

Generally very good experience. the one negative was my daughter's half finished meal being taken away whilst she was visiting the toilet, despite the waiter having been told that she had not finished! Staff did show real concern about this problem though and provided a replacement meal and reimbursed the cost, which was all that could be expected of them, so well done.

Love this restaurant and the staff are wonderful see you soon.

Food and service very good but too noisy and this was lunch time.

It was my birthday and me and my Mum were given complimentary drinks on arrival. There was also a candle in my dessert, which was a really lovely touch. Thank you

Pleasant ambience and convenient location to find in blackheath. Did not however enjoy the seafood dishes we ordered (sea bass fillet, swordfish).

Fantastic place, really friendly, attentive staff. Vegetarian food options are great.

Me and my friend had a delicious food with lovely welcome. The portions and the service was correct. Definitely I'll tell this magnificent event to my friends and of course to recommend the Cote Brasserie as a lovely place to relax.

We were given a table in a quiet area as requested and were able to chat & socialise. The food was good - fresh and well cooked and the staff were friendly and attentive. All in all it was a very good experience. On leaving I chatted with a staff member and told her we were celebrating the birth of my grandson. She replied by saying that if the staff had known we would have been offered a free celebratory drink!

I like everything about Cotés, save this one thing: putting the service charge on the bill without leaving it to us to decide. I always prefer to chose to leave a trip myself. Often I even wish to add to the tip level you have chosen but yesterday I had no cash and your card machine system does not allow for extra tips to be added by card. The practice of effectively forcing the tip amount upon your customers is always so frustrating. If it continues, I may just exercise my right to ask for it to be removed out of this frustration, as a protest until you change it. Do you not trust your customers to give of their generosity according to their satisfaction with your service (which is usually very good)?

Had a lovely family meal for a birthday dinner. Food was very nice, I will definitely go again.

To be honest I’ve been to Cote many times since it opened in Blackheath. It’s a shame but my last visit was the third time in the last couple of years where the food wasn’t cooked properly. My wife’s chicken was overdone and the lamb I had was seriously undercooked and very tough. If this had only happened once then it wouldn’t really matter. Also on Valentines night it seemed they had seriously overbooked the restaurant with a lot of people waiting. I hope they can sort this out and get back to the great restaurant it used to be.

VERY DISAPPOINTED The food was fantastic, however the timing of the service was unacceptable. We chose the Kir Royale and wine pairing option. We were served the Kir Royale, soon after ordering, expecting a short amount of time would pass before the starters arrived. However this was followed minutes later by our starters, when we had barely started our Kia Royals, meaning that we couldn't drink the paired wine with our starter. Immediately the starter dishes were taken away, the main course arrived, we said this was too soon, and they were taken away. About 20 minutes later, the wine to go with the main course arrived, we assumed the food would be following, it was another 30 minutes or more before the main course arrived, by then the wine was warm. we were offered complimentary coffees as an apology, even these took 20 mins after ordering and one was the wrong one. We dine at Cote Blackheath around once a month, so are aware of your usual levels of service, however if this has been our first visit, we wouldn't have been returning|

Our cassoulet was not very nice - rather rubbery. We brought it to the attention of the waiting staff and they dealt with it really well, offering a replacement - at no charge- and all with a smile.

Good service and food in a great location. Booking recommended as it does get busy.

Very busy and felt a little cramped but it was valentines night so understandable Food was great apart from my wife’s sea bass was Lukewarm But duck was excellent

Lovely evening celebrating two birthdays. Very good service, cheerful and efficient staff. All five of us ate different meals. We were all very pleased.

As always a lovely meal although the fish gougons were rather large and a little dry. Certainly couldn't eat them all - far too much. Complimentary cocktail was divine darling!

As always, attentive staff, window table request at booking not honored, but a decent located table for 4 provided. Food good, service tried to hurry the process, and it took a request to obtain a smile from the server. Too clinical and cold for your outlet's reputation. But all in all, ok, and we will go back, as the location is fabulous to take visitors to a restaurant in Blackheath

Raw bacon when we’d asked for it to be well-done, over-cooked eggs rubbery. Although the response was to replace these, only one egg to replace 2 and bacon for 1 to replace for both plates. Hugely disappointing.

We brought our grandchildren last night and all had a lovely time. The food and the service were excellent and the cocktails good too. We thought the new menu was excellent.

We had a lovely time celebrating my step-daughter’s 18th birthday. The food was delicious, service was very good and sm uebce was great.
