The waitress was so efficient and lovely. Food was fantastic as always. Great value for money. Quick service and great environment. It was a great evening.

We are regular customers at Cote Blackheath. We went there this morning and had a lovely breakfast as usual. The food is amazing, the staff are lovely, particularly Amy, Giovanna and the blonde Romanian lady. Thank you all for a consistently excellent experience. See you next week no doubt!

Beef Bourginion is amazing, love it! Like the Blackheath branch, nice to look out over the heath if seated at front of restaurant. House Sauvignon was very good. This is quite a regular meeting place for my friends and I. Can't wait till next time!

Excellent manager lovely staff,very helpful and made it a lovely day even bought a birthday cake yum ! The staff seem extremely happy even on a Sunday lol !

Lovely, casual dining that manages to feel quite special. The dishes are prepared and presented well and is good quality and the price is great value. I have always had a wonderful eating experience at Côte Brasseries.

Great food and breakfast deal, but things to improve on: - If staff are on their phones it is better if they do that away from view of diners; - waiting staff could be more conversant with iPad (ours was quite uncomfortable taking our order which made things not smooth; - wrong order delivered to the table (correct order given to the kitchen) Simple things that can be rectified but otherwise a pleasant breakfast.

We all had a lovely evening (4 friends) and enjoyed cocktails and then red wine accompanied by delicious ribeye steak and trimming with perfectly cooked vegetable selection followed by deserts with a glass of champagne! A fabulous evening! Excellent food and service. I’m a regular customer!

As always great food and place to eat. The only negative was getting a beer that wasn't cold and then feeling the need to say please make sure the beer is ice cold when asking for further drinks.

great food and great atmosphere, always come here when I am in Blackheath

Simply everything went well. You answered the phone, the service was warm and friendly and helpful in advising us about the food and the wine. And the cuisine was very good indeed. We shall be back - well, we have been twice in the last week!! Keep up the good work.

Food & service as good as always. my 4 year old Grandaughter was catered for & entertained with Cote puzzle/sticker & colouring book in the form of a special letter within an envelope.

Ordered the pork belly which I had a few times before and although the skin was nice and crispy the fat was not rendered down and the plate was swimming in a pool of grease, which was very unpleasant. Offered free desert, creme brulee, this too was over scorched which resulted in a very bitter sugar top. Very disappointed as this was a gift our children had bought us for christmas and we usually love Cote.

Excellent food and service. I had the prawn starter special which was amazing. The others all had steak and I understand was wonderful. The staff are helpful and attentive. A good value meal.

We visit Cote in Blackheath two or three times a week and it is our favourite restaurant. In Blackheath there are many restaurants but Cote is the number 1. Blackheath is the cultural and gastronomic centre of south east London. We've lunched at Cote London Bridge, Cote Bluewater and Cote Peterborough but they lack the edge which Blackheath Cote has. The chef is amazing. Someone who clearly loves cooking. The manager and staff are professional and welcoming. The restaurant is immaculately clean and is in a prime situation facing the heath. We love it.

Lovely evening with friends. Food delicious. 2 of us had the mushroom brioche starter which was v good but very small even for a starter. Felt a bit short changed. We then had the salmon fish cake which again was delicious but little extra on the plate. We hadn’t ordered extra veg as it hadn’t been offered in the order taking. And we were too distracted with our socialising to pick it up. Once the food arrived and we saw what was on the plate we ordered chips to go with it which arrived some time after. The staff were courteous and friendly but some clearly lacking in experience. Hence the issues. I’ve only completed this as I do like to use Cote in Blackheath but felt the issues did affect the meal overall.

Long while since we have been to a Cote, and it won’t be as long next time. The food was excellent, a good variety. We had a party of 8, all had different things, and all liked what they had. It was well presented, well cooked and quality ingredients. All round a good experience.

Our meal was for a birthday and a party of 16 people. Everything was perfect and we had a lovely evening.

Overall...as usual very good. One 'fly in the ointment', which we failed to mention. My husband had the herb chicken wrapped in bacon. He was happy with the dish apart from the potatoes, which were grey and looked old. They didn't taste off, but the flavour wasn't adequate. As we were celebrating our friends birthday he decided not to draw attention to it. We hope that this note will highlight that issue and it won't happen again.

Service was great but the steaks were overcooked and chewy. A real shame as we asked for rare steaks and got steaks that were medium/well done. The rest of the food was nice but nothing special. The servers were polite and efficient.

We love Cote. We go once a week. We have lived in France and love French food and it is very well done at Cote. It is really good value with lots of choice and just enough monthly changes to the Menus to keep us interested. Well done.
