It was great to be back again after so long. Food was delicious, and arrived quickly. Service was very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble - even asking for well done toast which we got and were delighted with! Thanks again for another wonderful breakfast.

So pleased that Côte Brasserie is back! I had the most delicious ribeye and my friend had the lobster which was equally delicious and we finished with a traditional dessert of crème caramel, which tasted the best ever, absolute bliss’. House wine is excellent too. Brilliant food and service, thank you!

I come for lunch with my elderly mother once a month, and occasionally with my wife and child, too, for dinner. We last visited around February. It was the first time my mother has been out for six months. She had a delightful time, ate more in an hour than she usually does in a week, and said the food was better than ever. So glad to see you getting back to normal after lockdown.

Great to be back. Fully understand the need for a reduced menu but was disappointed that the dish I wanted to order was sold out at 1.30pm

I hadn’t realised how much I had missed Cote. The service & food was as excellent as ever. My Grandaughter, who is five years old, was looked after well & all waiting staff were helpful & attentive. We felt safe but relaxed in the new COVID safety environment too. We will be back regularly.

Really glad it's open again. It was reasonably full especially given it was a Tuesday. The food was as good as ever. And great to see many of the old staff back.

Very pleasant experience - the staff was attentive and good to see they were careful with their Covid procedures ie wiping down tables and chairs after each settings.

We were delighted to eat at Cote, Blackheath SE3 today when you finally re-opened. The service was great, the food was well up to your usual standards and we enjoyed the added benefit of the "Eat out..." discount, although that merely meant that we ate and drank a lot more than usual, so we both benefitted! The staff really were good. It was so enjoyable to see many familiar faces who we recognise from past visits, as well as several new employees. Please thank all of the front-of-house, waiting, bus-boys/girls and kitchen personnel. The management team also deserve thanks; it was clear from brief discussion with staff that you are treating then fairly. We learned that most have been furloughed, and many of the staff we saw said that they were temporarily appearing at Blackheath pending their own permanent branch re-opening; a very constructive tactic on your part. We first reviewed the then new-ish Cote in SE3 on Tripadvisor in 2013, with the hope that you would maintain its initial high standards in a locally competitive market. As we said again in our review in 2015, you have done just that and continue to do so; keep it up!

Didn’t go as restaurant wasn’t open and we never received notification that the restaurant was still closed. A waste of of time and it We had to find another restaurant instead

As always the food and service very good. What was really nice was the staff noticed it was one of our parties birthday and provided a surprise chocolate pudding and sang Happy Birthday, a lovely gesture- thank you.

Great food- portion sizes were perfect and the dishes were full of flavour. The February Special black pudding starter was particularly good! The service was also excellent and very friendly.

We were a party of eight for a birthday and altho several of the things we wanted on the menu had run out, the staff were really helpful and made an effort to sort out similar replacement meals. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. Highly recommended thank you

I had a voucher for a free bottle of wine but it was added to the bill. I had to ask for it to be removed which spoilt the evening.

The service was good but as it got a bit busier it was evident that 2/3 more staff would have helped ease the pressure and maintained a higher level of service. It was pretty noisy but to be expected when full.

I can do no more than repeat my 2015 TripAdvisor review; as it's still great; so here goes "We reviewed Cote in Blackheath, SE London after our first visit two years ago, and gave it 5 stars with the optimistic comment that we hoped they could keep the high standard up, given that Blackheath isn't short of competition. And wow- they have! Great staff, good service, and outstanding quality and value. We're picky about food, and can be snobby about chains (given that this is a chain restaurant) but we can't fault Cote so we keep coming back, as a duo, or with friends, who then all return themselves or with family". We have regularly eaten at this branch of Cote and had some really good meals. Last evening two main dishes were off the menu including the lamb cutlets and the fish partmentier. To be told the lamb always runs out by Sunday evening was not encouraging - if that restaurant always runs out why don't they stock more? The staff were lovely but the meal was average and we probably wont be back in a hurry. Shame as this has always been a good local place for a good meal.

Lovely atmosphere from the minute we entered and we were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our window seat as requested. The food and drink were delicious and good size portions.

Another good Cote meal - good food, solid service. One main course not available, but that can happen on a Sunday evening. Better value on the set / special menus than the a la carte

Usually very good but service very poor, wrong food delivered, chicken for kids over cooked,bread forgotten about and had to wait for a long time to get table cleared and pay bill.

Could not redeem voucher for martinis as I chose from set menu I think valued customers should be rewarded in some way. My bill came to excess of £160 for 4 so think a martini should be in order! Disappointed with that.

Drinks served after food arrived Food hot breakfast and eggs Benedict were served cold. Had we not been a rush this food would have been sent back. Situation resolved the discretionary discount on bill but by far not the usual quality on any level from Cote blackheath

had a really lovely meal here my only small issue was our waitress didn’t seem to really understand much English didn’t seem to know what a white wine spritzer was but she was sweet enough.

I took my mum's for lunch in blackheath and was very impressed with the food and attentiveness of the staff. A little bit noisy is my only negative. But all in all a lovely meal and would recommend.

The warm welcome carried out throughout the dinning experience. The June special menu was very good value and delivery was excellent. Very enjoyable evening.

An excellent menu making choice very difficult. The food was good and the drinks also. As a table of four, we found ourselves a little cramped for room. The service was good, although a little slow, due to the fact that the place was very busy. I have been there before and I would definitely go there again.

My friend and I had a really enjoyable meal. All the staff were efficient and didn't rush us despite the fact we were catching up after a long time.

Lovely food, our main course was delicious. The starters were little cold, however over all we had a pleasant evening.
