Very busy and very noisy - the service was good but lacking a smile or two. The Food excellent as absolutely superb - dessert to die for.

The service was fantastic and the food lovely, cannot fault a wonderful evening. Staff were very attentive and polite. Great atmosphere spacey and light. Great selection of food.

Once again, the best food and service in Stortford. It is difficult to choose what not to order from the changing monthly menu, without even looking at the a la carte.

Always very consistent. Lovely staff, good food, excellent service. The best restaurant in Bishops Storford for sure! They also do a lovely good quality breakfast which we enjoy regularly as well as a good lunch. Never been for dinner but my friends tell me it is also very nice with a good atmosphere.

The fish I had was very good a nice size potion well presented the vegetable side order was small but sufficient and tasty. The desert pastry was aliterate hard for my taste but ok.

We were a party of 8, & we choose the 2 course menu. The staff could not understand that 4 of us wanted a first course to arrive at the same time as the main course for the other guests. Consequently we didn't all eat our 2 courses at the same time resulting in long waits. Very unsatisfactory. The food was very good.

An excellent restaurant, food a service always good, Well situated in the centre of the town within easy reach of the car parks and other facilities.

Good food and charming service. Including service in the bill is overtly commercial and sends the wrong message to customers. Good atmosphere but it was actually a bit cold especially in the window area.

Only one disappointment as the tuna niçoise did not have any warm new potatoes. There were not any potatoes at all. Otherwise all great thank you.

Good fòd nice setting with a relaxed feel and nice friendly staff. Will definitely come back for a second visit maybe at a night time

Good food, service OK a little slow and forgot a couple of drink orders. A couple of dishes where not available, a little strange as we dines at 19:30

Excellent and friendly service...and terrific food. Menu was varied and interesting and we really were spoilt for choice. Definitely be on our list to go again soon.

Service was slower than usual. There seemed to be fewer staff on duty. The three female servers were certainly very busy. Food was of the same high standard; we had a very nice lunch although I have not yet received my free bottle of wine!

Wonderful service , staff were attentive without being intrusive ,nothing was too much trouble.Steak was cooked to perfection . Looking forward to booking my next visit.

Great value for money on early set menu. Always a warm welcome, food is reliably good, service efficient and friendly despite the restaurant getting busy. Even on the early menu you are never being rushed.

I brought a friend for a birthday lunch last week. We were very courteously received and assisted - my friend walks with a stick - and had a table in the window, which was lovely. The service was very good and the food arrived piping hot and freshly-cooked. It was excellent. We had a really lovely time and would come again.

Great value 3 course lunch - perfect size portions. Attentive but unobtrusive staff made the experience very relaxing - perfect setting to catch up with good friends. Have made plans to meet here again very soon.

I love Cote and regularly visit many of their branches. The food was lovely as usual, however the staff put me off. When we first arrived, a girl and boy were at the main entrance messing around.. or flirting. They didn't acknowledge we were there and were still laughing when they finally said hi and then the guy touched the girl and she giggled and said "stop it". I found it very unprofessional and awkward to say the least. We then had the same guy standing next to our table later on shouting being unprofessional across the restaurant! It was very strange and we felt quite awkward. The usual staff that I see were not in there and these ones I had never seen before. Other than that the food was lovely and I wouldn't stop going to Cote as it is very good value for quality food.

Very good waiter service but had to send to minute steaks back for being extremelytough!!!!! Replaced promotly and much better and bill was adjusted as goodwill. Would have preferred not to have had to complain over something so simple to cook!

As usual fab food and fab service. Couldn't do enough for us. Got our free bottle of wine as well. Roll on next week with friends

Great food and atmosphere for a family birthday celebration. Each member of our party had something different and thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The staff were all friendly and efficient.

Seven of us went for dinner and it was my first visit there. Food and service were good and hadn't realised there is a large outside area for warmer days and evenings

The restaurant wasn't busy but we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. This Cote is quite large with a variety of different seating options both inside and out. Sunday parking is easy and the service was good. The food was as good as ever.

We had a lovely dinner there and the service was impeccable. I spoke with the manager and he was also delightful and helpful. The food was excellent from seafood to steak to vegetarian options! And reasonably good price for what we had! Please keep up the great work!

Nice location. Varied menu to suit all tastes., plus no problem to chose what we wanted from either menu - including having 3 starters as a main course. Staff were lovely and very helpful.

Great service and food was delicious, a always. Complimentary wine (from Cote Rewards) was nice too! We would happily go back - all of the staff were really friendly too.

Nice restaurant in a good location with easy parking available. Service was ok as was food but it was nothing special and a review maybe gave me too high expecations.

Enjoyed the meal, the staff were attentive and helpful and the ambience was great. The menu could do with a refresh on the vegetarian side,E. g. A veggie version of the Tolouse sausage?

Excellent meal, good wine. Just what we wanted for a mid week meal! Good service, no prolonged waiting. I'm sure we will be back before long.

The Staff and food are very good at the resturant and the manager is always very helpful, the only thing we don't agree with is the service charge but when you ask for the bill just ask for no service charge on it.

Great menu (especially as I'm gluten free- a totally separate menu) friendly attentive staff, fresh, colourful delicious food. Oh and great wine list too. Lovely evening will go back for sure

We had two courses, and the food and service were very good indeed. We stayed for several hours and had a very nice time. We were not rushed in any way. I was Impressed that soya milk was available for the coffee.

Food was excellent! Party of 5 and all had different mains and desserts, everyone expressed how good their was. Personally the pork belly for me was spot on.

Tasty breakfast with the family today at Côte. The smoked salmon and scrambled eggs are particularly delicious. Staff courteous, prompt, not intrusive. Will visit again. Thank you.

Went for mothers day - Staff very helpful - Great service and really good value for money - I would recommend to anyone - A good way to start the Sunday morning

The food was lovely but the service not so good. An optional gratuity of 12.50 % was added the bill which they would not take off. They obviously do not understand the word optional.

We went for dinner, 6 of us in a Friday night. Very good service , our waiter was attentive and had a great personality. Food was tasty and well presented. Have been before and would def return. Darren p.s. The breakfasts are nice too

The Early evening menu is a very reasonable price, and the food is good. I thought the range of starters was particularly imaginative, well presented and tasty.

We have always had such consistence good service and excellent food at the Bishops Stortford Branch. The team are very welcoming and that's why we return numerous times, and will continue to do so.
