Côte Blackheath

We were sitting in a really noisy area and my husband hear me talking or the waiters. We asked if we could be seated in a quieter area. It was no trouble at all. The staff were more than happy to accommodate us. The food was delicious and the service brilliant.

Our favourite local restaurant always consistently good food and welcoming atmosphere.

As always, we had a lovely lunch again. The staff at Blackheath are always very friendly, helpful and attentive but not intrusive. Well done!

Our table collapsed whilst we were attempting to move it and we couldn’t have had friendlier staff to put everything right again! Very friendly and helpful staff.

We had a lovely late lunch after a visit to the National Maritime Museum. I had the chicken supreme and my husband had the duck - they happily changed his potato dish as he didn’t like the one that came with the order.

The whole Cote Brasserie experience was amazing as always. Great customer service from the staff and the food was presented extremely well and the food was cooked to perfection.

Went for breakfast with friend. I had the vegetarian breakfast, I love this breakfast, the vegetarian sausages are soooo good, best I have ever tasted. Service was pleasant and fast as usual. My only gripe is that the advocation was a bit hard and poached eggs could have been hotter. As ever it was a good local bistro that is good value for money.

Had a really lovely brunch at Cote with some of my family. It was my birthday and staff went out of their way to make it feel special - with a few unexpected (but appreciated!) treats. Food, service and value for money were all great. We'll be back! Thank you.

Lovely lunch as usual! The waiter saw me approaching the restaurant and held the door open for me as I had a large bouquet of flowers for my friend. He immediately offered to bring a bucket of water for the flowers so they sat on the table with us during our lunch. We enjoyed our free drink and an excellent lunch with wine as usual. Excellent, friendly service as always.

Celebrated my husbands birthday here this evening as a party of 5. Welcoming staff, great ambiance and delicious food. We shall return again soon!

It was a busy sunday end of brunch - start of lunch time. We were seated promptly and orders taken, our food came quickly and was delicious, we didnt feel rushed and our server ensured we had water etc on the table. It was a great brunch experience, I'd definitely come back.

Food was excellent as usual. Had the pre 7pm menu. Starters and main were interesting and well presented. Service friendly and efficient. As we are regulars and they were not full up were were allowed to continue chatting for about thirty minutes before being given bill. The only thing that let the experience down was the boring selection of puddings. Crepe caramel is their signature pudding so it must stay but the rarely changing limited choice of puddings does get rather boring especially if you want a less sugary option. Lovely staff and food was good quality, this Cote does not feel like a chain but a privately run restaurant where the staff care. Only downside is that it gets so busy- and as it got busy the staff were much less attentive, we had to wait quite a while for the plates to be cleared, more drinks to come and it took and age to get the bill. But was it a really nice evening. Shame they missed it was my dads birthday- I had put it in the requests when we’d booked, in the past we’ve had a candle in his desert.

Excellent breakfast with friends on a Sunday morning in Blackheath.

A particularly good evening, we had the crab starter, steak main and lemon tart to finish with a bottle of red, Perfect.

Blackheath is my absolute favourite restaurant! The staff are wonderful and the food is always really good, fresh and expertly cooked. Highly recommended.

Meal was very good service good my wife ordered the chocolate mousse and as she got to the bottom of the dish she found a sharp object was in a mouthful of the mousse which on inspection seemed to be a small splinter/shard of ceramic/glass/bone. It was pure luck that no physical damage was done. Although there was a reduction made to the bill by the manager this is the latest in a string of incidents at cotes blackheath. We have been loyal customers with cotes for several years and have always been more than satisfied with the services we receive. Considering the amount of competition in blackheath village it seems that over the last few months your standards have dropped.

The magic of Cote, Blackheath, is that you make a chain restaurant feel like a much-loved local independent. Some of that is down to the menu and pricing (And the offers) but it's really mainly because of the staff. The team work brilliantly well together and are so welcoming and efficient that us locals just keep coming back. In consequence, Cote is really busy, while others struggle or fail, in a village where there is a lot of competition- so keep it up, and thanks
