Lovely meal good value. Service was excellent. A lovely evening
Good food and friendly staff. Welcoming atmosphere and the service is good too. I love this place! I come here on a regular basis for lunches and dinners and never been dissapointed. Highly recommended.
Everything was very good, we had Breton Fish Stew and it was very tasty! The atmosphere is always very nice and the food comes really quick!
Excellent evening at Cotes Brasserie Blackheath on Friday evening. Service was superb, food great with plenty of choice. Crab mayo was followed by the Breton fish stew.
Great experience ss always, lovely location and nice environment. My partner is a coeliac sufferer, so your Gluten Free menu is great for her to have.
Very good food. Quality of food is outstanding and the service is wonderful. The staff are very friendly and very kind. And it is a great restaurant
Very nice atmosphere, staff very welcoming and attentive and food was great! Thumbs up from the family! Most definitely will be back again. Thank you for looking after us!
Very good and friendly, very quick to accommodate us with our requests, meal was lovely and was a very nice chilled evening, will definitely come back!!
We are regular customers at Cote Blackheath. We went there this morning and had a lovely breakfast as usual. The food is amazing, the staff are lovely, particularly Amy, Giovanna and the blonde Romanian lady. Thank you all for a consistently excellent experience. See you next week no doubt!
Perfect Sunday late lunch with hubby. Great food, enjoyed the May specials, fine glass of wine and the May special cocktail.
Unfortunately it was not the good experience we had hoped for. We had booked a table for 4 people (as a birthday treat) at 12:30 on Sun 3 March. Our food order was taken quite long after we'd arrived - at least 15 minutes - however we were chatting so were not overly concerned. But then our starters arrived piecemeal - and delayed - a 5/10 min gap between one and the other two - I would estimate around 1:15 ... these were whisked away almost as soon as I'd put my fork down - so assumed this meant our main meals were ready - but unfortunately this was not the case. There was a further long delay - at least 20 - 25 mins - we did enquire and were told they were still being prepared. When the food did arrive the plates were very hot - yet one meal was cold - everything on the plate - lamb and vegetables cold. We complained and were told it could be recooked - but as three of us already had our food it would n=mean one would be eating alone after - and as this food had taken over an hour to cook we were dubious about another delay. So the plate was taken away and returned after 5 mins with the meat slightly warmer but the vegetables as cold - the meal was removed from the bill. It seems the kitchen was struggling - which is a shame as we have enjoyed meals there previously. The restaurant was not full however. We left without a dessert around 2:25 - a long and disappointing experience.
The food was very nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. That was the first time i had every been to a cote. I will be returning very soon.
Went to the restaurant this evening. The food was great, service was excellent . The team worked really well together. Keep it up! :) can't complain....
Waitress/manageress who waited on us was absolutely lovely. I had mentioned it was my friend’s 50th birthday breakfast when I booked and she made a fuss of my friend which was lovely. Breakfast was lovely and the coffee very tasty. Was great sitting in window looking out over the heath and the church. Will definitely be back! Thank you to the very lovely waitress: manageress. She is a credit to Cote!
The food at Cote in Blackheath was very good and also quite reasonably priced. I would have liked more options for starters that were not fish or seafood, but the choice of main courses was good. I would definitely return another time.
We are regular eaters at Cote, Blackheath and have always enjoyed our meal experience and the ambience of the place. Our meal last night was of good quality and exceeded our expectations. The only disappointing point to another fine evening meal was a delay in the service of our dessert, which was most unusual. When raised with a staff member the oversight was swiftly rectified and due apology made. It happens sometimes and no real harm done.
Fabulous staff great food good value good for kids and really lovely attention.
Excellent. I have tried other branches, such as Bluewater, and have always been satisfied with the food and service. Blackheath is just as good, if not better. More, it was my birthday and the staff put a surprise lit candle on my dessert. Good thing it wasn't a coffee!!! I will certainly be coming again - and recommending it to my friends. .
Thank you very much for hosting my daughter's 15th birthday dinner she had a lovely time and really appreciated the special cake with a candle at dessert.
We were somewhat overlooked as our table was at the back corner of the restaurant. Then water and the complimentary Rhubarb Martini cocktail arrived and our food and drinks order was taken. We elected a mid price bottle of Provencal Rose but my companion said it could have been more chilled. We had to stop our waitress from pouring more wine into our glasses to enable the wine to chill in the bucket. My soup was tepid and had to be returned to the kitchen and was hot enough but taste wise was OK. Our sea bream main course was delicious. Not the best experience at this branch of Cote hence lower scores
Very pleasant lunch. Courses nicely spaced out. Never felt rushed.Staff very nice meal was very good. Good price. Everyone enjoyed it will be back again. Thank you
Great service and food. Would recommend for anyone looking for a nice place to grab a bite to eat and catch up with friends and family
Côte really does make an effort and celebrating a birthday at Côte is something I’d highly recommend. The complementary kiri royales arrived a minute after we took our seats. I chose the special to start; magnificent scallops. Super tasty. My parents opted for crab mayonnaise which is always excellent. My poulet to follow was delicious as ever. I finished with the creme brûlée with raspberries, another special which was divine. Unexpectedly a chocolate desert arrived with a candle which was most unexpected and I felt truly spoilt. Back next year I think.
Our experience on this particular evening was not great... service was slow / we had to wait 35minutes before anyone came over to offer u a drink. Food was average. Not the experience we’ve been used to at this venue
Location Great enjoyed our complimentary May cocktails. Starters good charcuterie, main courses ok Steak frites over cocked not pink albeit tasty Lamb dish ok

Waiters always attentive. Never wait long for food and it is always up to standard and tastes amazing. Always greeted with a smile and if you need something nothing is ever too much for the staff.
First time visit to Cote Brasserie on Blackheath Common. Pleasant location, bright and airy restaurant dining area, great service from Amy and staff, round tables available and most of all a good choice of food and drink options on both the lunch and a la carte menus. Had the cherry tomato salad starter, followed by the sea bream and finished with the ice cream and sorbet...all very tasty and nicely presented. Others in our party had the avocado starter or the pea and mint soup plus the omelette meite main, all of which received praise. To cap a great experience, we had a couple of bottles of the French white, one of which was complimentary due to our first visit which made the whole occasion even more memorable.
Absolutely love Cotes, We were greeted by excellent staff, our food and service was very good. The breakfast is also excellent, will definitely be returning soon
It was a bit dissapointed with the Menu kids, the mash potatoe was instantanic instead of home made. I wasnt expected that from Cote blackheath.
AS usual, prawn starter is excellent, sea bass skin as crisp as I have ordered. The deserts we had could be less sweet. Overall, the experience has not changed from our usual expectations. Wong x 3
As always we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We were a little overlooked at times but the restaurant was very busy last night. Fish Parmentier was gorgeous.
We always enjoy the food at Cote; the March Lamb 'Special' with fennel was excellent. The complementary St Germain Elderflower liqueur and gin cocktail was really good for both a gin and non-gin drinker. My slight grumble is that I often find the Quandoo booking site causes me problems. On my phone, it was not at all clear how to put in my mobile number successfully. (Do you need to search down to highlight UK.. do you need +44.. do you need a '0', etc). This time, I somehow booked 1st May not 1st March! The staff kindly fitted us in. Very fortunate as booking is essential at weekends; arrivals without reservations were offered much later times..
First time at the Blackheath Cote and it was excellent. The food and service was great. Very friendly staff.
Very good service I love this restaurant and the quality of the food.
Excellent food! But partially spoiled by the poor service at the start: we sat down, made our choices from the menu and were ready to order but we were still waiting to be offered a drink, even a drink of water; I tried attracting attention because we had been quick in choosing so imagine my surprise when an adjacent table which had arrived 5 minutes after us sat down and had ordered within 2 minutes of being seated! This was even though I had been trying to attract attention! Not happy! However, the staff were extremely attentive and helpful after I had managed to complain and they made certain that our bill was adjusted to compensate. Thank you in the end!
Absolutely amazing as always Thank you to the whole team for looking after us See you soon Si and Dave
Lovely, casual dining that manages to feel quite special. The dishes are prepared and presented well and is good quality and the price is great value. I have always had a wonderful eating experience at Côte Brasseries.
Fabulous food very good table and lovely welcome. Just short of 6 stars due to slower service just at the end but very pleasant staff.
Delicious food, good service and welcoming atmosphere. My fillet steak was perfectly cooked exactly to my specification. As always the food is served very hot.
As this was our first visit since our last disappointing meal. I was more than a little annoyed to be told yet again that certain items were not available. Now as much as we appreciate that these maybe your signature items surly that has to be taken into account when ordering? The manager Angelos did supply us with a glass of wine each which was appreciated. We encountered some new staff and found them to be very attentive. As we was celebrating a birthday and our cousin visiting from Canada it was pleasing to see that Cotes stepped up to the plate and delivered what we had promised our cousin. Overall a very nice meal and enjoyable evening. I would always recommend Cotes Blackheath to my friends. You just need to get your ordering correct. Thanks.
As always a very friendly and enjoyable experience. Unfortunately the choice of "specials" seem to becoming a little limited and samey. Prawn starter suddenly has lots of croutons and less prawns. Chicory with walnuts and Roquefort seems to have added croutons and less walnuts (although the sauce is still fantastic). Fish pie needed a good 5 minutes resting time to cool down before you could taste what you were eating. Prefer your previous quality over quantity.
Lovely evening with good attentive and friendly service. Always consistent and welcoming
Today’s visit was unfortunately not great. On my last visit I had issues with the service offered- had to wait a long time for food to arrive and it was wrong when it did and there was a lack of waiting staff around my table and others. Today the service was much better but unfortunately 2 plates of food for main course were poor. The cod goujons were over cooked and the steak frite was returned as it was was tasteless and very chewy and peppercorn sauce poor. The other two courses were very good in fairness. Côte is certainly one of the better restaurants in Blackheath but the lack of consistency is becoming a concern and we are regular customers. I
I had never visited a COTE restaurant before, I have to say that we had a wonderful lunch, the staff and food were outstanding. A big thank you to George who was the manager on the day 18 June 2019 John Marsh
Very good ; but a little noisy Good service and food well prepared and hot . Lovely spot overlooking Blackheath. Would go back again and recommend to others
We spent mother’s day at Côte in Blackheath, what a treat. Fantastic service delicious food, best place in Blackheath ! I would highly recommend it to anyone !
Good service and good food but still could do more gluten free, veggie options. Would also be nice to see healthy smoothies included on breakfast menu.
