Service was chaos, somebody from the kitchen was delivering the food to the tables, not sure which table to deliver it to. Difficult to get attention of staff . will not be returning.

Vegetarian breakfast was a great alternative to those trying to be a bit more healthy. The veggie sausages were particularly good! Breakfast pricing very reasonable for the quality of food and ambience

Another excellent meal at Cote, to me they are the best restaurant chain, they always provide the best menu's and food quality, easily our favourite

Good food. Excellent waiting service and good lunchtime value. Rather noisy but the restaurant was rather full at 2.0 The choice of food in the menu was perfect for us and our guests.

Generally a very good location & ambiance . Food & price very competitive. Staff always pleasant & very helpful. The evening would have been perfect but for three very loud ladies, who were upsetting many customers!

Can always be relied upon to produce excellent food and wine at a very reasonable price, with service to match. Last night was no exception. Four of us dined there and we all agreed the food was great. The service was, as ever, brilliant. Thank you Cote for another lovely evening.

Lovely food and wine. Three of us had the early evening menu and it was great value for money. Experience slightly spoiled by waitress clearing plates whilst one of our group of four was still eating . Air con was rather strong.

We had a lovely meal with excellent service. Although busy the restaurant staff were cheerful and helpful giving us time to look at all the menus and make our choices.

Absolutely amazing As always the food and staff are first class As a wheelchair user I find this is one of the rare restaurants thst take the time and date to get a ramp ready and look after you I won't use any other restaurant in Blackheath. Vegetarian choices not great and worse still, after my son had ordered mozzarella and mushroom salad, he was told they had run out of mozzarella. They substituted with goats cheese which he isn’t keen on. The green part of it was just a mountain of lettuce. It didn’t look very appetising. Cote needs proper advice and an injection of imagination for vegetarian dishes. The other 7 in the party had a great experience though.

Inflexible attitude of staff. It appears although the full breakfast comes with 2 eggs you can’t just have 1. My partner was asked if he would eat one of my eggs! Also the food was lukewarm.

The food as all ways was very tasty and we'll presented the staff were very good only 1 point they did not give us the special offer of drinks with a le cart memu But we do not go to any restaurants

Efficient and friendly service. Food good and not pretentious . Decor pleasant and very clean . We will definitely be making many more visits in the future.

Delightful lunch. Food well presented, and served piping hot-not always easy to do. Generous servings. We could hear ourselves talk, without shouting across the table. Excellent value for money.

Quite good although quality of food is somewhat hit and miss. Cod goujons were very dry with little flavour. However, dining partner said fillet steak was good.

It was good.. bit disapointed with fried calamari as they were too oily ( breadcrumbs soaked in oil a lot) rest of the food was good. Very good fish stew.

As usual with Cote the meal was very good and the service was excellent. It's a very well situated restaurant - lovely to look out onto the heath on a beautiful sunny day.

Delicious meal, Breton fish stew well worth having. Even better with the free gin and elderflower. A very enjoyable evening which we will be tepeating

Food and service excellent. Noise levels made conversation difficult. We have noticed this problem in the Oxford branch also. Perhaps you need to install some kind of noise reduction material to walls or ceiling.

lovely food on the prestige set menu and we enjoyed the complimentary st Germain gin and tonic. We had been allocated a window table as requested. Only reason not 6 was that towards the end of meal it got rather noisy.

Superb service and lovely food; the set menu and Chablis were both also great value; not sure what else I need to say, will be back very soon

Overall a nice lunch. Our waiting staff didn't really smile, so I didn't feel hugely welcome, but the food was good. Both of us had a steak which was delicious, even if we lost about 20% of one to fat. A nice restaurant, it wasn't very busy and we enjoyed ourselves.

Lovely , tasty food. It was my friends bday so a lovely glass of pink bubbly was provided. Great value for money with mid week deals. Good table away from door. Great mid week night out with friends

Excellent food and beveridges served up by highly competent and pleasant waiting staff. We, being a party of four, elected to choose from the fixed price 2 course lunches and while the choice was limited we had little difficulty in making our selections. Three went for the grilled chicken salad and one for the cod. No one was disappointed with the quality and quantity of the servings. We d certainly recommend Cote which is non-pretentious and offers excellent value for money.

Our visit to Cotes was a celebration of a birthday and wedding anniversary. There was 5 in our party with one person in a wheelchair. The staff were very welcoming and made sure that the table was right for us and our friend in the wheelchair had plenty of room. As always the service and food was excellent. We were at the restaurant for about 3 hours and although it was busy we did not feel rushed and made to feel that they wanted the table. Excellent value and definitely worth at least 1 visit after which you will be hooked.

Food as always was lovely and affordable. Also nice to get the gin and elderflower drinks as part of the offer. Highly recommended. Staff could have been more attentive but perhaps there weren't enough on the day.

Lovely food and wine good, although my first glass of house white was warm ish, when I asked for another glass but make it cold please, it was better. It’s surely not rocket science to check that all white wine is kept refrigerated for many hours before serving?

Great staff, lovely atmosphere, really thoughtful about dealing with us, lovely views of the heath and the sunset. Dealt very well with my partners gluten free needs.

I think cote is particularly good for meat eaters. The breaded chicken breasts were rated very good by others in our group. I am a vegetarian and as i dont eat shellfish i feel i never get the best meal.
