Wow never been here before, the service and staff where fantastic and very friendly burnt at all times keeping to guideline and practice of safe environment of safe social distancing. Tge food was was wonderful and they had a very good menu, especially for me and my mum as needed a wheat and gluten free menu. Will be definitely going back again.

Exceptional service from Kasha and her team from the moment we arrived until we left. The food was delicious, arrived hot and was delivered without delay even though it was busy. Lovely choice of wine too. Great menu choices. For me the chocolate moose was to die for. This was the best “Cote” experience we have ever had. The staff seem really happy and friendly no doubt because they are excellently lead by Kasha. Simply superb. We will return as soon as we can for another lovely meal. Keep up the great standards and you will thrive.

We’ve missed dining at cote during lockdown but have now made a second visit since cote reopened and we are pleased to say that we felt safe and well looked after. The menu is shortened but there is still plenty of choice and our meal was absolutely delicious- thank you cote!

Food delivery was very slow and over 30 mins between starter and main which meant we didn’t stay for desserts or coffee as we ran out of time and didn’t want to wait any longer. The food was of a good standard when it arrived. . The staff did apologise and removed our drinks and starters off the bill which was a nice gesture. We also were seated at a table that had a lot of people passing by leaving the restaurant so asked to be moved which the manager was very accommodating on.

There was a delay with our food but this was more than compensated by the very attentive male waiter who apologised profusely and gave us complimentary coffees to make up for the delay. Excellent customer relations, which is sadly not often experienced in other venues.

Lovely staff, atmosphere, ambiance and good food. Really pleased Cote is open again. It was missed.

Another superb evening at Cotes, Bishop Stortford! Excellent food, fabulous service and a continental ambiance. I would highly recommend this restaurant for an amazing gastronomic experience any day of the week.

Was an enjoyable experience, my only negative was the amount of customers walking around not wearing face covering?? I encountered two ladies in the WC upstairs not wearing face covering and many people getting up to leave with their faces uncovered! I believe this is against govt legislation and needs to be remedied.

Food was lovely both in presentation & taste, & service was exceptional, with one of our waitresses training & was only on her 2nd day. And when it was noted that one of us was celebrating a birthday our shared dessert was delivered with a lovely birthday message in chocolate sauce!! 😊 My only criticism is that the haddock from the specials menu did not have enough spinach with it. Other than that, a perfect experience & will definitely return.

Our first local night out since lockdown and the restaurant had a great Covid set up. Delightful service and the best value Chateaubriand ever which was absolutely delicious. Perfect desserts too
