Excellent level of service as always - the back of the restaurant however does not have the same ambience as the front half of the restaurant - ask for a table near the front!

We are always well looked after at Cote Blackheath ☺Good choice of dishes - something for everyone. Would like to see the return of seafood linguine though.

Location, food, wine and service all very good. Choices sufficient, quality of dishes matched description in the menu. Not quite clear what more can say about an excellent dining experience!

Always as expected. Well cooked & presented with efficient service. Pleasant view over the Heath, not cramped table seating. We had the breakfast, good value to include juice & hot drink

As always with Cote, good quality food at good value - service is earnest, but could have been a bit more professional - maybe they were new staff, but there was no doubting their good intentions, so it did not spoil our experience at all.

As always - good food at a very good price with excellent service. House wine very acceptable. Conversation a bit difficult due to background noise (busy location) but not a significant detraction from the overall experience.

Had a lovely meal at Cote, starting with birthday Kir Royales with good starters of crab and pear, cheese, leaves and hazelnut. Followed by a slightly overcooked fish and a steak which was again slightly overcooked. We washed this down with Sancerre Rose, then went for the summer Pavlova from the June specials menu. This was the star of the show - generous, delicious and with enough bite from the summer berries to cut through the cream and meringue. The table by the coffee machine is away from the main restaurant and so quieter.

We had a very lovely lunch. The seafood linguine was delicious as was the baked camembert. My friend and I regularly eat out at the Cotes restaurants in Covent Garden. So it made a lovely change to eat closer to home. We talked and talked and talked until we were the only ones left in the restaurant. At no point did the waiting staff encourage us to leave. So thank you.

I had a full English breakfast which is normally delicious but unfortunately today it was cold. When I told the waiter a hot breakfast was served within 15 minutes and I was not charged for the meal. This was unusual for Cotes as I have always been very pleased with the food but as usual the service was very good.

Excellent food and service. Very busy for Tuesday lunchtime, which was good to see as a crowded restaurant indicates good food and good service. Prices are very reasonable - in fact the set three-course lunch with unlimited water would set you back no more than £15. We were very impressed.

I have eaten in Côte restaurants many times, in Blackheath, Cambridge, Chislehurst, Norwich and elsewhere in the UK; the food and wine are always excellent, the service usually very good and Côte is good value for money. The Blackheath restaurant is nearest me these days and is always busy with a lively atmosphere. I would like a greater choice of aperatives, and Campari in particular would be nice, but otherwise I can find no fault.

All too frequent (minor) problem - everything goes like clockwork until you want to leave, then your server disappears, and you have considerable difficulty getting the bill and paying. But - although I wish restaurants would address this problem! - don't let this put you off, food is tasty, well presented, and good value for money.

Really enjoyed my lunch time visit today. We were welcomed and seated and the waiter brought water to our table promptly. Our order was taken and the first course arrived quickly. The food was delicious (we had the set menu) and we appreciated the range of dishes on offer and that there were several vegetarian options. I will definitely return.

Particularly noisy, parents allowing their children to scream and cry. The restaurant is at fault as they seem not to serve the children first when bringing the food to the table. Noticiblly quieter when they eventually get their meal. Otherwise the food was it's normal good standard.

Poor table. Ignored by waiter who was then quite rude and abrupt. Then we were told that Steak frites was "finished" when it was 7pm on Friday night. On enquiring with the manager we were told this was incorrect. We like Cote but this was a really bad experience. So we left.

Good quality food and excellent service, despite being a very busy Good Friday. However when booking I requested a quiet table in the raised area of the restaurant. When we arrived this area was completely full. We were shown to a table in the main dining area which was very noisy. It was so noisy that my friend could hardly hear what I was saying. Such a pity as Cote at Blackheath is our favourite one.
