Pissaladiere dry and overcooked rest ok. Had starter and main but no pudding. Service competent until time pay the bill - all missing for a while. Will go back but could do better

One of our waitresses seemed new and her English seemed rather hesitant. Perhaps she could have benefited from some (more) support from her colleagues. She clearly had some experience in the job however.

A relaxing atmosphere to enjoy brunch with family on a circular table by the window with a good view of the heath. The food was as good as usual and attentive service

Great food, great service and a great location - the views across Blackheath are superb and a short walk from the Greenwich Park, I can't find fault with it.

Liked everything, thank you. We are fairly regular diners with you. DON'T LIKE the incessant drumming noise constantly playing in competition with diners having conversation.

Excellent food as always. Booking is seamless. Ordered English breakfast, food portion is slightly small as it only comes with a single sausage. Otherwise would have been perfect.

Excellent service, food and drink, great location. Very good choice of dishes and good specials. Background noise (music) is difficult for older people to have a conversation!

Always good food,never disappointed. Only problem was the wrong salad came as a first course, soon rectified. This cote is our favourite, we would love you to open one in Norfolk!

Found as usual that we enjoyed our meal, and the service was also up to the usual efficient standard. This restaurant is always a very reliable choice when contemplating dining in Blackheath.

A nice quiet celebratory dinner in Blackheath with good food and good wine. Highly recommended place to eat with good service and reasonable prices. The merlot is pretty good too.

We have been to other Cote restaurants in the past. Their food is tasty, the Blackheath branch didn't disappoint. Great service. This restaurant is on several levels so can be noisy on a busy night. Worth a visit.

cote hosts an great a la carte menu, specials change monthly which is good for variery, robust flavours, good ambiance and a fantastic service from the whole team!

It was too noisy..we had to move table ! Service today was rather haphazard and slow...I had to get up 3 times to ask for service. It was tempting to ask for the voluntary 12 1/2% to be removed.

Cote Blackheath is our favourite restaurant, but however today our experience was not as good as it usually is. Hopefully this was just a one off.

A very pleasant dinner. The choices on the menu were varied, & catered for everyone. The house wine was lovely and service excellent despite being busy. Delightful ambience.

This local venue is a welcome addition to the Blackheath eating scene. The food is consistent just a pity the service isn't. Would we go back - yes, we'd just hope we got a different waiting team!

One of the best Cotes - lovely Blackheath setting. Bread & Olives, Pissaladiere, Hake + Green Beans, Crumble aux Peche AND Coupe Noire then Fresh Mint tea - well at 4pm (nice & quiet!) it was both late lunch & early dinner! Pleasant staff who rarely interrupted - very enjoyable.

Good food, unobtrusive service and friendly atmosphere. What's not to like? Excellent place to go for Sunday lunch. Pity about the 25 word minimum. Ha!

Another excellent evening in Cote, celebrating my father in law's eighty ninth birthday. Good food, friendly and attentive staff. The Cote tenth anniversary menu was good value.

Great food great service - the restaurant was really busy but nothing was too much trouble. The cod gougons were very fresh, the minted peas were delicious.

The service was really bad and also kept having to ask for things as we wasn't given it! Would think twice about returning to your blackheath branch!

They were very accommodating to my family, especially my 3 year old niece, always smiling and laughing when she was pulling faces! The staff are very friendly and the food is fantastic. I would definitely go again.

Friendly staff, attentive and pleasant whilst serving. Restaurant appeared clean and easily to move to get to our table. We ordered two glasses of house wine and once served we had time to take in the menu before ordering. Meal was fine and left content.

Great welcome from friendly staff, very attentive throughout the evening. Wine was served in a cooler, nice touch. Food tastes great although the pork belly was slightly over done.

We received a warm welcome and had a nice table by the window. The food was very good. The waited asked if I would like a side order and I said I liked spinach but not creamed and he said he could offer it steamed which I accepted and it was excellent. One slight criticism was the waiter started to fill my glass I.e. Not pouring a small amount for me to taste. As I say it was a minor detail. Overall we had as usual a very lovely time.

I booked this for a birthday with my partner who has just had a newborn baby . Been to some of your other sites is the reason we came for the steak tartare and tuna salad and tuna carpaccio the food was ok to be honest not like other the sites . The tartare was so bland taste of nothing . The Tabasco was the only taste I got that I added my self along with the salt and pepper . The tuna carpaccio was very nice then mains come I had Provençal chicken what I have to say the chicken was so bland and tasteless my partners food was ok . She was just happy to be able to eat the things ha she hasn't ate in months . Bit disappointed to be honest

The food was excellent and good value. The service was very friendly and helpful. My only criticism was that the service was a bit slow. This is understandable though as we sat outside and it was a busy Saturday night. I would definitely go back there again.

Cote maintains its quality and value despite stiff local competition in this London village. Very competent food, and great staff (who tend to stay in post a long time, so the management must also be doing something right).

Excellent food well presented, reasonable size portions at good prices. Service is prompt and efficient yet non obtrusive. Noise level is buzzy but satisfactory unless seated close to a large celebratory party.

Very good experience. Excellent choice on the menu fro light continental to full English - and something called full French including boudin noir! Best place in Blackheath for breakfasts.

asked for a window seat , but hey ho, cannot always get one. was seated at the rear lower part which I specificly asked not for, noisy and claustrophobic. waiter was great and the food also. pity about the toilets downstairs, but that has always been so, unfortunately as you get on in years it makes just that bit more of an effort. will not put me off as this my favourite restaurant in the village, especially after trying Aqua last week, never again.

Not so keen this time this branch. Service was too jumbled a mass of differing people. Most branches you have one person looking after table. Good food though
