it was a very pleasant experience, a good unhurried catch up with friends. Good food, good wine, good company, good atmosphere, what's not to like?

Staff were friendly and welcoming and the service was excellent. We all enjoyed the food, a really pleasant evening out - thank you!

Excellent meal off the early evening menu, just the right sort of food for a summer evening. Very pleasant staff. Bargain evening out thank you. Staff left us chatting for half an hour after our meal with us having to ask for bill which was nice as we had a lot to talk about.

Cote is such great value with friendly service and always good tasty food.

Myself and three friends booked at Cote Blackheath for 6.30 and didn’t leave until 9.30. We had such a good evening, the set menu was great and we all enjoyed our meals. In addition we had the free Negronis and a delicious bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, plus coffee, and the bill was very reasonable. The service was good and the atmosphere really buzzing, so all in all it was the perfect way to celebrate my birthday with good friends. I would definitely recommend Cote.

Lovely food and wonderful staff made my birthday very special

As a regular to this restaurant it was disappointing to be served luke warm asparagus without the ends cut off. However, the manager dealt with the problem so well and the rest of the meal was fine although my salad did not have sufficient avocado. This was an isolated poor experience in a restaurant which is usually fantastic food and value for money. The staff were great.

Initial server assignment chaotic. Who’s table is it? Waited ten minutes to order drinks. Server needs training on situational awareness. Asked 3 times if we wanted to order while waiting for our first drink and bread with olives. Obvious we had not looked at the menu. Food arrived cold and had to be sent back. Food returned to table lukewarm. We gave up and ate it anyway. Manager comped coffee for three, nice gesture. Good that Sancerre was back on the menu. Previous two visits at this location Sancerre stocked out. This is a French restaurant, right? We are US tourists here for eight weeks. Eat at Cote every week. Experiences at other locations in London consistently far superior. This outlet needs corporate intervention. This location understaffed. Needs headsets. I am not a restaurant or food service guy. Somehow felt quality of food has gone the hill slightly. Ordered usual engligh breakfast formulae. Bacon overcooked and sausage skin was burnt. Toast came quite cold.
