Lovely food. Delicious cocktail. Pleasant staff. Nice evening out - will dine here again.

Had a fantastic lunch today celebrating my mums birthday. October special of Pork tenderloin was absolutely delicious. Excellent service, Covid rules followed and an all round great experience!

Always friendly and good atmosphere. food always cosistant. However I did have a mixed salad, should really call it mixed lettuce salad.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Not overly keen on the adding of the service charge automatically to your bill, seems awkward to ask for them to remove it and pay it separately in cash, to the amount that you feel you should pay. Other than that I do love going to Cote. They wouldn’t give us the rhubarb martinis though, which was a bit mean....we are regulars.

Consistently good food and service. Felt very safe and Covid compliant.

My friend is vegan, she could only have a tomato salad and fries as there were no vegan options on the menu. Also, I ordered a mint tea and it was literally served as a mug of hot water with mint leaves in it, no tea pot! Very disappointed with my birthday meal I’m afraid.

This was our 47th anniversary and we could not have picked a better restaurant, we were looked after by Karolina and it made our day, the food exceptional but the service even better and this young lady a credit to your company and hopefully her career blossoms. Many thanks to Cotes.

The tables were well set out ,well spaced but not obviously because of the pandemic. The service and food were very good we would booke at cote again. Pmarsland

First time back since "Lock Down" , totally enjoyed being back in Bishop's Stortford Cote , Good vibes, Good Food, didn't get a chance to try the chesse board because i was full up, so better planning next time on my part. Good to see the place full again

Excellent food, great service and lovely setting we all really enjoyed our meal. The only slight grumble was that our mains were brought up, whilst one of our group was still eating his starter (he was a child and eating slowly, but thought someone e should have checked before starting to serve).

I been to the bishop's stortford branch so many times and really enjoyed it Lunch time . This time we had an evening meal me my partner and two girls. First the waiter leant over partner to give me my drink and my daughter when he should of walked around then he did it with our food. Then they gave my daughter a different dish to what she ordered, time she got what she originally ordered we had finished our dinner I wasn't happy because it was the first time we had been out since March. I didn't have to pay for her dinner still think they should have done more .

Nothing vegetarian on menu - made my friend a cheese omelette and charged us £10 +

Where do I start !! Waitress ignored our written request for a booth When pointed out we got a booth Ordered and received a bottle of wine Some 20 minutes later we still had not been approached for our orders? In light of NO vegetarian options nor a lunch menu We decided not to stay and eat When the bill for the wine came we were charged for the wrong wine even though we were only customers in at the time. The manager was eating with a noisy crowd of staff the whole time we were there and didn’t speak to us even though she knew we were leaving without eating. All in all a poor show

It was great being back at Côtes after lockdown, to see all the staff again. We booked online and asked for a booth and when we arrived we were met by Kasia and directed us to our booth. We both enjoyed our food and we were well looked after during the meal. Your staff are well trained and knowledgable and special thanks to Alaska, Alex and Telmo. Many thanks for a nice meal out after lockdown 👍
