I had a lovely birthday dinner with some thoughtful touches made by the staff to make it more special.

Food was excellent and given a good table by the window which made our dining experience even nicer, very good service even thought it was busy.

Meal very nice. Staff friendly. Being a Friday quite noisy but enjoyed our visit.

Excellent evening. Dined with two friends one had the duck which she said was the best she’d every tasted cooked to perfection and I had ribeye rare again fabulous. Staff are all brilliant and The whole place has a very nice warm atmosphere.

Me and my wife had a lunch and was such a perfect choose because the waiting stuff was very welcome and the foods was delicious. First time and definitely we'll back! :)

The team at Cote make a positive impact the moment you walk in the door. The service is pleasant, friendly and efficient. We liked the December special of scallops and boudin noir.

Felt rushed to begin with; got given red wine and starter with no bread or blanc de blanc beforehand.

Very good food, service and value. Only problem is it gets a bit difficult to hear what others are saying when it is busy - need to work out which table would be best to is at from the point of view.

Another splendid evening, fine food served by smiling staff obviously happy in their work. Lots of tables with groups of diners, somewhat over jubilant at times but nothing too much. All in all a good night out.

As always the food was great. I felt that staff could have been a little more friendly and attentive but overall I find this restaurant always pleasant to visit.

My first breakfast at Cote and I was impressed! Great food at a great price, and a wonderful Expresso Martini to finish it off! Well we were celebrating!

Very vibrant atmosphere, warm welcome, tables are placed somewhat cramped, all too close together for dinner dining, it appears the restaurant has tried to fit in as many tables as possible. Waiter for our station was efficient but need to smile a little more, did not appear to be enjoying his job.

The only issue was a wobbly table which is annoying and could be fixed with a wedge.

The food was nice and delicious. The service could be better.

Overall a positive experience. The restaurant is in a great location and the atmosphere was just right, not too noisy but with a buzz. As a vegetarian I am normally cautious of french style cuisine but the vegetarian offerings were very good and I will certainly visit a Cote Brassiere again. The only downside was our server who when asked whether the French Onion soup was vegetarian was uncertain and then appeared to guess at the answer. They later dropped a used knife on me, marking my jumper.

Our order was fragmented in its delivery to the table meaning some people had finished their meal as ours was arriving.

Despite that we booked, we were taken to the worst table with a lot of traffic. Food portion was mean, did not fill us up, so we left quickly and now we are eating our snack at home. What a waste of time and money.

We had an exceptionally good meal last night. The portions were very generous and we both had the pork main - which was beautifully cooked and delicious.

Really lovely restaurant and great atmosphere. The food is classic French and whilst the menu is not expansive, it's focussed which makes the food well tried, tested and very good.

Our waiter was Jacob & he did a great job making sure we had all we needed.

Tasty food and excellent service. A very enjoyable evening out.
